I've been going here for at least 10 years and have never been disappointed. Yesterday, I realized that my nails were an absolute disaster. I've been going through some physical and emotional stuff, so my nails were not a priority. But I called Belle Visage up and they took me in last minute. I held back crying the entire time as my legs and hands got the best massage and care ever. I don't know if she sensed my pain or not, but it meant more to me than anyone could possibly imagine how much care and attention she provided. I left feeling human again. I am 18 weeks pregnant with very sensitive skin & thick, coarse hair and have never in my 20+ years of waxing ever had such a pain free/excellent service as I did with Kim. My only issue is that I haven't seen her sooner. I received a full leg, Brazilian and underarm wax with impeccable results. Please take my advice and see her. After my massage I decided to book a mani/pedi afterwards. A Ukrainian lady did my nails. She was so fast! And all she did was gossip. She didn't scrub my feet or my nails. She also barely cut my cuticles and when she did she cut me. It looked like she used one of those nail care kits from CVS. Plus, she didn't massage my feet. My mani was just as bad. She didn't scrap off the cuticle that over growns nor did she cut them. A couple of my fingers were bleeding. I should have just left. In total she did a mani and pedi in 20min. She didn't take her time at all. I'll go back for massages with Karen, but I'll never get my nails done there again. read more

We had incredibly disappointing service here. I made an appointment for two three year olds to get manicures as a special treat. When I called, the individual I spoke to was happy to schedule an appointment for two kids this age. When I got there, we were ignored. We waited 25 minutes past our scheduled appointment for a manicurist to be available. And even when someone was available, she didn't want to paint the girls' nails, but she would not tell us why. We kept saying, "Can you please tell us what the problem is?" The two 3 year olds were perfectly behaved--quiet, happy, and patient. I would have left if the girls hadn't had their hearts set on manicures. Finally, I sat my kid in a chair and pleaded for someone to just quickly put some polish on her nails. Someone finally did, and it took 5 minutes. Both kids behaved perfectly while getting their nails done. I'm just glad the kids didn't realize they were being treated so poorly. read more

Stacey and Anne were so helpful to me on the day of my reception after the place next door goofed on my hair and makeup appointment. It was a Sunday and it being 2pm with pictures taking place at 430, we were really in a bind. I was in today for a manicure with Tea. She did an excellent job - I'm really happy with how my nails look. I also got my brows done by Sophia. She did a good job as well. I received the gift of a massage from Belle Visage and finally got around to going today. I should have known I was in for it when I called at 10am and they had the entire evening open for massage appointments, not to mention the receptionist did not even ask what kind of massage I wanted. First impression when I walked in- this place is a glorified nail salon. The entire front of the place is nail booths and pedicure stations. They stuck a few treatment rooms in the back and they were tiny! The woman that did my massage did not introduce herself and rushed me to get changed, not to mention there was nowhere to put my clothing once I took it off. The massage table was too narrow and the oil smelled like strawberry syrup- yuck! Then came the massage, which was pretty much on par with the massages that my husband will give me once in a blue moon. Way too much butt action and she massaged my feet, which was nice but so weird since no one ever really does that. The woman was nice when it was over, but the atmosphere and quality were the worst massage experience that I have ever had. read more

I can't review their actual services, only my experience with them in trying to book said services, which has not been positive. My husband gave me a Groupon for eyelash extensions. I booked to use it two days before a weekend trip, and they cancelled the night before because the person who was to do them was sick and not coming in the next day. It was too late to book anywhere else. I still had the Groupon, so I held off and then re-booked two days before a trip to France (because frankly, I don't need them in everyday life). The day before my appointment, they called to cancel because the woman doing the service was sick and wouldn't be in the next day. Two hours later, someone else called me (must not have known someone else had done so) and told me they needed to cancel because they were having an issue with the glue. Neither seemed particularly apologetic. It's too late to rebook anywhere else. Needless to say, I'm not very enthusiastic about using this Groupon. We are going to ask for their money back. Cancellations happen, but two last minute cancellations in a row, once with two different people giving me two different excuses, and both before trips and without enough time for me to find anyone else. I'm not one to write Yelp reviews, but this place is fantastic! To preface all of this: I have terrible nails, and every single manicure I've ever had has chipped within 2-3 days of my manicure (and gel has only ever lasted me 4!). But, I'm a week out from my service and the gel mani-pedi is still going strong! I've been typing, cleaning, picking at stuck-on labels, literally living my typical hard-on-nails life, and it's all still there - unbelievable to me (I'm a little bit in shock..). I will admit, when I arrived I waited a bit for my nail tech to get to me, but once she did it was so worth it. She was humorous, and made the entire experience so much fun. She did a fantastic job on both my hands and feet, didn't make me feel bad about the fact that it had been (quite...) a while since my last mani-pedi. After my lash perm I saw the brochure on their front desk listing "lash perm - $50". I felt so stupid. Really happy I found this place! Sophia is so great at what she does! So far I have only gotten my lashes done, but she has also given me some great skin advice and even some samples to try. She is super thorough and knows how to hit all of the right spots based on where you're feeling pain and need extra love. Your first package is only $59 per Massage which is a steal. I came here a while ago after purchasing a groupon for an eyelash perm and thought I'd share my thoughts now. Though the facility itself is really nice and clean, I found the customer service to be lacking. After the perm was applied to my eyelashes, I could tell something wasn't right because my eyes were BURNING. When it was over I was blind for a good ten minutes..my boyfriend had to escort me to my car. And while all of this was happening, no one on the staff said anything and sort of just left me to fend for myself. In the end, my right eye turned out great and my left eye was a hot mess. With that being said, I'm still giving them 2 stars because it could have possibly been my fault that my eyelashes were botched. read more

For my first time getting a lash lift/ lash perm, it was perfect. Couldn't have gone to a better place. Stacey went over the procedure step by step and made sure I was comfortable during the process. She even checked on me ever so often to see how I was doing as the solution worked it's magic on my lashes. We had a great conversation going and laughed the whole time. Be warned I actually did not receive any treatments here. I write this review out of frustration for there being no screening process when booking a pre-natal massage. I called to book one they said no problem and scheduled me in a few days later. When I arrived the woman showed me to the massage bed which was not a prenatal table. She asked if I could lay on my back for 25 minutes, I told her no, since most OB's suggest not to lay on your back after you hit 25 weeks. The lady told me I could lay on my side for the massage but she wouldn't be able to do my back well. Well, really all I care about is my back, I am 7 months pregnant. I think that is most pregnant women's complaint area. At that point I wasn't going to pay probably $100 for a massage and tip when it wasn't even what I wanted. This place is so well run that it is a pleasure to go there. From the beautiful and gracious Charo at the desk to the fabulous Brooke in the treatment rooms, I have been pampered and soothed. I needed a polish change one day and asked if I could just tack it on to my treatment. No problem. I was lucky enough to catch Rea in between her many clients and what a treat that was. My skin always feels amazing after, my friends also always comment on my facial as soon as I get it done!! I agree with the other reviewers. The massage therapist nails were too long and I thought it was taught in Massage 101 to cut your nails. She also spent way too much time on my buttocks and went up my inner thigh which I also thought was inappapropriate. Went to Belle Visage in Milton Sq. with a gift card. My nail tech cut my right toe! With no apologies or compensation I left! The next day I found a 'flap of skin' hanging from my right heal!!! I had to cut the skin off myself & I've been treating it appropriately!! NEVER AGAIN! I have never been to this place before but I am so glad I finally did. Sophia, the owner, is the most gracious woman I have met. I had booked a spa day and from the time I entered the spa I was very pleased. Sophia administered my facial and I was so relaxed that I was all ready prepped for my massage. Yen is a sweet young lady who performed the massage. I have been to may spas and none have been able to take the pain and tension out of neck like she did! When I was done I went out to have a mani/pedi and served lunch. They even went over to Starbucks for me! Instead of sitting in your typical office chair, I was placed onto a bench/couch type of seating with pillows and the relaxation continued. Bella Visage is extremely clean and the staff are so nice and professional I've all ready recommended it to a friend and will be making this my new routine spa visit! read more
