We've had the pleasure of working with him on bathroom renovations and deck projects at both our previous house and the one we just bought. We highly recommend Andy for any home improvement needs!

He started by doing an assessment of the work and asking me what I wanted to have completed and made appropriate suggestions for what steps should be involved. He was very helpful in pointing out some of the damage we were unaware of and walked us through how he intended to complete our project before he started. We knew exactly what was going to be done as he moved forward and there were no surprises. He and and his crew were personable, talented,, very capable and very patient with us as we asked a lot of questions along the way. They were definitely project-oriented and never allowed any "bumps" along the way to slow them down. I was very impressed with the manner in which Andy was able to copy the detail in cutting out certain areas of the posts that took quite a bit of time and skill on his part as it was very meticulous work. The end result was a solid and well built deck that is ready for paint and stain. They completed their work in a short amount of time, in fact less than we had figured and cleaned the job site immaculately. This was one of the most pleasant experiences we have had in working with any sub-contractor in many years. The fact Andy is an Army veteran, like myself made it a more pleasureable experience. I would highly recommend him for any deck or fence work that you may have. He is a fine example of what excellent work home owners should receive from their contractors.

They found plumbing issues that other guys shrugged and said "doesn't look like it's a problem" when there's water coming out of a ceiling. These guys found the problem, fixed it in a way that will last, and are currently working on some other projects for us. The enthusiasm and knowledge of their craft is amazing. I'm so used to guys coming in and saying "you won't understand it" but these guys detail everything in a way that makes sense. The pricing is also fantastic. We were quoted 3k for a project that they charged $700 for, and fixed the problem permanently. ALSO. They clean up everything. The room was cleaner than before they started. Truly a blessing to have come across these guys when owning a 120 year old house. If we won the lottery tomorrow I'd pay these guys to rebuild our house, they're that good. Highly recommend!!!

King Piers was not only competitive but very realistic about how to solve my problems. The owner came out and provided a quick and easy estimate. I am very glad I went with King Piers. King Piers was able to get us on their schedule within a week. King Piers was more expensive and I didn't feel as comfortable with the man who did the estimate, however, the guy who physically did the work was kind and knowledgeable. My husband spoke with him multiple times throughout the process and said he seemed really experienced and confident but he wasn't arrogant. There was a miscommunication on our end, I misunderstood the scope of work. I was out of town and having to FaceTime in to see what was happening. As soon as my husband even dared to question the process the owners son got really annoyed, rude and, somewhat aggressive. As soon as he deemed us a potential problem he didn't listen to what we were saying and just kept repeating himself "Did you read the estimate? Do you want me to call my dad?" So...take that for what you will. They started very loud work very early, we had multiple complaints from neighbors frustrated that the concrete was being dug/drilled so early. The posts are seemingly solid, our floor is level, and the addition to the back of our home that was sliding is seemingly secure. Though they were more expensive than the other estimate, I didn't feel that the price was outrageous. Did they technically get the job done? Yep. Would I recommend them? Maybe?
