Bright lights cast a glow late into the night on this quiet corner of town and this establishment has done much to illuminate the neighborhood with an old fashioned family touch so sorely needed in a world of soulless cookie-cutter shopping plazas and grocery dives. Jag, Jay, and Luis all know your name, face and what you come for. Accordingly, they are always poised to provide their expertise and recommend the perfect new favorite thing of yours. These guys are absolute class and I will always feel indebted to them for not only having boosted the appearance, morale and attitude of our neck of the hood but for always having given me 100% every time I would walk in that door. Not only is it the personal touch that makes such a difference, it is their passion for always wanting to be the best they can be. Honesty. Integrity. Quality. Selection. Value. These are some of the key terms that JJ's strives so conscientiously to uphold and raise the bar on every single week. These guys will always have my loyalty. This is the place -- come on by. But I've always known TWM has way better selection. Walking in, honestly, the sheer variety kind of overwhelmed me at first. That said, the aisles were laid out really well, so once I got my bearings it was easy to browse around by type. That's about when Justin, the floor/wine manager, came over and asked if I needed a hand. He ended up walking me through a bunch of different spirits, taking the time to actually explain things rather than just pointing at bottles. What I appreciated most was that he wasn't pushy at all - no upselling, just genuinely helpful recommendations. That's honestly what got me to trust his suggestions, and I walked out with more than I planned on buying. Zero regrets, though.
