I know good shooting and good locations as well as anyone and I will tell you this- I was a regular club member at On Target in Crystal Lake starting in 2018, It was a very comfortable, almost family atmosphere and the staff was patient and knowledgeable! When On Target was sold and became North Shore Sports, it all went to hell! I have since started shooting at D5 and I will gladly say that this is a first class operation!

Didn't take any info down so I knew he wasn't interested and wouldn't contact me. Of course they didn't. Guess business is too good. Went to use the range. The range supervisor talked to me like he was some sort of drill instructor. Real tough guy. D-5 has turned into Marengo Guns North. Maybe worse. At least we still have Gat Guns.

Frustrating as that was I decided to not make a big deal of it and move forward with trying to use it. It was at that point I learned that it was broken which is when I decided to call. I was refused a refund for my used and broken item I spent $70 on. On the phone the man I spoke with said himself that it was supposed to have been new. He was going to allow me to exchange which does me absolutely no good as they have nothing I need outside of what I bought, and beyond that I don't trust them as a business after this. I reiterated that he sold me a used/BROKEN item to which he responded "well how do I know you didn't break it" with a snarky tone. So now I guess I just donated $70 to their business. While initially I was extremely upset. I have since taken some time to reflect and realized that any "business" that is so desperate for $70 that they will not right their grossly deceitful transaction with the customer probably needs that money more than I do. I can't wait to see what new business moves in there after they flop.

LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE…read more Vintage Bliss is what happens when your Mom's Pinterest had a little too much and barfed up a store full of perfectly curated, vintage inspired, wine themed stuff. Throw pillows with slogans? They got 'em. Furniture refinished with chalkboard paint? Oh yeah. Wall hangings with inspirational sayings about living, laughing AND loving? Say no more, fam. VB is kind of in the middle of nowhere but the Lake Geneva moms seem to have it on the radar, with good reason. You won't find any dusty crap or musty old garbage here - everything is beautifully arranged, perfectly displayed and honestly, pretty reasonably priced. They have helpful and kind staff and even measuring tapes in strategic spots to help you out, so strap on that Michael Kors handbag and get ready to SPEND! Most of this isn't my personal style but I didn't leave without a few heavenly smelling candles and a sassy greeting card. Perfect place to find a nice gift for the lady in your life who needs a "wine o'clock" sign or a "chop it like it's hot" tea towel. NGL, was tempted by that last one.
