I ordered a small iced sugar cookie latte and the Faulkner burger. (Again, bear with me as yes, this is a snack!) The latte was so perfect for me! I was afraid that it would be too sweet but it was absolutely not! Someone with more of a sweet tooth would want to add sugar but I loved it. This means a lot as I am not a coffee drinker, especially not an iced coffee but this drink was exactly what I needed. I don't know much about coffee but I know about burgers and this burger was GOOD! I haven't been this impressed by a burger since Illegal Foods popped up at Joystick (Illegal Foods will forever be missed.) The burger is simple - meat, cheese, sauce and bun. But the flavor was 9/10! I would have given it 10/10 if there had been pickles! The meat was seasoned well, the sauce was complimentary to the meat and cheese and even though I got my burger to go, it was still HOT when I got to my car to eat it. This burger was finger-licking good but it was nicely wrapped in foil so I didn't make even a small mess. If I'd known this burger would be so tasty, I would have left a bigger tip because what a surprising treat! There was a live band playing the night I visited and the music was so chill. There were at least three musicians but I could only see the guitarist and the cellist (yes, cellist!) from where I sat. Their music was perfect for the energy of the space. The service was fast and warm vibey. The man who took my order had a genuine smile and had great energy. And the man who brought me my latte wasn't smiley but he had a warm vibe too. The shop was full too, with groups and solo patrons at most of the tables, but it wasn't loud. And feel like I'm blowing up their spot a bit, and for that, I am sorry! I'd recommend adding larger heaters and getting a couple of them, considering how cold it can get in North GA in the winter. I'd also recommend giving free water instead of requiring that people buy bottled water. If you were in the Atlanta area, not offering free water would be a code violation. Not sure if that applies here but just to be courteous to your customers you should be doing that. Back to the positives... I ordered a coffee based frappe with the "glamping" flavor (white chocolate and marshmallow) and I thought it was amazing. 10/10. I would definitely order it again. My order came out in a decent amount of time and the employees were friendly. The prices were reasonable and we found parking easily. I would happily come here again! Inside, is a small artisan coffee roaster who sells perfected coffee. The name, Belux represents owners' names, Ben and Lucy. They specialize in small batch ROASTING and PROPERLY BREWED COFFEE. They sell light to medium beans and serve ONLY coffee here...no food nor over sugared coffee disasters. I had a dopio and Ben kindly added a spoonful of foam for me. It was the most fragrant shot I've ever had. I fell in LOVE. Definitely the best coffee I've had in a couple of years! Belux speaks coffee. This is the only purist coffee retailer I'm aware of in Georgia and am so thankful, albeit 45 minutes drive. Also, they are the only one to offer Gesha outside of a special event.
