Tiered pull-through sites
A M.

I really enjoy staying here, though my husband doesn't always like parking the rig (sloped entries on some sites). Love the quiet and location. Love even more that cell reception isn't great Wonderful for walking around. Lots of pull-through availability.

Overview of the new campground section
Scott M.

We recently stayed at Bellefonte KOA and very much enjoyed our visit. I am rating it a 4 only because some sites are not very level, and require a 4-5 foot incline to enter the sites. There are 2 sections of the campground the old and new section. The old section has lots of trees and close sites, where the new section is much more open with no trees. The new section also has fairly level sites. Pool, bounce pad, pavilion, and restrooms were all clean and orderly. Staff was friendly, and there was a camp store however it only has the basics, so plan on having all that you need. We had a nice pull through site in the new section but our class A bus does have a lower ground clearance, so we had to back in to avoid hitting the rear bumper.

The campground is on a hill, so some of the spots have a little hill that goes up at the base then the area is leveled for your RV. The fire ring was a little too close to the little hill on our site, and I was afraid someone's chair would flip back. The campground otherwise was clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Nice pool.

There are over 20 acres to explore. A catch and release pond, large playground, canoes, laundry, clean restrooms, hiking trails all around, and firewood available for fires. Nice level sites with full hookups. They have a few cabins and the tent campsites are tucked in the trees. Here the tent campers are tossed together off to the side. One of the cabins is is overlooking the pond and very private. The owners are friendly and provided us with a small map to explore the area. Elk were all over as we drove to the Elk Visitor Center. So, one night turned into 3 nights and we have plans to stop here on our way back the first of October. Highly recommend you put Woodland Campground on your list of great campgrounds. UPDATE: just left the campground this morning! Another great 3 nights here. The color around the pond this morning was gorgeous.

A hidden gem! This campground is absolutely beautiful and clean. The manager is friendly and…read morehelpful.

Was in a mild panic in that it was March and I had not booked a site for our Memorial Day camping…read moreexcursion. I took a chance, called and got ahold of Kelly (who is awesome by the way). She put me at ease when she said that her tent sites were still available! I immediately booked 3 sites. Fast forward to arrival 5/22/15. As you can see, the tent sites are across the canal from the hustle, bustle, dust and noise of the RV'ers (no offense intended) in what is truly a grove. The space is very large and, because sunlight can still get through the trees, the ground is covered with...wait for it....grass! Not your standard Rv hook up site that doubles as a tent site with a gravel plot. The grove was large, we could put our tents just about anywhere, could move the fire ring around to get a different vantage, etc. So, all that to say that the tent site grove is awesome. Bath house: One should always come with low expectations esp on Mem Day weekend. As with the tent grove, I was very pleasantly surprised. There is a hard, plastic, grid type array on the floor so no walking on the tile (for those who forget flip flops this is very well received). Coin operated showers? Yes and I love the idea! First, it helps defray some cost and, at .25 per 12-15 minutes, c'mon, stop your griping. Second, it moves the stragglers along. The Mem Day community at W'side was generally very quiet. We did not have 1 instance of late night craziness. The town has a DQ which was a great distraction. We took advantage of the proximity to PSU, visited and went to the Creamery. See their website for the other things to do in and outside the grounds. Be warned....the railroad does run right along the northern part above the tent grove and, it is close. You will believe the train is coming right at you. But once you get used to this it becomes white noise. 5 Stars! We'll be back.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I honestly wish I could give this…read moreplace 0 stars I have been going here for years but this years travel was different... we were told by a family member they have been rumored to be remodeling the women's bathroom but other than that we were NOT told any further information so we get there and they said we had to use the male bathroom for showering and using the toilets however there were not toilets in the men's bathroom either !!!! So we called to negotiate the price since there were no toilets only a stinky port a potty the lady who talked to us first was rude but then she said "would you like to talk to the owner?" so we said yes and she said " we monitor every call and EVERYONE was told we had no bathrooms you guys are liars and you can pull out if you want no refunds" and the HUNG UP worst customer service ever do not go here it's horrible.

My fiancé and I travel around the US for his job and we stayed there for about 2 months. We paid for our 3rd month the day rent was due on the 13th of the month. Anticipating we were staying for another month, that wasn't the case. We got a call on the 14th saying we needed to be in a different state by the 15th, so we called the office asking if we could get not all, but some money back because it was the day after we paid $750. The office didn't even hesitate to say "no we just can't do that, we don't do refunds", we would understand if we stayed two more weeks into the month but... a day after? Really. That's a little absurd. I highly don't recommend this campground.
