The food was outstanding, one of the best meals I've had all week in Brussels. I had the sole and it was delicious. The sauces and veggies were great and large portions! I was stuffed. My girlfriend got the salmon pasta with sun dried tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, it was also delicious!! Very impressed. The atmosphere is romantic, although I went with my girlfriend and it was still fine! The service was great, the waiter was very friendly and helped us with the menu. Highly recommended!

4.5 stars My parents…read moreand I had a fabulous lunch here after a visit to the royal greenhouses, and it might have been my best meal in Brussels so far. The restaurant was rather fancy on the inside, but they didn't seem to care that we were dressed very casually. The crowd was decidedly elderly, something that even my septuagenarian stepfather commented on. Service was rather fast and friendly for Belgium, and prices were reasonable. Three main courses, a dessert, and three cappuccinos came out to less than 80 euros. The food was delicious. The lasagna was excellent. I had a vegetarian pasta dish (I forget the name of it, but it's kind of like a rolled up lasagna), and it was incredibly flavorful, probably the best choice of our group. We were all impressed by how flavorful they were able to make the eggplant taste. The portions were generous, and we had plenty of leftovers to take home. For dessert, their tiramisu and espresso drinks were great. I will absolutely be back if I'm in the area, and I'm even thinking about going out of my way for this place.

When I arrived I found an impressive menu of food and drink that I did not expect. They had Westmalle beer, and that was a great start. Ricardo the host/proprietor/waiter is originally from Columbia and we worked through some broker Spanish (on my part) to order an impressive array of Wild Shrimp Croquettes, Chorizo and (I think) Radish Homemade Ravioli, House Cut Steaks w/Belgium Frittes, and Beef Cheeks in Gravy. Very high quality food for this area, in a very friendly atmosphere. I think it was Anna (the chef) who came out and she was very sweet. I could see great care was taken in the preparation. I highly recommend this place when in the center of Brussels. The yelps were on point with this one.

Not sure what was happening but we waited over an hour in our seats eating bread. When the food finally arrived, It was rather bland and overcooked. The dessert was mediocre. Started with an excellent, and reasonably priced, bottle of Chablis (44 Euros). We also got a really interesting amuse that paired perfectly with the wine. The Moules Poulette (33 Euros) were huge and delicious, and of course come with good frites. Jim G. ordered a Linguine aux Fruits de Mer (32 Euros), which was amazing! Honestly, one of the best dishes on our trip and so unlike him to order! Full of scampi, langoustines, prawns, and mussels, with an amazing sauce, but not too heavy. Great service and an excellent meal! We would return here if in Brussels again. I'd suggest having a reservation, as it was pretty busy, even for lunch on a Tuesday.
