I have been going to Belleza Salon the past 6 months. First let me start with the stylist. Between my daughter and i we have seen 3 stylist for various proceedures. Each has been extremely professional and polite. My color and cut has been beautiful each time. My daughter has also had her hair straigtened. I was very nervous about this. The stylest took her time explaining what they were going to do and making me comfortable. Once it was done she spent as long as we needed to explain the care. We absolutly loved the outcome and will never do this anywhere else. Now to service. I have been to many salons and I would put the service at Belleza up against them all. The stylist always go out of there way to make it feel like a special experience. A few weeks ago my daughter went to another salon to get a spray tan (it was a HOT MESS) she had a huge event the next night and was devastated. I was at Belezza getting my hair done telling the stylist the story. She told me to go get my daughter and bring her in. The girls at the salon spent over 30 minutes "fixing" the mess another place had made. Then just to make her feel extra special they did her makeup. By the time we left she felt like a princess and i owe that to the very special girls at Belleza. In this day and age there are not alot of places that would have cared, they did. i have never taken the time to right a review although i read them. I felt that quality and service like this should be recognized. read more

I call ahead and book with my favorite (sorry but I'm not giving her name out for fear I won't ever get her again). I don't know what problems the other person had, but that is not typical of the person I see there. I think it's also good if you can say what type of hair you have to the front desk when scheduling so they can pair you with the right stylist. They have people there who specialize in different textures, lengths, etc. Also- I've learned that the following can be invaluable regardless of where you go... Bring in pictures of what you want (at least 3-5 and talk this over BEFORE you begin anything) Their hair may have a different texture than yours so you need to bring more than one. Explain how short you want to go by lifting your hair up to that length (and why you can't go any shorter-- ex: you need to put your hair in a ponytail) State how long you can spend on your hair for maintenance (5 minutes is completely different from 15) I've found these helpful because my hair is crazy wavy and to try to get it tamed is a nightmare. I've learned that to explain this to a stylist usually requires more than words- and pictures as well as a point of reference goes a long way to getting a good cut and style. read more

I am unsure of what happened to Zac but the place is ALWAYS packed. Both my daughters and I have been going there for a while now and we have never been disappointed. Cuts, colors, highlights, lowlights, updos... the works. One time my daughter went in for an updo for a school dance and she had her friend with her. The manager did an updo for her friend pro bono because she felt bad she was just sitting watching my kid get dolled up. I have never had to crawl over cords, chairs or styists. There are plenty of stations for their stylists with ample space for each one and plenty of room to walk through. Furthermore, the counters are not crowded, they are stocked with an assortment of products for their patrons. Not to mention, they do stuff for outside organizations and to help the less fortunate. Its unfortunate that Zac had such a horrible experience. Maybe he was having a bad day or maybe he was pissed at someone who works there but I would not use his review to judge this salon. As with most things, we each have our personal opinions and we need to find out for ourselves by experience. read more

Booked an appointment for a color and cut and in all honesty had no idea what I really wanted and the the woman on the phone (her name was Morgan) was insanely patient and helpful with figuring out exactly what I was thinking about and pairing me with a stylist she thought would suit my needs. When I got there I was so nervous (it's my hair!! Most important accessory ever) and I was greeted immediately and offered a glass of wine! My stylist was with me about 5 minutes later and she was INCREDIBLE. She was so creative and helpful with picking out the perfect color that I hadn't even thought of and she was so easy to talk to. Ps. The scalp massage was to die for. When I was checking out the front desk person gave me a new client card which I feel everyone should know about so I got 40% off my new shampoo for being a new customer. My next visit I get 25% off and then my 3rd visit I get a free hair cut. LOVE free stuff. I would HIGHLY recommend Belleza to any AND everyone. I started coming here a couple months ago after getting tired of great clips butchering my hair. Kara was the first stylist I had and she does an excellent job on my hair. The cost is a little more than going to great clips but I'm willing to pay a little more for quality service and a perfect hair cut. She always remembers how I want it cut. She has a great personality and we have pleasant conversations. People have told me that the price is to much for them to pay for a hair cut. Well then go to great clips and come out looking like someone just cut your hair with a hedge trimmer. If I want a good steak then I go to Ruth's Chris, not Texas road house. If I don't like the price then I stop going to Ruth's Chris. I'm a guy so most people think it's funny that I go to a salon to get my hair cut. Well a persons hair is usually the first thing they notice. I need to look professional when I'm at work so I don't want a 2 grade hack job done to my hair. If I could sum up my experience with Belleza in one word it would be: PERFECT! My bridal party and I couldn't get over how cute the salon was. We loved that we had our own "Bridal area" to relax and watch each other become beautiful. 5 bridesmaids, my mother and I all had our hair and/or make-up done by the Belleza staff. Everyone looked and felt stunning. I have to give a shout out to Amber, we have been friends for about 8-9 years and I always knew she was a stylist and she is absolutely amazing at what she does and to work with. I had my hair and airbrush make up done for my wedding in June. As the Bride, I did trials the week before the wedding to test run my styles and those were a breeze as well. I've never felt so gorgeous before! My hair lasted the entire day thanks to Amber and my make-up was flawless the whole day. I highly recommend Belleze to any new brides that are looking for a stress free-way to look amazing for your big day. I am BEYOND thrilled I found this salon! I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience. I have never had "professional" extensions until now. It's an investment and I wanted to make an informed decision as to which stylist I chose. I'd been toying with the idea of bonded extensions for awhile and finally decided to set up a few consults to find the right fit. I set this one up as my first consult. Amber made me feel so comfortable and at ease that I cancelled my other appointments and decided to book her right then and there. She was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and down to earth! She's a hair goddess and you can tell she is extremely passionate about her art. Amber's associate Noel was amazing too! I was dreading sitting in a chair for five hours but it was honestly more like an afternoon with girlfriends and the time flew by! Not only is the salon itself beautiful but it's a wonderful atmosphere and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. My whole family goes to Belleza Salon we and we all love it. You are always greeted by the friendly staff and offered a refreshment while you wait for your appointment. They carry an awesome selection of hair and beauty products along with great boutique items. Belleza also gives back to the community and has sponsored several of my daughters dance activities. Taylar is the stylist my son and have been going to for a few years now and we love her. She offers great input on the latest trends and keeps us looking good! Best haircuts we have ever had and my son will not let anyone else cut his hair. We can't wait for the barber shop to open in September. I have been going to Belleza Salon for a year now and I love it! Krysta has done my wedding hair, military ball hair/makeup, and has been my stylist in the last year. Coming from a small town where my best friend was my hairdresser I was very nervous to try someone new and that I didn't know. Krysta is so sweet and always gives me exactly what I want. It's not only a good hair experience but a very relaxing one too. I feel spoiled everytime I enter Belleza. I have also gotten spray tanned for my wedding and it was flawless. My bridesmaids and mother all looked gorgeous for my wedding and our experience on the wedding day was wonderful complete with drinks! I am SO sad to be moving out of state in the next few months where I will, yet again, have to find a new beauty salon and stylist. I have been going to Belleza Salon for quite some time and I love my hair stylist. She knows what I always want done when I come in. She picks the right hair color for my skin tone and the cut and style for my age and face and believe me I am very picky when it come to my hair whether it be a cut or color. I have recommended her to all my friends and quite a few go to her and Belleza Salon for the hair and pedicure needs. I have never had a bad expierence working with the front desk setting up appointments or having to change appts. So if you are looking for a stylish to take care of you with a beautiful smile, knows what she is doing, gives a great head massage after shampooing - ask for Lindsey. She is the best. After a terrible experience with one of the stylists, Olivia, and after I posted a bad review on her, I received a personal call from Karen, who works at the reception desk and leads continued education at the salon. She apologized for my unfortunate experience and offered to work with another stylist, Jade, to correct the color for no charge. At first, I just talked to Jade and discussed her strategy to correct the color. She was very attentive and answered all my questions and concerns. She appeared to be a great stylist and a perfectionist. She worked for 5 hours to turn my brassy orangish hair into perfect icy blond with a grey base color. She was funny and easy to talk to, and I appreciated her cooperation with Karen, who provided advise during the whole process. I absolutely love my color, it was hard to achieve, but Jade did an outstanding job! read more

I Love Belleza!!! I live in Ladue so it is quite a drive to get there, but worth every minute. My stylist is Lauren who is wonderful and does a great cut whether short or long hair. She is also amazing with color and highlights. I enjoy my visit each time. Lauren also cuts my sons hair. In a crunch I have had to go elsewhere and was totally disappointed. She does the sweetest little guy cuts. I have also had experience with a lot of the other staff there. The esthetician, makeup artist, and spray tanner were also great. It's pretty much a one stop shop. It's cozy and welcoming inside. They have amazing product lines and so much to choose from. I would recommend this salon to anyone. I don't have experience with all the stylists, but Lauren is great, curteous, and patient. read more

Belleza Salon and Amber Walters are amazing! Been going there for 5+ years and couldn't be happier! When I started going there I was having a lot of issues with my hair breaking off and not growing. Robyn and Amber both took the time to figure out what was happening and get me back on track. At times I was very upset and felt hopeless but they handled me with kid gloves and took great care of me. They were wonderful listened to me and really truly cared, feels like family! Have also taken my girls there for homecoming, prom etc for hair and make up and everytime they have loved it! Everyone is completely professional and welcoming and the salon is beautiful.... I recently moved to the area and dreaded trying to find a new stylist. Especially with my wedding day coming up and I'm very particular about my hair! It's long, thick and VERY curly so it hard to manage and style correctly! Went in for a practice run and was given Krysta as a stylist. I explained my concerns and she totally listened and understood! We tried a couple different looks and I LOVED THEM! I knew when I came back in for my wedding day, she would be the one I'd use and I even had her do my daughter's hair cause it's the same way! I have been going to Belleza Salon for over a year and have never had anything but wonderful, professional service. I leave loving my hair and have never had an issue with bad color or a bad cut. Granted I do not have hair extensions and my hair stylist moved to Belleza from another salon. I was well aware of what I was getting when I switched to Belleza. I feel the need to defend this Salon to some extent because the service is great, they have expanded to provide more services including message, body wraps, clothing and bare minerals makeup. My hair is very hard to cut without looking terrible. Because of this, I have to see a stylist who knows how to cut very fine, straight, collicky blond hair. Any mistake shows all to easily. I've been seeing Taylar for about 6 months, and she's great. She remembers things we talk about, she's very down to earth, and I've always walked out with a top notch haircut. She is really good at scalp massages when she shampoos my hair! I just want to take a nap when I'm there! Today, she was helping to train a newer stylist, Carey, and she was also very fun to be around. The front desk lady (Morgan is who i seem to always have assist me) is also very sweet. Being new to the area a few years ago, I was so glad to finally find a great salon for myself and my preteen daughter. Belleza is now under new ownership since summer of 2009, and the changes are very evident in their new salon located in front of the O'Fallon YMCA, off of Hwy K. The atmosphere is bright, clean, and trendy, without paying over-the-top salon prices. Ample parking, and hair products (with special offers/discounts). Many qualified stylists to choose from and salon receptionists are always friendly and helpful. They also offer Botox services; appointment reminder calls are very much appreciated; I believe walk-ins are welcome; their clients include men, women and children of all ages. read more

I have been coming here for a couple of years now. I have always requested Aly. I will not go anywhere else! I feel so safe and comfortable here. The place and clean and very pretty. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the appearance and atmosphere of the salon. Aly is a fantastic at her job. She has a true talent when handling hair. Aly is incredibly kind along with the staff. They truly care about their clients. I highly recommend everyone to come here at least once. If its not for you that's okay, but I always look forward to my visits! When you go once, it's hard not to go back. I am so grateful that I can come here and feel so beautiful after!
