Simple to describe. Look no further. You have found the place you are looking for. Not for the vegetarian fan I'm afraid, although they give you a salad with your meat but most of the people leave them untouched. It's all about the meat here. I have been there 2 times now and every time was a bullseye for my taste buds. They also have a good collection of Whiskey behind the bar and hidden, so ask the manager if you are a fan.

Vegetarians, please refrain. As the restaurant sign tells you clearly: "Bovis, simply meat". I went…read morehere with a couple of friends, as we stumbled on this restaurant by accident one day and wanted to have dinner there, but couldn't as it was fully packed and we were told clearly that it would be hard to get a table without a reservation. So we did and got our table and were ready to order our steaks. The menu - only in Dutch FYI - has of course different meats from different countries. We also decided to all choose a different meat so we could try them all. We were served a Black Aberdeen Angus entrecôte from Scotland, a Wagyu from Australia, a Salers from France and a Prime Black Angus sirloin from the USA, made specially without hormones (!!!) for the European market, the menu says. And the meats were served perfectly cooked according to our requests. That proves the quality of a steakhouse. The meats were served with fries (delicious ones) and a side salad. There are no other side dishes that can be ordered. It's on the expensive side, but you definitely get quality in the meat. Too bad the quality in the service was missing - a little too pretentious to my taste, making us definitely feel being snubbed. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not sure if I would go back there as service is what makes a restaurant good or bad in the end. However, I believe the restaurant still deserves a 4 star because of its meat and its wine collection.

Pass on this place; the pictures and reviews absolutely drew me in. The menu is tapas only, which I…read morejust adore,...normally. I was sorely disappointed in the food and the slow service, but mostly the food. If service is slow and the food is amazing...its worthwhile. The waitress (there is only one) was very nice but simply overworked. Too many tables for her to keep on top of everyones needs. The food...was definitely the problem. I have been to over 17 countries, and enjoyed the food in all of them, but I was not enjoying this. The first issue is the menu is not in English, nor do they have one in English available. So I was using my phone translator and my knowledge of French (which the menu is translated into) to view the selections. I ordered things that looked like yummy pasta elections...they were overly fatty meatballs and a foie gras stuffed chicken breast with bitter onions (leaks?) or something stuffed with it. Both were unappetizing. The chicken was so rubbery I thought it was cheese! That's why I kept eating it. I eventually figured out it was rolled/pressed chicken (in the shape of a toilet paper tube roughly) with the stuffing...and a sub par yellow sauce that I couldn't quite make out. The meatballs were just terrible. I had one bite and stopped eating. The nice waitress spoke enough English, but never asked if I liked my meal... perhaps because she could tell I did not. However, I must say, the one thing that was really good about this place...I emphasize one thing, was the desert. It was fantastic. It was the only item I finished. The entire meal with one small beer came to 32.50 Euros... not a cheap adventure.

The place is well decorated, the tapas are amazing (I recommand the one with girolles) and price is…read morecorrect although not cheap. Definitely will come back
