I had the most bizarre and insulting customer service experience at Floyd's 99 in Woburn. I came to…read moremy appointment on time, and when I was taken to my seat the stylist said she had to cancel the appointment. Intentionally having me come in to tell me the appointment is canceled when they could have called me is blatantly disrespectful and bad business practice. I had made the appointment two days before and was sent a confirmation email and text, which I replied yes to and confirmed a day beforehand. To add insult to injury, when the stylist was asked why she didn't call me to cancel, she claimed she wanted to be respectful and tell me in person! Take your business elsewhere. Reply to business manager: The appointment could have been cancelled beforehand, and there were ample opportunities to do so, including when I checked in at the frontdesk. I was told that it was "more respectful to tell me in person". Why disrespect my time and make me come in, wait 10 minutes, and then sit me in the barber chair to tell me that my appointment is cancelled? It's simply bad business practice.

What I appreciate is that he was attentive as I was explaining what I wanted, even though it's the busy season. I did a walk-in and recently moved here from CA for school so was trying to find a good barbershop. Found their page on Yelp, and found their Instagram and decided to take the risk of going to a new barber. Woburn Barbershop did not disappoint! I loved how clean the shop was, and I felt great energy from all the barbers and staff. Darren made me feel so welcomed and made sure my cut came out sharp. Super satisfied with my experience here, and will definitely use their online appointment system next time!
