For the initial phone call, the representative spoke at me for at least 25 minutes, asking a ton and a ton of questions. This was overwhelming and caused me to grow disengaged before I even scheduled services. In a way, I felt that they were trying to upsell me before I even decided on a service, which felt a little suspicious to me. In addition, they put me on their email, text, and call list, so within a span of a week, I received at least 2 follow-up texts, 3 e-mails, and 1 phone call from someone asking me what I thought about the quote and to schedule with them before their schedule books up. I was in the process of booking this company for cleaning services, unfortunately the customer service I received deterred me from doing it. The person I spoke to repeatedly asked the same question, and when I questioned her inability to document my information correction, she (name unknown) hung up on me. Foolishly, I called back, still willing to give them a chance, until I realized that her unprofessionalism was a reflection of this company. I used this cleaner several times with no problems. However, the last time, there was some kind of reaction between my wood floor cleaner and their wood floor cleaner. It left lots of spots on my kitchen floor, and they said that I must have left water sitting there for a long time. ( why would i do that?) They sent out a guy who inspected it and said he would check with their office as to what to do.( I am not sure what his qualifications were.) They, of course, said it was not their fault, and they would not fix the problem. read more

Tried to book with them and the person kept changing the price. This was frustrating because we really did want to book with them. But when the price is brought down from $700 to $130 and suddenly a little later is $180, I think they just make up the price based on the customer and not the job. read more

They were not thorough on their cleaning. Dust all over the floors and under chairs. Window sills dirty. Blinds not dusted and dirty, mouse droppings found on the carpets and they did not vacuum three areas in the bedrooms. There were areas in bathrooms also missed. My family from out of town was planning to stay in the house but they had to book another place to stay at the last minute during Christmas, which was very stressful because they had small children. When I called to discuss this, I spoke with Jennifer who said she would make it right and had taken over for another person who was no longer there. I told her I would wait for a while and call her when the house was ready to come back and clean. I was only expecting them to clean the areas they missed the time before. When I called to schedule the clean, and offered to pay for additional cleaning so that they did not have to make a trip without compensation, I got another new person, who told me that Jennifer was no longer with the company. Apparently this company has a lot of turnover at their head position. They do not keep their promises. They made a lame excuse that they don't have any time to do a "one time cleaning" and that I only had 24 hrs to respond anyway ( news to me, this was never said prior) and remedy the cleaning. This was an entirely different story. Bottom line: Their work is not good. They don't stand by their work or their promises. My advice is to hire another company who will. read more

Endless phone tag, countless emails, wish washy estimates done via email, all offers have undisclosed parameters, you can only book over the phone...all so very inconvenient for working folks. When you finally try to set up an appointment they will only do so after you give them your credit card information. I know of no other businesses that collect your credit card before they ever do any work. read more

Unreliable. They cleaned for us for a few months. Though the results were never spectacular, it helped to keep the house at least somewhat under control with an infant in the house. I told them over and over that cleaning appointments cannot be before 4 pm because my baby had a nap. Every single time they would show up at 3:15 or 3:30. I politely reminded them that this does not work for us. This last time I get a text that my cleaning is scheduled for 3:45 tomorrow. I texted back that okay, but not earlier than 4. No reply. No response whatsoever. They didn't show up and nothing was heard from them. I was flexible with them when they wanted to clean a week earlier due to a holiday the next weekend and such, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt one time they didn't show without any word -fit to a move out cleaning as I learned later, but I guess I wasn't flexible ENOUGH to keep me as a customer. We have used Jordan at Bellos to clean for us several times now. She is absolutely excellent and caring. The problem with this company is the management team's poor communication with clients. As an example, yesterday my cleaner was not yet here 2 1/2 hours after her scheduled arrival time due to still being at another assigned cleaning job. The Bellos management team did not see the need to notify me of the late arrival. I tried calling Bellos several times but no one was available to answer the phone. This is a totally unacceptable business practice for customers who are trying to build trust and a long term relationship with this company. This lack of consideration as to how to properly treat customers ruined the remainder of our day. We were planning on having guests that evening but due to the late arrival of the cleaner due to no fault of hers we had to cancel our guests as there was no time to prepare. Very very disappointed in their management style. After a cleaning job is done the company quickly asks for a rating on the job performance of the cleaner(s). They do not, however ask for a review on the company in general. read more
