A convenient parking lot near the Bellevue tower. Especially for weekends and evenings - $5 for 12 hours. Considerably large parking lot. Easy in and out. Highly recommend this place if you are around this area. read more

Service was fine at Woods Coffee and The Container Store; not great, not bad. I was happy that Woods Coffee had Kombuchas for sale, and my Kombucha that I bought there was pretty good. The price was decent for it too, Kombuchas are not super cheap even when buying them at the grocery store, so for a coffee shop in a mall-like area I was satisfied with the price for it. I drink Kombucha often. I love the Container Store, and I could spend hours in there. The selection was excellent. However, despite my enjoyable browsing, I just bought a load of white cardboard boxes that I had pre-ordered to make a maze/playhouse for my cat. I thought his maze/playhouse would look much nicer if I used white cardboard boxes that do not have labels all over them, rather than brown cardboard amazon boxes. Service and selection at the Paper Source were both outstanding. That was my favorite store that I visited here. I bought several items there, and felt super relaxed and welcome while in that store. Gigantic tunnel of parking - and crazily busy all of the sudden as Sunday got later - maybe students crash studying for Monday. Okay enough about the parking. Love the art, both the public and the student art pasted inside. Meeting spaces, event space. The library itself is down the rather cavernous hallway - the library itself feels pretty gigantic; enjoyed browsing the suggested new titles on offer. The used book store appendage outside the main doors was open this time around during my visit. I wish they took more than just cash or check. Could not partake : ( I saw tons of appealing books and also they had puzzles and puzzle books. A great place to spend a couple of hours in Bellevue.

They all say the same thing, it's out of their hands, it falls under the jurisdiction of the authorities, like handicapped parking. Ok, that's mostly true, however, they have a right to put warning stickers on the vehicles that are in violation. I've seen it done. I finally talked to the ladies at the information desk in Bellevue Square, they gave me a biz card with an email and phone number. I sent an email, a man named Eric Pohle or Polke responded, he attached the law and a warning card in his response. He told me that security puts these warnings on the vehicles in violation and then they call the authorities. Well, that has not been my experience at all. It happened again last weekend. I stopped security, same story, they can't and don't do anything in this situation. I read him the email from Eric and showed him the warning. He said he's never seen that warning and called a supervisor over. 20 minutes later a young man who goes by "T" showed up. I read him the email and showed him the warning. He said yes, those cards are all way over on the other side of the Bellevue Collection and he doesn't have time to get them. In other words, he doesn't have time to do his job. Well, this woman will be spending her money elsewhere. Establishments that take my complaint seriously.

The greatest thing about this lot is its location, diagonally across the street from the Egyptian theater, which plays cool SIFF movies all year round. It's across from the back of the Broadway Performance Hall, and close to the south end of the Sunday Broadway Farmers' Market. That's a pretty cool spot in a cool neighborhood. The parking spaces are a mix of sizes. The compact spaces are for _really_ small cars. They were kind of tight for my old Corolla, and close to useless for my newish Camry; I almost have to climb out a window unless I'm next to a tiny car. The regular spaces on the entrance level are fine, but pretty much always full any time you'd need a paid lot instead of street parking. The roof spaces seem a bit cramped, even the regular sized ones. (Plus they're out in the weather.) The real winner spaces are down in the depths: large enough for any reasonable sized car, and usually not full. The aisles are pretty good too. There are a few tight spots, but they're not a crazy squeeze unless someone foolish decides to try to pass you right there. Another nice thing about access is that there's an extra exit at the bottom, and several walking exits, including one with an exit-only gate onto Pine Street. A frequent problem with some hidden spaces in busy neighborhoods is that they're sometimes used for bodily functions that are often reserved for customers only. The northeast stairs are not immune, but it's rare that the pee smell is strong. Finally, the price is nice. Sure, it's not five bucks any more -- they raised it to ten a couple of years ago. But it's a good price for the location, and a really nice price for walking downtown if you have time for the walk.
