I took a tire in for repair. Had a screw, that I didn't see earlier, with a slow leak. As I was pulling out I received call and they said they couldn't fix. I returned to get tire, as I was leaving he handed me a paper with prices of new tires. What a scam. I went in for a service that they supposedly provide and they have to try and sell me a tire I don't need for $200. I took the tire home and found my hand tire plugger and fixed the tire after removing the screw. Very disappointing. They lost a long time customer. I spent 40 years in auto factories, the last 18 managing 5 different factories and this is what I discover upon retirement. Yuk read more

YOU DECIDE - reputable or all about the $$$$. SEE PHOTOS. Feb 2022 odometer at 119,500, brakes are fine. July 2022 odometer at 121k and $980 of brake work done. July 2025 and odometer at 131k - so about 10k miles on car in 3 years - and I was just charged $1200 to replace my back brakes. Came in with same problem as July 2022. This time they said they had to remove the parking brake because it was causing the problem. And, now, they want another $382 for front brake work. They also want to replace the right front turn arm for $845 in labor that they replaced 15k miles ago. Currently have about 18k on 2 of my Continental Tires which Belle says are 50k mile tires on the printout I was given, and I am being told I should replace them. THEY ARE HIDING MY COMMENTS ON THEIR POSTS ON FACEBOOK. I can see my posts but the public can't. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My dad and I came a Saturday for 4 new tires. Mine you this service was 735 dollars. For 300$ shy of 1000$ you'd think the tire specialists could install 4 new tires successfully the FIRST TIME, well not here! This is my fourth time returning for the same tires we paid 735$ for. My hard working father, had to remind them now 3, yes- one, two, THREE, times that's a tire change includes a valve stem change because mine were damaged. You think they'd do that on their own, tire specialistS mind you, but no! I had to come on four different occasions for tires because my NEW tires keeps going flat. I think this Bell tire is great! Last week they did a tire repair & it was my 1st time going to this shop. All of them were very friendly & nice. Cristino & Dave both managers I believe were very professional. They got me in & out very quickly, knowing that I was having high anxiety to sit there. They seen some other things that were wrong w/ my car that I didn't even realize had happened from a car accident a year ago, so I scheduled an appt. w/ them for a 2nd visit to get these issues taken care of. They were outstanding in Customer Service, reliability, & speed. I also thought for what they did to my car that they were very fair in their pricing. I had booked an appointment a couple weeks back & they said it would be maybe a 3 to 4 hr. job-they were done in 2. As soon as they were done in that short time, they called me to let me know my vehicle was done. I was really impressed w/ all of the things that I had mentioned prior & now this will be my new place for work to get done, whether it be tires or other things, which they are definitely capable of. Bad service. Really disappointed and I've been a customer for 20 years! I even had my bf get his tires last week from there. They did not call me to tell me my car wasn't ready yesterday and then when I called today and got the store manager he told me he had to wait for my writer to get back from lunch. Did not get a call from John so I called an hour later. He tried to sell me on an alignment package but I'm not going to do that when I dropped the car off on Monday and am not getting until Wednesday and they already sold me on getting four new tires when I only had a screw in one! They also did not call me yesterday to inform me the car wasn't going to be ready until today. I had to call them. I'm pretty understanding that they are backed up and I didn't make a stink about it since I saw a woman get angry last week with them and cause a scene but they definitely lost a 20 year long customer. Came in here last minute last night because I need tire help ASAP. Upon unloading my car I noticed that I had a bump on my tire where it was cracking & I was afraid it would pop. I came here to get it checked out. Allen basically said I should replace it because it could blow out. My two front tires were labeled in the "red" while my back two were labeled "yellow". He said I had no rain traction and they were pretty bare. My other three were cracking as well, the rubber not looking good. So decided my safest bet was to replace them all. Allen was super helpful in telling me what was right for my car & safety. Was extremely helpful in answering my questions. I drive to Virginia tomorrow & they helped me knock it out so I didn't have to worry about driving home unsafe. Now I have some new thicc tires & I feel safe. read more

(Reviewing customer service representative) So of course BT usually have cheapest tire and if I call to get a quote which you did so. Why did I drive there basically for him used the word "BUT" - why are you telling me but anything. You should've asked me all these questions before i gotten there - you didn't even ask me what type of vehicle i was driving. All and all - basically he wouldn't sale me a tire because my other tires weren't in the BT range or something like that. Then he started basically shaming other companies if they sold me one tire for example "it will mess up your transmission" - ok dude i already know that but that only happens if you drive along time and not just a week. **Just because i'm a female doesn't mean i don't know this stuff already. So basically if you are buying all four tires, then great use BT but not then i would highly recommend somewhere else because at the end of the day BT goal is to sale you four tires. Amazing customer service!! Keith was incredibly kind and professional! I had run over something in the middle of the road and popped one of my brand new tires. Luckily the tire was still covered under warranty, so I put on my spare and dropped off my old tire. They had my new tire ready to be picked up by 9am the next day. I also had a warranty on my alignment, so they checked my alignment and were so kind as to put on my new tire and take off my spare for me!! I went to the gas station, and when I got out of my car I heard a hiss. I put my ear to all 4 tires and found the problem. Big screw in the tread of my new tire! I immediately drove to this Belle Tire (during this whole virus craziness) and they took me right away, patched the tire....and did it all for free! They were so polite and the service was so quick, I thought for sure it was going to be at least a $100 fee, but nope! I am very pleased with the service and will be going there from now on, since I know they are not trying to bamboozle or up- sell anyone. It is rare to find honest businesses these days. On Thursday evening 2/16/23 I was on my way home in freezing rain from taking by children to karate class when idiot light came on telling me I had low tire pressure. I looked at all my tires to find that one of them had a nail in it. I looked online to see that Belle Tire was open until 8pm. I arrived there at 7:35pm to find no customers in the lobby and the employees were sweeping up their bays. When I went to the front desk and the man asked if he could help me. I told him what I was experiencing and asked if they could put a plug in my tire. And he told me, "Sorry I cannot help you. You can put air in it and make an appointment for tomorrow. I was so stunned by his response that I just said, "Thanks, but no thanks! I will find another option." I ended up going to Bill Brown Ford where they were more than happy to help me. If you want exceptional service, this is unfortunately not the place to go. I had been buying my tires there in the past, but will be going somewhere else moving forward. Kindness goes a long way and this man just lacks any semblance of it. So, where do I begin... I went in to have an oil change done. Months later, long story short, they put in 3 quarts too much oil. The result was the engine drinking coolant like Kool-Aid, and very nasty burning smell with smoke. After I had another set of eyes look at it, I went in to Belle Tire the next day, for them to own up to their mistake and right their wrong - and they did neither. It is to my understanding that in the past year, management has changed. Most of the guys I recognized, that worked there in the past don't work there anymore. So, the store has become slowly less and less trustworthy. Example: Last summer, I had my AC compressor replaced, so my AC would work. The following week I had to take it back, because the connector that powers the compressor corroded. In order to replace the compressor, they would have had to pull off the connector. Why would they not tell me about it, or just replace it and keep the corroded connector to show me why they did it? Shady. Incompetent at least. Their quality of work is lacking. Their integrity is becoming non-existent. Because of this, I would not recommend going to this Belle Tire location. At least until there is new management, which holds quality work and responsibility for workmanship in higher regard than the current regime does. read more

NOW THIS IS A HOOT and will try to keep it short and sweet...IF IT IS POSSIBLE HAHA!!! Driving by Belle Tire (Middlebelt Rd Livonia) decided to go in and get an estimate on break work and tires. Breaks began squealing and tires definitely needed replacement (like months ago). Yes, I began to become a kind of 'gas and go' type guy until something breaks and I mean BREAK haha. They performed their full break and suspension inspection and Well, they ultimately gave me the "you need breaks all the way around" with all the bells, whistles and trimmings to the tune of $1000 smackers (yes that's right ONE THOUSAND PLUS dollars). They also stated if the caliplers don't need to be replaced it will be half the price. In addition, you also need $1000 + dollars worth of suspension work. I said, "let's do the breaks, order the tires and if calipers are not needed, we can look at doing the additional work. Of course, the calipers were needed. So, we're looking a full break job all the way around and tires. I grudgingly got the work completed and they asked if I want to have the tires placed on the vehicle. I of course said, "yes". I went to pick up the vehicle and found the same ole tires were on the vehicle. I walked in and asked where are my new tires. They explained, we thought you didn't want the new tires. I said to them, "why did we order the tires in the first place if I didn't want them. They began to explain, "it was just a simple miss-understanding". Now here is where it gets thick. I tell them, "well lets order the tires I wanted (and they had supposedly ordered). Here was the answer..."OH!!! We don't sell the tires you wanted. I said, "well what the heck did you show me on the screen and what you ultimately supposed to have ordered". And yes, here goes the same ole same ole answer they gave me previously..."there must have been a miss-understanding. I said, "how can you miss-understand the order you placed while I was standing there right in front of your face looking at the screen. I said, "never mind let's just order some tires and get me the heck up out of here". I picked up the vehicle with new breaks and new tires the next day. I noticed when I press on the breaks it had a bumpy feeling as if there was a warped part or something required adjusting. I called them about the issue and of course they gave me the ole standard answers (through years of practice of course haha). I told them the only thing wrong with my breaks were squeaking and now a $1000 later you tell me and get this..."Well if you fix something sometimes other things may begin to have problems". I said, "you've got to be kidding me". I took the vehicle back and they (of course) said, there was nothing wrong with the breaks, but as a gift, they told me there was ANOTHER additional $1000 problem that required attention on top of the other $1000 dollar repairs I didn't want. Afterwards,I talked to some experts and they all said the same thing exactly "TELL ME YOU DIDN'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO BELLE TIRE" and they also said, "BELLE IS KNOWN FOR ADDING ON MORE AND MORE AND MORE REPAIRS as you go along. Well, I took the vehicle to another repair shop and they took me one item at a time showing me what was wrong overall. For the most part, it was a completely different story on what was needed. Safe to say, I will leave the Belle experts to others...definitely my last time with that organization. Thank goodness for competition...yahoo, happy days are here again hahaha!!! Another thing I heard another Belle advisor say to customer that just didn't sit well. If you purchase a part and have them put it on, you get the part replaced not charge but you have to pay for the labor. From every repair I've ever had, the labor was a very BIG chunk of the cost. Purchased 4 new tires from the Ann Arbor rd. location last year and bought the warrantee with them. A few days ago my instrument cluster tells me I have low air pressure in a tire. Go too work. Come out to a flat tire at 7 pm. Large screw in between the treads. Fill it at work. Drive to this location as it is on the way home. They are open till 8. Joe says hello when I walk in and asks what they can do for me. I tell him the issue. He looks me up on the computer, says have a seat and they will be done soon. 30 minutes later my tire is fixed, no charge and I am on my way home. Forgot to get the technician's name who worked on the tire but he was fast and efficient. GREAT customer service. This is the type of experience that will get passed along. read more

He repaired the puncture and put it back on my vehicle free of charge and all in under 15 minutes. He was very courteous and professional. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!! I have a 2018 Cadillac CTS. Brought it in for alignment. Left the store and my alignment was exactly the same as when I brought it in. I took it to Cadillac dealer the same day and they took care of it stating the alignment was either never checked or their alignment machine is off. I have papers from both shops with specific numbers for alignment. Which shows belle tire did not do the job. I called the store spoke with Mark he said he was the manager. Mark told me I was foolish for thinking I can get a refund. I'm sure the calls are recorded. I did call customer service and they issued me a refund after sending paper work from Cadillac. Please investigate this store. This is unacceptable. Mark had the worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. They were extremely rude the moment I walked through the door: "-what do you want," he barked the moment I walked in. I asked about their oil changed and was told: "that'll be at least a couple of hours." They are upfront about what they are performing and very transparent with you on how much something costs or if there are better options I feel safer taking my car here than over a mom and pop shop. Mainly because I know they have standards they have to meet and I trust their opinion. It's also important to point out I've never been up sold on anything. I would easily give 0 stars, my girlfriends oil light started flashing on the road in Livonia and she couldn't figure out how to open her hood. I texted her to call the local belle tire. They told her they would have to charge her a minimum of $45 just to send a technician to the belle tire parking lot to open her hood for her... I told her to call any other shop knowing they would do it for free, and as a result they got her business from doing something as small and simple as opening a hood. Buffoons! I scheduled everything in advance, including an 8 am appointment on a Saturday morning. I had concerns as to whether a 265 70R 17 tires will fit on a 17 x 9.5" wheel. It seems like a person employed by a tire installation company might be privy to such information right? I was assured that yup no problem i it will fit just fine - no problem. WRONG! after 10 minutes of these fools looking at the factory wheels then the new boxed wheels the the factory wheels then the boxed wheels then scratching their heads they come to the conclusion that they won't fit. The only Saturday I have off for 5 weeks and now on a Saturday it will be impossible to walk into another more competent tire store to get this taken care of. read more
