When you first walk in you are hit with a weird unpleasant smell. After getting my order taken by a clearly unclean employee, I learned what that smell was. I should have just stopped there, but I didn't. After paying for my order, I walked back to use the tiny, strange bathroom. On my way out I saw this unclean employee making my food with no gloves on. Well, I reviewed this place two years ago. Haven't been back since until today. So here goes. I wanted a hoagie that was going to be on my way home. BB fit that bill. The price was alright and I would not have to drive out of my way. I called in to pick up. They were friendly on the phone and got the order right. It was ready in the time frame they said it would be. When I went into the store, the first thing I noticed was the not so subtle sewer smell. NOT what you want to smell around food. I mentioned it and was told the grease trap needed cleaning. If I had been walking into the store to place an order, I would've walked out. But I had already ordered my food and everything in front of my eyes looked clean. I ordered an Italian hoagie and a roast beef. And fries. The fries were fine. The Italian was ok, although I could have made two hoagies with the mayo from this one. But the Roast Beef - I actually had to smell and taste it to make sure it wasn't off. It will be off by tomorrow. Same complaint I had two years ago. It wasn't fresh looking. It also was just low quality meat. If it's not popular, they should take it off the menu. Clearly the meat is sitting around too long. My husband ate half of the half of his large hoagie. The rest of it went into the garbage. I'm sorry to leave this review, but I also wasted my money here. I hope reviews from locals are taken seriously for the betterment of the business and the community. read more

Belly Busters Sub Shop, Oxford, PA. This may be the perfect traditional pizza shop cheesesteak. Everything on this Cheesesteak work perfectly together. I got the Value buster. Of course I got the Value Buster. I can't find my menu but the Value Buster was fried onions, pickles, peppers, mushrooms, mayonnaise and probably something else I forgot. You can clearly see in the pictures that there is an awesome amount of cheese. The beautiful part about this Cheesesteak is that everything worked together. This was the Ultimate Team Cheesesteak. Absolutely DISGUSTING!Used to be good. The Giant Cheese Sub the I bought was overflowing with mayonnaise. Literally. While the contents were what I wanted, there was so much mayonnaise the even after dividing the hoagie inti quarters, Literally rivers of watery mayonnaise were flooding out, spilling mayonnaise over me, my clothes and out into the sink. It was Horrible! I can't believe I paid $28.08 plus a $5.00 tip. The tip added insult to injury. What was the person who prepared this abomination thinking? I will never go back. I phoned in an order for two small hoagies and I was specific about what I did and did not want. Four minutes later, I get a call back for clarification. I drive the 8 miles there, pay my 21 dollars plus change and drive 8 miles back home. Neither hoagie was correct. What has happened to America. It's really not rocket science, folks. Great friendly staff! Stopped while visiting friends in the area and had a great selection of items on the menu. Cheese curds, Mac n chz bites, onion rings, and of course a cheesesteak. Considering that this place is probably the only place I would eat in this town, it's not half bad. I got my belly busted twice in one day - 12 inches for lunch and 12 for dinner. My sister and I just stopped at Bellybusters in Oxford Pa for lunch. I ordered the chicken strips from appetizer and my sister ordered the rockfish strips combo. She pointed out her choice to the guy. it came with a choice of side and she chose macaroni salad.( $11.99 ) After a few min the counter boy calls out to us sitting at table "your food is ready" The older guy that use to be there was so polite and good counter person. New owners now???? When we got our order and sat down and opened the container there was 5 rockfish strips ! No fries . My sister took it to the counter and showed him. He said "you didn't say combo!" So the price of the appetizer rockfish $11.99 and the price of the combo rockfish with fries and side $11.99 . I've been getting Bellybusters once every few months since I was about 8 years old. It's a family tradition that I hope never ends! I always go with their cheesesteak with onions, and am never disappointed. Hands down the best cheesesteak I've ever ate. It doesn't have any bells or whistles, and doesn't need them. My only recommendation is to get your order to go, because the building itself isn't in great condition and grosses me out. You never ever put onions mixed in with tuna, just on top if requested. You definitely do not load the cold cuts (meat/cheese) down the middle of an uncut folded bread & then just simply fold the bread - not how any sub is made. You need to cut the bread first then place the cold cuts on one side only, then toppings etc. This actually changes the entire dynamics of taste on the sandwich. You need to put generous amounts of oil & red wine vinegar on both the bread halves before you add your seasonings. Take a trip to NJ to either White House Subs, Riddle & Martin Subs, or Tastee Sub. These are stupendous examples of subs. A trip to any one of them for a study will do wonders for your business!!! read more

My son ordered mild wings I had a so-so cheesesteak and some not so good fries. The worst part is we had to wait almost 45 minutes for eight wings and a small fry and a cheesesteak on a Sunday night. The staff is always friendly and even though that place can get packed on a Friday or Saturday night, they fill your order in a timely manner. As with any place (especially if you are calling in an order to a crowded busy restaurant) you may want to repeat your order and double check that it was taken correctly .... mistakes happen everywhere. What a delightful "dive." Guy Fieri where are you at? This place is exactly what fans of DDD will love. They have delicious american comfort food and huge portions of it. We got the Bellybuster size cheesesteaks. For a steak that has american cheese it is very good and 24 inches of it, you can't go wrong. I haven't eaten/stepped foot in this joint in probably ten years and when I got the idea of those Lil bellybuttons (you must try) immediately my heart was set to make the trip.. We had a very large order to go, and when we asked to verify some items we were told they were in there. As food was being distributed, it was noticed 2 side items were missing. We verified no-one had then and verified they were on the receipt. When we called, we were treated rudely and told the items were sent with us. I get there, The gentleman at the register is completely flustered and confused doesn't even know what my order is even though I referred to the number they gave me over the phone.
