If you value your car, your money, or your sanity, avoid this mechanic at all costs. I was quoted $250 over the phone, but the moment he saw my car, the price magically doubled to $500. That should've been my warning sign, but what happened next was unbelievable. Apparently, I am not the only person he ghosted mid job. Every part of my vehicle he touched ended up damaged. Hose clamps? Left off completely. Interior trim? Broken. Hood latch? Destroyed. The "repair" he did created more problems than I walked in with, and I had to pay over $800 to a real mechanic just to undo the mess he made. That's not an accident -- that's incompetence on a level that shouldn't be anywhere near a toolbox. And once the damage was done, he vanished. No returned calls, no accountability, no attempt to fix what he broke. Just silence. Based on my experience, this person has no business working on cars. The mechanic, William Armstrong, promised he would send a Bill of Services performed; on the day of service performed; including documentation of proof of purchase for the 3 parts replaced as well as a listing of parts replaced and work performed. He did not send proof of purchase for the parts, he did not send the warranty info, he did not send the Bill of Service performed showing what work was done and details about parts placed, the vehicle information. He was contacted and he stated he would send it by 4/26/2026 and again he did not. The car is not working correctly and we have to have a second mechanic evaluate it and we need the information about what parts he replaced and everything you would normally put on a Service Report. read more

Will is an amazing mechanic. He is honest and very knowledgeable on everything about the car. I was quoted from a Honda dealer for something that wasn't even the issue with my car at all. He ordered the parts fixed. It did everything that was necessary and even followed up to ensure everything was working properly. I asked for business cards to take to work and give to friends. This is not something that is normally done. If you don't respect the service you received I highly recommend will for any car service on any making and model of a vehicle. read more

**UPDATE - MARCH 10, 2026** BEWARE - I posted this review way too soon. Not even a week after Will "fixed" my car - I had transmission fluid leaking in large quantities - I took my car to the oil change and small mechanic shop that I've been using since I was 16 and my entire family does and I had NO idea that the issue was related to the recent repairs on my car by Will at AMMT Mobile Mechanic - They asked me if I had work done on my car recently after looking at it and I said yes and told them what - Not only did Will NOT put new parts on my car but he broke the USED Part that he put on my car and broke a gasket seal and that was why I was leaking transmission fluid - The shop told me that there was no way the parts were new and that there was no way I could've done what was broken - When I reached out to tell Will as the shop said it was 100% the previous mechanics fault - he started swearing at me, calling me a liar, my shop a liar - he was going on and on and demanded he was coming to my house in which after being berated with the F word and being called a liar - that was not an option. I told him if he kindly returned my money, I would pay for the new repair myself and not charge him back for the additional issues he caused. He obviously refused and I will be taking him to court as I am now paying for the car to be fixed again. The exact same parts and the additional gasket seal was almost as much as his ONE used cv axle! THIS GUY SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED AND HE TREATS PEOPLE TERRIBLY WHEN THINGS DON'T GO HIS WAY - I would avoid him at all costs!! I had a great experience with the owner Will! He was the fist to answer my request for pricing within minutes and it was before 8am. Once he got to my house - he had already bought the part, communicated pricing for the part (he actually confirmed that before buying it and charging me), and labor costs. Once he started working on my car, there were 2 other broken parts that were unforeseen. He went back to the store and got the necessary parts and finished the job. He was nothing but professional, nice, respectful, fast, and thorough with the job. Will responded right away after I put in for a quote, I paid $100 for him to come inspect the car, I had no issue with this. I contacted him a couple days later and he came the very next day to do the services. Again, no issues. Then, after driving the car I realized it wasn't driving correctly and my engine light popped on and it was also leaking some type of oil all over. I texted him about it immediately and sent photos. He said that the leak was just old radiator fluid and said that he'll come back the next day and check the engine light. He never came. He never even responded back. I took it to another mechanic and he said that it shouldn't be leaking at all. So I paid $800 for a radiator to get fixed, a mess of oil to clean up and radio silence after. I hate to give a bad review but I'm sure he's amazing for smaller jobs, but for jobs that require a shop and everything I don't know. read more

Not only did he fix our brakes quickly but he told us what other repairs we will need that we may not have known about. SCAM** Terrible experience. First of all the guy that I called and spoke with is not the same guy that showed up. He sent his "brother" Tyrone instead, Who I'm pretty sure is NOT a certified mechanic . Tyrone shows up with his TWO kids and his uncle two hours later. He pops the hood looks at the car does not take anything apart but says he can fix it but he needs to go and get a part. Three hours go by and he finally shows back up with his TWO kids and uncle again. Now after "fixing" the car he's ready to test drive the car. That's when I mention don't we need to put transmission fluid back in the car and he says oh yeah I forgot to tell you you need transmission fluid and I don't have any. Luckily I bought some two days prior but Tyrone did not have a funnel to pour the trans fluid in So he rolled up some paper from his van and stuck it in my transmission to use as a funnel. Now after spending half my day sitting outside in 90° temperatures while entertaining two elementary grade children who ran back and forth across my lawn my neighbors lawn and the street , I get up the next day to drive the car and he transmission fluid has leaked out!! The next day I called the number that I thought was Tyrone's but his uncle Eric answers the phone and tells me he will tell Tyrone to call me once he gets up. Tyrone never called so I called the first guy I spoke with (who wouldn't give me his name)and explain to him that my car is still not fixed he said he would talk to Tyrone and they would get back with me. They never called back... So it's time for legal action!! read more
