I interviewed many roofing companies and decided on Revolution for several reasons. First and foremost, Andrew and his team discovered issues with my roof that other roofing companies had failed to point out. I had a drainage issue with an almost completely flat portion of the roof. Andrew and his team came up with a solution that will prevent pooling and drainage issues in the future. Second, Andrew was quick to respond to questions and gather answers and information necessary for me to make an informed decision. Other companies failed to respond in a timely manner, if at all. Third, Andrew and the team took time to come out and visit the house several times prior to replacement, take pictures, have meetings formulating a plan, and developing a solution for a roof that will last for decades. Once the replacement began, the team started early and worked late, to ensure the process moved quickly. Each night the roof was secured to protect from any possible rain that might occur through the evening. They were in constant contact with me, either by call or text, sharing pictures, to inform me of situations they found as they uncovered the old roof, and offered different solutions for my opinion on how to correct them. As the job came to a close, the team quickly cleaned up all debris. Andrew made a site visit once the crew had left and spent time looking for any nails or materials that may have been missed. I filled out a roofing request through Facebook and this was one of the companies that called. I…read moreset up an appointment and they came on time. The inspector showed up with another guy. He said that he was his boss supervising him for the day. They inspected for about 45 mins and then worked in their vehicle for about 20 minutes to prepare the estimate. That's where things went south. He spent 20 mins showing videos of his company and how great they were, showing their various products etc before providing the estimate. Then when he presented the estimate it was $4000 more for shingles than two other local companies we had gotten and twice as expensive for metal than the other companies. When I ask for a roof quote that is what I want. The other two companies I got quotes from came out inspected and provided quotes. I did not need to be here. I don't want to be "sold" on roofing.

My insurance didn't just expect this of me, but all their clients. This is how my nightmare began. I interviewed several  roofing companies; but my biggest mistake was hiring SUNCOAST of NSB. They weren't concerned in doing  QUALITY WORK, they only just wanted to pass code, and to be paid. I wasn't out to pick at the roof or to get a free one.  I just wanted it to look like a professional did it as their brochure represented. ROOF ISSUES: Failed to return my calls Meet me at set time used old materials Stink pipe was cracked and bent-used tar to cover it up Tar was  smeared all over shingles SHINGLES WEREN'T ALILIGNED vertically OR horizontally. They weren't squared off. Lose Shingles Cavan Fitzgerald said,  "New drip edge would be installed. New lead boots and gooseneck vents would be included, but old materials were used. Cavan Fitzgerald, Rick, and Tammy RUDE were adiment that they weren't fixing the problems. Their reason was they assumed I wouldn't be happy; no matter what they had done. Cavan told me, Rick (the owner) refused to call me, because he doesn't speak with customers. Tammy, Rick, and Carvan said, "They have done as much as they are going to do, because it passed code. TAMMY RUDE (branch manager, threatened to place a lein on my home, while disregarding my complaint. She told me, "The job is done; and everything is done by code". When I told her Mike the inspector said, "It was a very sloppy workmanship And it looked rushed." She denied he said this. I asked Mike to tell the company,  but he said, he wasn't allowed to tell them what he thought, but only if it passed." Cavan told me I missed the most important question: "Is the company prepared to give you a release of lein"? After I paid my bill, he FAILED TO GIVE IT ME! *"The company only justified their work,  and refused work with me. Tammy ends our call by telling me, "The balance needs to be paid in full by the end of the day, or we will move forward to place a lein on your house. She said, Rick wasn't going to call me. When I asked Cavan he said the same thing.  He told me Rick doesn't talk with the customer. He said, "Customers are unhappy with some of the installation we do; it's not a perfect world". Employees and related problems 1. Cavan Fitzgerald salsman 2. TAMMY RUDA Branch manager 3. BOB-SUPERINTENDENT This young man was more concerned with his family issues and personal life, than staying on focus to see the job be done correctly. 4. Rick Tauscher vice-president and co-owner Mike Tauscher Refused to discuss and review issues with the roof. 5.Mike inspector"said,  "It looked like a sloppy job/ rushed job. (POOR WORKMANSHIP) " He seen the issues before I pointed them out. Shingles were going two different directions. Edges were jagged. Each row had uneven shingles and over lapped.  I am willing to show pictures , EMAILS,  and other details to allow others to see their work. 6. My bill was paid in full, but I am NOT happy with their lack of professionalism.
