Driving through the area my vehicle somehow picked up an S hook in my tire. Slow leak late in the day on a trip from MN to NC. We found a hotel and I asked a few people where I could get my tire fixed and everyone quickly said Belle Tire. I stopped by in the morning and though they were very busy they got my vehicle in and made the repair. I had a bit of a wait before they squeezed me in, but I was happy to get it taken care of without an appointment. The staff was very friendly and professional. When they were done they told me it was no charge and have a nice trip! I was shocked, but very happy to be back on my merry way. They made an unpleasant circumstance not quite so bad after all. Josh Daniel saved the day! Punctured a tire on I65 in Indianapolis, put on spare tire, but it was bad! Pulled off in Columbus, IN, booked a room at 1:30AM. Called Belle at 8AM, Josh answered and took care of my problem. My spare was flat. He picked me up at hotel, drove me to the shop with tire, I purchased a new one, he drove me back to hotel, replaced tire, I followed Josh back to shop when he checked the pressure in all 4 tires! Went in to get new tires called ahead of time and asked them how long in total it would take they said 2 hours tops. Dropped off my car at 11:30 at 1:42 Josh came out to tell me I needed an alignment on my car. When I declined due to time he got a huge attitude about it. Finally got my car back and checked out at 1:53. When checking out with Wes, Josh makes a huge remark to put down how I declined the alignment in a rude way. At that time I told him I wasn't told it would take this long. He responded on how it usually takes an hour and half to two hours and I said I understand that but I've been waiting 2 and half hours. He then said that estimated time is based on when we get your car in the bay and we may not get it in right at your appointment. After all that thankful I did a quote online before coming in because when they went to check me out they tried overcharging me $50 by not applying the Labor Day discount. I will say Wes in the front was welcoming and nice but Josh not so much. read more

I know how to put gas in the tank and air in the tires. That's the extent of my car knowledge. And, given my age and personality, I'm sure it shows. But I've been here a few times for car maintenance, and what I really appreciate about this place is that the employees are easy to talk to, and they don't try to upsell me on random crap that my car doesn't need. They'll always tell me of any issues they find with it, but they don't try to pressure me into getting things fixed right then, or even at their store. Overall, they have a nice, clean, and quiet sitting area, and their employees are always friendly (Kenny is especially nice ). In terms of pricing, I don't know how other places compare, but the cost of parts and services is always about what I'd expect. Thanks, Belle Tire! read more

In summary, this was the worst customer experience I've had in 54 years on the planet. The counter guys at Belle, Mason and Josh were personable and helpful. They seemed to be good guys and tried to help. We purchased a wheel and tire package from Belle Tire for ~$2500. In order to close this deal we made 6 trips in total to their shop. There we're multiple misses on delivery and a scheduled appointment. As an example of the process, we were scheduled to have the tires and wheel installed at 1 pm and were told it would be 1.5 to 2 hours tops. After 2 hours, they called and said they put the wrong tires on the wheels requiring another 1.5 to 2 hours. I get it, mistakes happen, no problem. We pick the Jeep up, get it home, and have a look at the installation. Due to the wrong tires being put on, the wheel weights were required to be removed. During the removal someone scratched the wheel on the visible lip. We sent an email to the manager Kenny Wilkes explaining the problem. After no response I went to Belle to address the issue. In my opinion, it was clear the management had been trained to be aggressive with customers to minimize their exposure. I can't explain the managers response any other way. 1. He purposefully made me wait 15 minutes while he sat in his office attempting to drive dominance in the relationship. It didn't work, it just made the situation worse. I had to go into his office to get a response. 2. After explaining the issue, he attempted to do me a favor by offering a wheel refinishing option. This is an ingratiation technique. I bought new wheels, not refinished ones. This made the situation worse. 3. As we were communicating I slipped in a colorful word at which he replied, don't use that language in front of me sir. The language was not angry or directed at Kenny. This is another technique to gain power in the conversation. It was another failure. At this point I set my expectations of a new wheel to replace the one they damaged and followed him in to oversee the order. It was ridiculous this was required but given his aggressive approach, I didn't have a choice. During this exchange I asked if I could trust them to complete the wheel replacement competently without issue. Kenny responded with I'm not talking you into bringing the car back, just drop off the wheel. I can only conclude that this manager has been trained with these psychology techniques to manage customers when they've made mistakes. There is no way this guy would take this aggressive approach without being trained. There is no way anyone working in the service industry would take this approach without training. I firmly believe he's been trained this way by the company. I removed the wheel and tire and dropped it off at Belle. An assistant manager again asked if I could show him the scratch on wheel. I promptly walked out to the shop, showed him the scratch, and asked him to run is finger nail over the scratch so he could feel it. He did. Again, I have no conclusion other than Belle is training their people to be aggressive with customers using old school psychology techniques to limit their exposure when they make mistakes. Long story short, I will never, ever, do business with Belle Tire again based on this experience. Their incompetence is unbelievable. Their management's approach to customer service has been described above, unbelievable. I almost believe their incompetence is purposeful based on their management's response to our issue. We've had good luck and good experiences with the folks at Tire Barn in Columbus. The only reason we went with Belle is availability of the wheels we wanted. We'll use Tire Barn regardless moving forward. We give 1 star only because there are on negative star options. They are the worst I've experienced to date. read more

Checked in with an associate; they took my key and told me it'd be an hour and half. I sit down and waited. When it was close I checked with them only to find out that they don't have my tires in the store. During this whole time they didn't bother to give me any updates. Belle Tire has only been open in Columbus, IN, for a few months (2019). All the tire shops in town are busy, so they'll likely stay busy too. I really liked the online capabilities offered with setting an appointment, choosing the tires you want, seeing any rebates offered (which I got), and seeing the cost breakdown. Very efficient and transparent. Whitney at the counter was professional, friendly and really knew her stuff both about the operation of the joint as well an alignment issue with my car. Impressive. She offered some advice which I am considering. I would recommend that you drop the car off and come back to pick it up. If they are busy (like they were), they may not keep the promised time it is going to take to finish the job. Overall good experience and they'll likely just get better once they work through some of the rookie-stage growth they are experiencing. Will most likely shop them again. read more

I had an appointment and it still took over 3 hours to put 4 new tires on. Walk ins came and went and I was still waiting watching my car not being worked on. Finally, someone came in and said "your car is slightly out of alignment, do you want me to fix it?" I told him I did want him to fix it. So after paying almost $1000 for 4 new tires when I went to check out, I was informed that it would be another $130 for the alignment. Now, this may be a policy, but nobody told me that they were going to charge it and it certainly seems like if you bought 4 new tires you would align it and make things right. I would never recommend buying a car battery from Belle Tire. After it was in use only about 1 1/2 years it repeatedly failed to start the car. It came with a 3 year warranty but they refused to replace it even though the cars charging system checked out ok at the Honda dealership. read more

I wish I could give Belle Tire 10 stars! My son and I were travelling to Chicago from Nashville and stopped to get gas in Columbus when I started having car trouble. When I discovered my car wouldn't start, I ran over to Belle Tire to see if someone could help. Even though it was closing time, the whole staffed rallied to help. Two of the guys, went back to the gas station where my car was parked to assess what was wrong. The one guy helped for as long as he could until he needed to leave to pick up his wife but Joe stayed and troubleshooted for almost 2 hours until it was fixed and I was able to get back on the road. He wouldn't even accept any payment saying there need to be more good people willing to help others in the world. Belle Tire Zero Stars review: The bad tire is still on my car, two tires of a brand I didn't set out to buy, questionable if the worked charged for was actually done, a given brake estimate for repairs I didn't need... I have a tire that when the weather changes it doesn't just lose a little air, it loses a lot (no obvious reason). The tire has been repaired three different times and still it loses air. I was over worrying about it, so I opted to get two new tires. I went to Belle Tire. I explained the tire issue. I stated I wanted to get two new tires getting rid of both the passenger side tires and rotating the others, so the new tires are on the front. I asked which tire brand, Pirelli p7 or Michelin crossclimate would you recommend. The head manager stated the Michelin crossclimate had better reviews (even printing out the reviews to show me). He ordered the two Michelin tires. I made an appointment for the next day at 2:00, I needed to be at work by 4:00. Was told it shouldn't be a problem. The appointment was for: getting rid of the leaky tire, changing the oil, lubricating the caliber slides. Appointment 2:00pm: Manager in charge (different guy) came out and stated I really didn't want to put the Michelins on my car. Unless I was replacing all four tires, they are so different than the ones on my car that the ride would be terrible. I really appreciated his honesty. He suggested just letting them try to fix the leaking tire. I explained it had already been attempted 3 other times. He said, "let us give it a shot". Later, one of the technicians came out and said one of my tires is badly feathered and I really needed to replace it. So, one of the tires they had available to fit my car, Mastercraft. At 4:05 I finally got checked out with a bill for $295 and a brake estimate for $870. According to the brake estimate all my brake pads were "worn out" and all my rotors were "badly scored". A few days later, weather turns cold again, bad tire loses air. Went to Belle Tire. Just give me another Mastercraft tire so it matches the other one... get rid of the bad tire... rotate the new tire so that it is on the front with the other new one... and please check the tire pressure of all the tires because they are all over the place (37/32/36/26). Left after another long wait with a bill of $168. Went down the road and immediately turned back around. The bad tire was still on my car!!! They didn't even bother to put air in it! The head manager goes out and looks at all the tires on my car and starts to make excuses. In my not so happy voice, "the bad tire is still on my car!". He gets the technician who states he replaced the tire that looked the worse, etc. The ticket clearly stated what to do. After a little more discussion the manager asked me to come back in to see what he could do... I had to be at work so declined. Nine days after my first appointment: (Remember the $870 brake estimate) My son pulls the wheels off my car. All my rotors are basically fine. The back brake pads, that I had gotten replaced not long ago, are still in great shape. My front pads are worn and will probably need replaced in a few months. Oh, and he could find no evidence of the caliber slides having recently been lubricated. read more

Bought tires from this place. One of the tires developed a slow leak. Every time I stopped to get it looked at I got "we're busy and you'll have to leave it". No timeline on when they could get it in. Tried to set an appointment with them to look at it and I got "we don't do appointments for 'flats' and if we could we can't get you in till x number of days". Just piss poor customer service. If a customer is willing to work with their schedule and reserve a time slot, this should be welcomed. To Boot, I got a shit attitude from the representative while discussing the topic. I stopped in to have a brake inspection which they did no charge. I knew the pads needed changing. They also said the rotors did as well which was a surprise to me. They quoted me an insane price to do the work. So I asked how much for just the pads. They said the mechanic refused to do that claiming some excuse about metallurgy. Having worked in the engineering side of metallurgy this immediately came off as some big words to convince dummy me I needed this emergency work done. He said he'd knock off $100. I said I wanted another opinion. Went somewhere else, got the work done for $150 less with no arguments or insulting hard up-sell tactics. In all fairness I didn't have them do any work other than the inspection. Maybe they're good. But the hard sell turned me off permanently. read more

Was really in need of two new tires, went in on a tuesday abs they told me they had 2 great ones that would be available the next wednesday, so over a week. I agreed and had my appointment set for 9am, went that day and they told me the tires hadn't arrived, but that i could leave my car there for when they arrived around 12, I decides not to leave my car and left. It was 4 and i still hadn't received a call, so i called them. They told me that they didn't receive the tires and that they wouldnt ship because they were no longer available. They miss and miss appointments and shipment and are not a reliable place. I normally don't leave reviews for any businesses unless the service is exceptionally bad or exceptionally good, and in the case of Belle Tire, the service I received was exceptionally good. Kenny, the sales guy, was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about me and the other customers. He was very honest with me, and he took time to patiently answer all my questions and help me to make good and informed decisions without putting any pressure on me at all. Took vehicle in to fix a leaking valve stem and to have the tire sensors replaced. Got a call that I needed a CV joint replacement, so I decided to go ahead and do it. Got the vehicle back, they fixed the cv joint and the valve stem leak but not the tire sensors. So they fixed 1/2 of the actual things I took it to them for. While driving home the wheel was rattling pretty bad, so I took the vehicle back to belle tire. The next day they called and said that there were some loose bolts in the cv joint so they tightened them, then they proceeded to tell me that my sway bar link was "missing". I took the vehicle home and decided To just install the "missing" sway bar link myself. They never did replace my tire sensors. I do not recommend this company. read more

I purchased a set of tires a year ago from Belle tire, chapel ridge in fort Wayne. The way they left my car was terrible. When they took my donut off they did not put it back and I had a horrible time getting it back in the right way. There was debris in the back of my SUV and it was a mess. When I drove away with the new tires all I heard was clinging because everything was bumping together in the back of my SUV due to the spare not being put back properly. Moving forward I have gotten many flats. Never have I ever gotten this many flats with new tires and they don't hold air. In addition, I can't get in to get a tire fixed. All three locations in fort Wayne said that appointments were a month out. Yet I stood in line and they took in two other people that did not buy their tires there and fixed their tires that day. I urge you to go to Patriot tire on Dupont in fort Wayne. They are taking care of all Belle customers who need a tire fixed. They only charge $20 and do it right on the spot. They were very busy but fixed my tire and I was out in 30 minutes. They said they are worried about the safety of people who need their tires fixed.
