Perfectly standard barbershop. Straight and to the point cutting style--heavy clipper over comb work, finished with scissors. The barber is friendly, and checks in multiple times to see that you're happy with the results. Personally I feel he was moving a bit too fast--there was no one else waiting. I think his station could've been cleaner. Overall it's fine if you want a regular cut--no fancy fades--and be in and out quickly. Can't have enough good things to say about Luis Barber shop. Started coming to Luis 3 years ago because all my close friends use this place as well. If you want a great mens haircut without being rushed in and out this is the place to go. First off this place was originally owned by Luis (older gentleman now) who still works at the shop regularly. Now the place is run by Mo (Mohamed) who is an extremely nice guy. Mo knows all of his customers by first name and takes the time to ask how you are and what is new. When I get my haircut I always wait for Mo to be available. I work in Cambridge/Boston and live in Somerville but will always wait till I have time to drive to Woburn to get my haircut because hands down Mo just crushes it - not only that but you still get a straight blade hot shave when they are done with your hair. Old school. Strongly recommend taking some time to go to Luis. read more

This is a great barber shop. I moved from Connecticut about a year and a half ago and the hardest part was finding a new barber since I'd been going to the same one for about 25 years. I've been going here for years and its the best barber shop I've been to in my life. Really. Mohammad owns the place now, he's the best. He does an amazing job, he remembers his regulars, and he's a great guy. I called once and was running late - he was supposed to close but waited 25 minutes for me to show up so he could cut my hair. You can't beat that service. I've moved to Wakefield and there must be 100 closer places I could go to get a haircut, but I still drive to Woburn Square to see Mohammad. Its cash only. read more

Came in after work today and wasn't busy at all which I didn't understand why. Mohammed was the only barber. I told him what I wanted and not did he cut it the way I want it, he did much better. He's clipper skill was right on point. It's hard to find a permanent barber, but I think I found mine from this place. Will repeat!!! read more

Highly recommend these guys! In town for a wedding this weekend and Jake cleaned up my fade and lined up my beard. Tons of compliments at the wedding. The straight razor finish was a nice touch. Awesome experience with Jake and Moh. Do yourself a favor and stop by the shop. Didn't have to wait at all and parking is easy in the lot behind the shop. read more

I needed a haircut before I went home from work on valentines day, so I left work and went to Luis Barber Shop. I meet Moh the new owner and Luis the old owners and they were great, very friendly and fair. The haircut I got was great and they re-lined up my beard perfectly. He used a straight razor and hot lather to do the back of my neck which was awesome. Their shop was neat and clean. I will be returning and recommending this place to my friends. I've been coming to Luis Barber shop for about 2 years now since moving out of Boston. Mo and Luis keep it simple and clean in a laid back atmosphere, with a neck shave after the cut. I also bring my kid (2 years old) for kids cuts and Mo has toys to keep the kids from being scared. They do a great job and provide a good cut every time. read more
