Popped on over for a quick ice cream for nostalgia purposes. When we walked in the store was empty, but the employees came out from the back quickly. Was served very a small cup of cotton candy and it truly was the worst ice cream I've had. The texture was grainy and inconsistent. It also had gooey slimey texture almost like the ice cream melted and then was refrozen. Was extremely disappointed. read more

I like the DQ, I don't come here often but when I do - I really like a a thick chocolate shake, the kind that can deal with my running around errands. It sits in my cars cup holder and ever so slowly melts, so each time I get back I have a few nice nice cool shake sips to enjoy as I drive to the next place, by the time I am done, so is my shake. Staff is friendly it can get a little busy at times, but its affordable and who doesn't want a nice cool shake on a hot summer day? read more

Nice enough people, but charging .70 flat fee for a credit card transaction is ridiculous. I know there is a cost to use a CC machine, and if a specific business model warrants it, I understand the need to pass it along. But to charge a flat number of .70 which equals 18% on a $4 Blizzard is insulting. Take your average sale and build it in the cost, or do the extra work and charge 3% like those merchants who pass along the fee. There are PLENTY of options for ice cream in the area, and when the Benny's go home, I won't be coming back in the off season. You have to make it easy to do business with you. Being in a good location with the Dairy Queen brand only gets you so far. read more

I don't frequent this place that much, but I was in the mood for a large Black-and-white milkshake. I told Edgar to make it perfect and guess what he did. I had to tip the man, it was delish. There's ample parking here and the place is very clean. I did not order an orange Julius nor the now very popular dipped cones with some exotic fruit toppings, just a black n white. Nuff said!!! read more

The servers were slow, the place smelled like chemicals, the milk shake was poorly made. I paid for 3 waters which I was never served. I will find a better ice cream stop next trip read more

Amazing customer service so nice and so sweet! Fav ice cream place ever! they are super affordable too!

Went here last week and used my debit card. I asked for a receipt so I would remember to deduct it on my checking account ledger. I was very surprised to see I was charged a 90 cent addition to my total price. They have no signs or did not tell me when I handed them my card. I will never go here again. I hope they take my 90 cents and everyone's who gets this extra charge and buy some cleaning supplies because the counter and floors were very dirty. Good luck dairy queen. read more

It's the same DQ and ok... the best thing was the couple served before us had paid for our two small cones. That's just great and we left $10 for the next customer's order... pay it forward read more

Loving it! A Little too much Dairy, not enough Queen. Love love love love love. So cute. Strawberry is better.

The service attitude is not good, the ice cream just melted when it was served, no paper towels

Yesterday was my third visit to this location. Each time we ordered the same three items. Each time we were charged higher than the posted price. The same counter person was there each time. $1.00 charge for sprinkles. Two small cones with sprinkles was $9.90 yesterday. The float was $6.35. The store had a strong odor of pine cleaner. Not a good smell when dealing with food. Check your charges against the menu board and count your change. The selection is typical of all Dairy Queen's. No public restroom if you have children. Parking lot always empty, plenty of parking. read more

Dairy Queen seems to be frozen in time and it's certainly difficult to walk away from the nostalgia but the lust to downsize everything on their menu is in full meltdown here. Large becomes small while small becomes microscopic and a twenty yields a few coins in change. The world marches on I suppose. read more

I went there this evening. I ordered a large soft serve cone. The cone was stale. I went back To the store to advise Is the representative there. The individual didn't seem to care. He stated that the box was opened in the morning. This was the evening of Friday 8/13/21. Bad customer service! read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars honestly... I hate to say that but, my friends and I can here for dessert tonight (June 2021) and let's just say, NASTY. The place smelled like bleach when we walked in and the barriers where they scoop the icecream out of had ice built up from it looks like YEARS. The place was a mess and literally falling apart. Management needs to do something about this. The icecream was freezer burnt and the soft serve was acidy. We all left with stomach aches. Screwed up. Do better DQ, you have a pretty hefty reputation and I'd hate to see lil ol' Belmar screw it all up. read more

They had just closed but reopened for us!!!! Young guys working all seemed to be having fun. They were genuinely kind and allowed us I'm with a smile. On top of that they were giving us more than we asked! We didn't want to bother but they insisted to make sure we got exactly what we were there for. The ice cream never let's me down here! I got a cone with 2 flavors that were unreal and mixed so well. I will absolutely come back here multiple times. They continued to make us feel welcome and know that it's not a problem at all! On top of that, they freaking knew their stuff! We had a lot of annoying questions and they really just knew it all. These guys are truly awesome. 5 star spot for sure. Super surprised for a chain! read more

I give this place 4 stars. Honestly for a chain spot they do a great job. Its right next to my apartment so I stroll down there after a few bong rips and I'm in heaven. I always get the oreo clusterfuck blizzard they make it just right and the service is GREAT which is always good. A bunch of young high school kids work there but they're happy to have a job and always seem to be happy when you show up which is unusual these days. Try this place out its great. read more

Belmar Dairy Queen - The spot! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Belmar, New Jersey

the place was an absolute mess, the machines were dirty, the floors were a mess, the sink was filled. there was one kid on and he obviously wasn't doing a lot to keep the store clean. i ordered a reese's blizzard and the ice cream tasted sour and like chemicals and the only good thing was the whipped cream. read more

My husband loves blizzards so he asked me to pick one up last night. At 9:30 there was a fellow mopping the floor - and I mean the whole floor was soaking wet - and he kept on mopping and cleaning while we were waiting- which took longer than usual because there was only one counter person. I get it Thursday night - October so off season- but really- not only was the floor crazy wet - like a quarter inch of water but the smell of cleaning fluid was so strong - I got a slamming headache. Today my my shoes and my sons shoes smell so bad we can't get near them - thanks a lot Nobody wants to buy ice cream under those circumstances- just saying - thanks for the migraine Maybe wait to actual closing at 11- to clean read more

I won't be back! Ordered a butter pecan ice cream cone, it looks like a kiddie cone and it was $4.50! Before ordering I asked the server what was in the lemon bar ice cream, her response "I don't know, it should say on the glass!" Back to Hoffman's I go! (The line at Hoffman's was out the door so I gave Dairy Queen a shot, never again) read more

The young kids that work here are friendly, outgoing and seem to care about the customers. However I find the owner rude, disresptful and just plain mean. He treats his employees like they are garbage. I will NEVER go back here and I will be sure to tell everyone I know to not give him their business. No job is worth being treated they way I witnessed him treating 15 and 16 yr olds. read more

If I could give this place zero stars and still leave a review I would. 99% of the time that's what this place deserves. It's gone way down hill since I've come here when I was a kid. I've been here numerous times within the past year and each time I come the young employees are absolutely miserable. I remember my first job and it wasn't my favorite place to be, but at least I put on a smile for the customers. I'm writing this review as I'm sitting in the parking lot after having my blizzard almost knocked over as it was aggressively pushed to me. The last time I came the three young girls working were arguing with each other loudly about having to share their tips with "the new girl." I don't know if it's the management or just the bratty employees, but I think it's time for this place to get a revamp. read more

All summer I went here and paid with my debit card. I also went in the fall and they charged me extra to use my debit. During a pandemic when we are encouraged to not pay cash they started charging more. Unreal. Also, due to the coin shortage using cards is encouraged. Shame on you Dairy Queen. read more

I mean lets be real here its DQ they have everything you could possibly want and more!!!

Four bucks and change for a small vanilla cone. Was told every DQ has different prices. Seems like an awful lot for a small soft cone.

I love DQ and went there as a child. Today I did not have a good experience. I babysit a girl named Abbey and she got a five dollar gift card for an end of the year goodie. After she got her DQ blizzard the second we stepped outside it dripped all over her. We went back inside and got a bigger cup. It was so soupy you could drink it with a straw. She had to throw it out before she got halfway through the Blizzard. She even told me it tasted awful. My sundae was ok. Maybe they need a better freezer. read more

super long lines definitely not worth it if you look at the prices ! store looks unorganized & not cared for correctly whoever owns this business should reconsider because they definitely dont put enough time in their store for those prices to be that high, never coming in here again. read more

I took my family to dairy queen in Belmar on Sunday. Much to my surprise we had a horrible experience. I ordered a small van cone to be dipped the girl said the ice cream was to soft to be dipped but never said until after we ordered that the ice cream was not freezing. First cone fell off cone all over my 8 month old baby. The other 3 cones were melting while licking as soon as we received them. I feel we should have been told that ice cream was not fully frozen before we ordered and we would have gone somewhere else to get what we paid for. This really was a disappointment going to this daily queen, which we will never go to again. Angie porsk@aol.com read more
