My child attended PCK Preschool and is autistic. While staff were polite, we were repeatedly told…read morethat the program could not offer additional support and that it "wasn't a good fit." The school would not allow his ABA therapist to attend with him, and conversations consistently focused on limitations rather than collaboration or accommodation. Based on our experience, the program appears designed for children who already fit a narrow profile, leaving little room for those who need support. We ultimately chose a school that welcomes our child, works with his providers, and supports his growth--and that decision has made a significant difference.

The PRESCHOOL is way too expensive for the quality and amount of schooling received. basically you…read moreare just paying a lot to have an extra chance to get into kindergarten. I didn't feel like my daughter was receiving any better education than the neighborhood preschool we switched to. The teacher also didn't seem to discipline a kid who kept pushing the other kids on the playground, as it never got resolved. drop off/pickup is a NIGHTMARE. the preschool parents have to work around the regular school pickup/drop off. they won't let you park to pick up your kid if the school is still doing elementary pickup, even if theyre super late and it's preschool pickup time. but yet I'd you're late on other days you have to pay a fee. they have no care for parents schedules. the preschool does not follow rules/guidelines by health department in regards to masks. One good thing, at least in my daughters class, there was a lot of diversity of students!

During my time at this school, I was assigned responsibilities well beyond my role, including…read morecovering ALL kindergarten library times, leading lunch announcements over the microphone, and supervising lunch/recess/hallway lines. Despite these expectations, I received little to no support from the administration. The demands of these responsibilities often conflicted with one another. My coworkers regularly expressed that the lunchroom was difficult to manage without my presence, while I was simultaneously expected to cover all kindergarten library times. This left me feeling like I was expected to be in two places at once and made it impossible to fully meet the needs of either responsibility. The principal rarely interacted with staff and visited my classroom only once every couple of months, often calling me by the wrong name. The vice principal consistently failed to follow through with student discipline and frequently required educational assistants to apologize for appropriately enforcing school expectations. Student behavior was often managed inconsistently. I was told by a kindergartener that the vice principal had given them a phone to watch TikTok. In another concerning situation, a fourth-grade female student who reported being punched in the stomach by a male classmate was allowed to decide whether her parents would be informed. Too often, it felt as though students, rather than staff, were in control. School administrators would often reprimand staff for not awarding Golden Tickets to students whenever a parent complained, even when those students had not demonstrated the appropriate behavior to earn the recognition that day. This created inconsistency in the school's behavior management system and undermined staff members' professional judgment. Instead of teaching students appropriate coping skills, conflict resolution, or self-regulation strategies, disruptive behavior was frequently rewarded with toys or playtime in the office. This approach undermined classroom expectations and made it difficult to maintain a safe, respectful learning environment. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this school as a workplace due to the lack of administrative support, unrealistic workload expectations, inconsistent discipline practices, and overall school culture. Lastly, my child attended this school and was not consistently challenged with work that matched their abilities or academic potential.

I cannot say enough good things about this school. We moved to Parker a few years ago and left…read morebehind a wonderful school in our prior hometown. GRE has exceeded all of our expectations. Dr. Brown, the principal, is so invested in her school, the teachers, and the students. The front office staff is wonderful and friendly, and every teacher my kids have had here (3rd through 5th grade) has been fantastic. The PTO is likewise supportive and involved without being clique-ish and overbearing. This place is truly the BEST.
