John arrived, put the new valve in! This company charges $75. to walk in the door; $180. per hour. The total for the replacement was $470., includes tax. Thanks to Caballero, I can sleep tonight and not worry about the house flooding! You can't put a price on peace of mind!

I was ready to be very worried about this job, but Dennis assured me that he and the team had fixed similar problems in Ocean Grove, and he seemed confident they could do the same for me. It took a LOT of work, including clearing over 90 feet of the pipe and installing several feet of new pipe, replacing that part of the terracotta pipeline. They had to dig beneath one of the garden beds and were careful to lift out each of the plants so we could easily replant when the job was done. I highly Recommend Yuhas Plumbing! Mr. Michael Yuhas is an excellent , no nonsense professional,…read more big or small, he will solve it. I had a leaking ceiling from what I thought it was the toilet above. After years of repeated leaking, and 2 Plumbers later, with multiple theories and costly supposedly solutions, I finally called Mr Yuhas. He thoroughly looked at the whole situation, and within minutes went upstairs and found out exactly what the problem was. As it turned out, the bathtub, which was close the toilet area, had some loose tiles. Every time someone took a shower, water would slowly showed up as a leak near the toilet area. No one even notice that the tiles were so loose that water was sneaking thru them. Only Mr. Yuhas was able to identify and locate them, he then clean the area thoroughly, and re glue the tiles back on. Ever since then, we have not gotten one leak from that area. He also guarantees his work! Since, I only hire him for all my plumbing needs, because I am sure when he takes care of the problem, it will get done correctly. BTW, his prices are reasonable...:)

Normally, I would have fixed it myself, but was too weak to do so. I got on NextDoor, and someone was inquiring about plumbers, and William Archer and Sons were recommended several times. I took the chance and called them. This was on Saturday afternoon. Within an hour, Chris and Alex were at my door to fix the issue. They were quiet, clean with the repair, and had a disposal unit on their truck, so I did not have to go out and shop for one. I took advantage of that, and within two hours of their arrival, leaks and a broken unit were a thing of the past. I paid a bit extra of course as it was an emergency call and bought their unit (a well known brand) but I have solid peace of mind. Thank you guys!
