Based on the results and him telling me that I did, in fact need a new roof, I engaged Astro to put mine in the schedule. It really was mind blowing how straight forward and honest the entire process was. They stayed in prompt communication and got the old roof demo'd and the new roof installed, in 2 days and it looks great. The original estimate that Johnny provided was the final bill, even though he told me ahead of time that once they got the old roof off, there might be undetected damage below which would increase the price but that wasn't the case. You know, living in a hurricane state, there are tons of disreputable contractors out there including in the roofing business, but Astro was amazing and they get my highest reviews for everything! Absolutely do NOT recommend Weathershield Gutters to anyone!!! They began our job a few months ago…read moreand still haven't completed it. They were to install new gutters, soffits, and fascia; however, in doing so, their cherry picker, which they had to use to get to higher peaks of our roof, damaged a huge amount of our front landscaping (which is fine b/c we can replace that & we said that was ok b/c there was no other way supposedly to reach those areas) BUT the MAJOR issue that WEATHERSHIELD GUTTERS is NOT responding to, thus the non-completion of the job, is that their cherry picker made a huge dent in the side of our brand new metal roof!!! This dent was acknowledged by one of the employees, Josh who does their soffit and fascia work. Josh began the job on our house initially as the soffits and fascia had to be installed 1st before the gutters, and he saw that the brand new roof was as a new roof is expected to be...in perfect shape. (It should be noted that Josh was a fantastic worker and a perfectionist, who took his time to make sure all of our metal was installed cleanly and dent-free and he did NOT cause the dent to the Roof.) Josh spoke with me and said that the dent was not there before their company started their work on our home and that their company, Weathershield Gutters, DID CAUSE the large dent in our new roof. The driver of the cherry picker was a young male who appeared to be in his late teens to early 20's and had never been to our house to perform work before. This person also earlier in the day was seen by my son using his drill gun to drill screws into our smaller trees out front. He told my 10yo son that he was "just checking his drill gun to make sure it worked." I've have tried contacting Weathershield Gutters on the phone many times both at their office and also called the OWNER, whose name also happens to be JOSH. No one answers ever or returns messages or texts or emails! I even went to their office today all the way in Titusville, about 40mins from my home, and, of course, no one is there; however, the owner Josh has the doorbell camera. He answered via that and started talking to me, not knowing who I was. When I started discussing all of the above with him, he became silent. I told him I was going to call my roofing company, who is waiting for authorization from Weathershield to come out to fix the huge dent that Weathershield caused. I had my roofing company on the phone and asked Josh to communicate to them the authorization, he remained mostly silent, denied responsibility, despite having an actual photo of the damage, then hung up. Weathershield doesn't want to lose money on the completion of my home's job to fix a roof problem they caused!! They have terrible integrity and honesty. Weathershield obviously must not care about having a good reputation to the point where even our roofing company, who used Weathershield as one of their "gutter" people, said they are not using them again! That should give you a wake-up call Weathershield!
