Our family has been at Primrose DTC for four years. Compared to other daycares / schools we have experienced and seen, this facility stands out not only in the education we have experienced, but the personal touch and communication from ownership and administration. Rick (owner) and Ashley (Director) will continuously update parents of school happenings, illnesses, etc. Primrose also uses a Tadpoles app that lists the daily lesson plan, and provides details of activities the class is doing. My favorite is getting photos/videos added by the teachers throughout the day. Another nugget that always impresses me is families are greeted by name at the front desk, whether it's Rick, Ashley, or any of the front desk staff. How they can remember each child and parent's name is beyond me, but is a great touch.  We also have also noticed low teacher turnover of primary classroom teachers - we have seen so many familiar faces throughout our four years! When there is any movement that affects our child's classroom, we are notified via email very timely (again - great communication). The building and exterior are always clean and attended. You will also find Rick outside putting down ice melt, shoveling and even assisting to clear windshields in snow storms. The building is also secured well, which gives us added peace of mind. There are also many extra activities available that can be fit into the daily schedule to help give the children exposure - soccer, Tots (basketball) and dance are a few. During the summer, the school also provides "Splash days" for the kids to cool off once a week.  The only wish that we have is that the school would be expanded to include a kindergarten class.

My children attended Primrose from April 2021-August 2026. While we would have loved to finish out our time with this school, we no longer had confidence in their wellbeing. My recommendation to all parents in their daycare search is to visit the Colorado Shines website.

As a first time mom everything is new to me the teachers are so helpful and wonderful. What I exactly like the school is her class has all different age children and all the toys are educational. At home I talk to her only Mongolian. 3 months ago she does not say a word in English now she is speaking with sentences. Her drawing skill improved amazing she can color without any mess and make perfect circle. Sorry that I come late but I saw the teacher Ms Sonali. She is just amazing very well prepared all the lesson and everyday has something to surprise. When I ask how well she is doing and eating her lunch all teachers knows what exactly she did. My baby is sometimes very stubborn when teachers ask to go potty she says no. They were very patient and she had accident no more 3 times. They are non profit organization so you can have some tax deduction on tuition fee. Personally I am very picky person but never happy more than that. Absolutely recommend this school. Our son has had Mrs. Andrea for his main teacher for last year and this year and we just adore her. She was MADE to teach! Her enthusiasm and passion in the classroom shows in our sons smile to be with her! The curriculum is rigorous but they create it to be intuitive and child-guided... light years above any other curriculum we saw moving to the Denver area. We've seen our sons critical thinking and problem solving skills soar in this staffs hands. If only we could keep him there for 1-12 too. Thank you, RMA for making our kiddos education truly unparalleled.

I felt compelled to write a review about my experience with this school and my infant son. We…read morestarted in the Nido room with Miss Julie as the lead teacher in October 2020 when son #2 was three months old. He was there for 11 short weeks and my experience here with the teacher and the program was terrible. I can not recommend this school, teacher or program to anyone looking for a Montessori program. Just for some context, Child #1 was enrolled in a Montessori program from 16 months to 4 years. My child's needs were not meant at any point while he attended this school and he would cry at the center most days. When I would pick him up, he was very upset. I completely feel that he was neglected most days (because he would cry all day and no one wanted to deal with him). The teacher would never follow his cues and would never get down and play with any of the babies. It did not seem like the lead teacher enjoyed being with the babies at any point. The lead teacher wanted all the babies to follow the same schedule and became very stressed and overwhelmed if they were not on a the same set schedule daily. When I was approached by the teacher about his excessive crying after about 5 weeks, I was told that he "needed to be checked out by a dr for acid reflex because he is so upset." He was evaluated by two drs and he was NEVER diagnosed with any health issues. He would never show signs of acid reflex at home. I have a ton of regret that I didn't pull the baby out of this day care earlier. It was a terrible environment, not nurturing or fostering in his development. I also feel like he was behind on some development milestones because no one worked with him on tummy time or practicing rolling over because they didn't want to deal with him. He is currently at a different Montessori day care and all these "issues" that the baby had at this school have failed to show up in a different program around other teachers and staff. I feel compelled to let other parents know about my experience; as I realize that after my feedback to the school about my experience in this room, no changes have been made. If you have a baby that requires a bit more attention, likes to be held and nurtured, this may not be a good fit.

I just called to get information on this center, as I am fed up with my current one and am looking…read moreto move my 2 year old daughter as quickly as possible. Based on the interaction I had with the Center Director, this center appears to have everything I'm looking for: good curriculum, multiple options for classrooms in my daughter's age group to allow for flexibility should issues arise with classmates (we currently have an issue with a little girl who scratches my daughter multiple times a week, but there is nothing they can do to separate them because there is nowhere else for either of these girls to go), reasonable rates (comparable to what I'm already paying for the shit show of a center my child is at now), a flexible tuition payment schedule, and best of all, low staff turnover. I will be scheduling a tour this week just to see it in person, but I already have my heart set on Orchard Valley. I will update this review after my daughter has spent some time there. PS: It's disheartening to see that this center has such a low rating, especially since they have two 5 star reviews sitting there, but in the "non recommended" section. Convenient. And the 1-star review for simply hearing music from your patio while they're outside? Give me a break. Unless your patio is literally adjacent to their outdoor space, I think you're exaggerating a bit.

We are so impressed with Orchard Valley. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Each of the classrooms have bright colors and lots of toys. Communication is great, as they send a weekly email and even daily updates on how your child did. The one and only reason this isn't a five star review is there seems to be staffing issues. I know this isn't the teachers' fault, but from time to time they struggle to have enough teachers in each classroom and can sometimes combine classes if a teacher is sick or has a day off. Otherwise, I would highly recommend Orchard Valley Learning Center.

I 100% do NOT recommend this preschool simply because of the director Terra. My 4 year old son who…read moreis now 5 started going to RMP last year around October(2025). My ex husband had my son start going here while I moved to Colorado so him and his wife interacted with Terra at first. When I was finally able to move here in December of 2025 and have my son move back in with me, I was told that Terra has terrible communication skills and that she will either get back to you when she wants or not at all. I've been working as a preschool teacher for over 10 years so I thought that had to be ridiculous. There is no way a director can act like that. Earlier this year she wanted to have a meeting with me about my son and his behavior. I was thrilled because I haven't really had to communicate with her much and my son has been going through so much and putting his teachers through a lot. I was more than willing to talk it out and we did. I ended up getting him tested and he was diagnosed with autism. So as I was told by my son's new therapist I sent Terra two emails about coming up with a plan for him to help him and the teachers out. Crickets from her. But if I wrote her about another subject not pertaining to my son's autism she would reply back the same day. In May of this year I decided to pull him out of the school. And guess what? She replied extremely fast when it came to withdrawaling my son's enrollment. I'm also not a big fan of them not reporting everytime they lose a child or I guess I should say everytime they misplaced a child. They got caught earlier this year with a child wondering around in their parking lot but I know about the kids who got locked out in the playground or left in the bathroom this year. Again, because I've been a preschool teacher for so long these HAVE to get reported. Something has to be done. But instead I guess Terra decides to sweep it under the rug. I think that's BS and actually scary because you never know if it could be your child next. On the plus side, my son adores his two teachers that he has right now and I'm so sad to have to take him away from them but I can not deal with Terra and her lack of professionalism. My son's two teachers are the only reason I added an extra star to the review. When it comes to my child I need clear and concise communication which I have not been getting. I hope Terra can get it together and be a better director. Best wishes to them. Kayla Foreman
