BAD COMMUNICATION!!!…read more I always take my vehicle to Northside Auto Service to get my oil change and never have a problem service is always good. I have on occasion had my brother pick me up and we get breakfast, but not every time! Today I took my car for an oil change I was the first customer there and told front desk that I was running to get breakfast and he said we will call you when it is ready and I said thank you! I returned and they had not even touched my vehicle. The front desk worker told me that I had to be here in order to receive service. The worker NEVER explained that to me! That should been explained instead of tell me that they would call me when it was ready! There was no apology for the miscommunication or anything! If that was a new policy all employees need to know the policies so that it could be communicated with the customers! That is bad business! I would not be so upset had I at least would have received an apology! I guess my business means nothing to them!

After a while I received a call from the owner of H&E Lewis Towing. He told me not to worry, he was coming and so was one of his guys with the tow truck. A short time later my ride appeared and so did the wrecker. I'm not sure what I would have done without his help. He recognized it didn't make sense for me to ride with the wrecker and wanted me to be comfortable and back on the road quickly. I can't thank him enough. He took great care of me. He was so pleasant, gave me a few laughs, wouldn't let me even pick up my own suitcase and took care of everything. No one likes disruptions but he made this a non event and before I knew it, I was back on the road heading to Nashville and caught my flight!!! Thank you so much!!

Prater's did complete the job, however I noticed my engine cover was damaged. The owner Bart Prater refused to replace my engine cover, although it would have only cost $50-100 dollars. He said the engine cover was going to get damaged since they had to pull it off over the oil filler tube. I explained to Bart that I should get my vehicle back without additional damage from their own fault!! Additionally, there was several clamps that was not re-tightened on the plastic under cover / fender liner that ended up causing the liner and plastic under cover to completely get ripped off my vehicle!! Now I will have to pay out of pocket expenses for damages caused by a lack of detail from Bart Prater Automotive Shop in Medina, Tennessee. I will NEVER take any of my five vehicles to Bart Prater Automotive again!!
