Intentionally having me come in to tell me the appointment is canceled when they could have called me is blatantly disrespectful and bad business practice. I had made the appointment two days before and was sent a confirmation email and text, which I replied yes to and confirmed a day beforehand. To add insult to injury, when the stylist was asked why she didn't call me to cancel, she claimed she wanted to be respectful and tell me in person! Take your business elsewhere. Reply to business manager: The appointment could have been cancelled beforehand, and there were ample opportunities to do so, including when I checked in at the frontdesk. I was told that it was "more respectful to tell me in person". Why disrespect my time and make me come in, wait 10 minutes, and then sit me in the barber chair to tell me that my appointment is cancelled? It's simply bad business practice.

Over the years, Sandra perfected my hairstyle, even as my tastes varied slightly by season or whim. Even when work and home moved elsewhere in Massachusetts, it was worth the 30-40 minute drive each way to go to Elite Hair Design. And it's not just great haircuts either, I've come to really enjoy my monthly conversations with Sandra (and I'm pretty introverted and anti-social).
