I took my daughter to get manicures and pedicures, had an appointment, but we ended up waiting in the pedicure chairs for at least 20 minutes before they finally started on my daughters feet, and I was at least another 15 minutes behind her. After they finished my daughter's toes they took her to the other side of the salon to start working on her nails, and I noticed they did not clean the bowl, just replaced the liner. Red flag. Two weeks later and my feet have been itching and burning, telling me they infected me with some sort of foot fungus. Absolutely disgusting and unsanitary practices, and being busy is not an excuse for this. My pedicure itself was fine, but definitely rushed the services in general after making me wait. I went over to get my nails done and they had already pretty much finished my daughter's nails. They had done gel on her and a design without asking me first, which they charged me extra for. I would have liked them to ask me for permission before doing this, not my almost 7 year old. For myself on my manicure, I asked for builder gel extensions with a cat eye effect, but she forgot to do the magnet to get the effect before curing it so it didn't come out how I wanted. And rushed me through the whole process. She didn't get the gel on my thumbs close enough to the cuticle and they ended up looking like I already had a week of grow out and was in need of a fill just a week after having them done. I feel like my nails are still looking "fresh". The appointment process on their website was so easy and I actually prefer this method. I absolutely hate making phone calls. When you make an appt, you'd get reminder emails and texts which is super helpful. Also worth mentioning: I had to prepay for my service when I booked the appt. I didn't mind doing this. I just ended up getting cash for tip for the day of. The location is fairly easy to find with GPS even though I drove past it and has to make a u-turn but that was my fault for not paying attention. The salon is located downstairs.
