The store is VERY small, but they pack a ton of variety into this little space. The prices are a bit higher than you might expect, but the items are quality, including some great crystals and jewelry. You are always offered a hot cup of tea when you come in, even if you are just browsing. They have various skin care products and the supply of incense is ever changing. One of my favorite things to do is have a custom scent blended, or add a perfume oil to one of their different base options like body wash, massage lotion or hand lotion. There are a bunch of little roller bottles of perfume scents, and once you've picked a favorite, they will add drops of your smell to a scent free base. I use a roller of 3/4 sandalwood to 1/4 tea rose as my regular perfume scent. In addition to perfume oils, they have a supply of essential oils, and the owner Vonnie is a very knowledgeable aromatherapist, which helps if you aren't sure what to pick up. If you are looking for a metaphysical/alternative/new age shop, this is the best one in Central PA.

It's like there is a mold or mildew problem and they are attempting to cover it up with an unflattering incense. I had to leave, I was feeling queasy. When my daughter came outside, she said she smelled it too and she was trying to ignore it, but we both felt sick to our stomachs. The ambiance of the store is also not the same. I just did not enjoy being there.

A Metaphysical Journey. I have purchased informative books from their extensive inventory (I am a librarian), I have bought beautifully carved crystals, embellished salt lamps and powerful jewelry. I enjoy buying from the selection of handmade Himalayan salt soaps. Mostly, though, I utilize the EXCEPTIONAL services offered to enhance my soul's journey. I attend the monthly Sound Healings where chakra bowls, drums and voices raise the roof! I have monthly private meetings with Pat, who channels Blessed Mother, Padre Pio, Saints and Angels (I promise!) I have a Catholic background, so that works for me. I also have private monthly meetings with Judy, who is an extremely intuitive medium, using the aide of Tarot Cards. She has over 20 years of experience to offer you, and is gifted with connecting you to loved ones that have crossed over. She specifically connects me with my guardian Angel. I have also had one meeting with Cathy. It was the greatest guided meditation that I have ever experienced. My first step was to have my aura photo taken with Sharon. She discussed it in detail with me. I was able to meditate in the rare Stargate, in between photos. I also had a reiki session with Sharon, that was quite memorable. As you can see, Gracefull Heart has a wide range of benefits to offer. I find the prices for products and services to be extremely fair! I can not complete this review without stating the most obvious; the owner, Sharon, and her exceptional staff are the REAL REASON that I have visited the shop every week for the past six months. They ALL go out of their way to assist me in every way possible. I am always fully attended to. I feel so welcome and comfortable there... it's like "coming home". I hope that you visit, soon!

Mark died last November, and I wanted something I could wear to remember him and stay within my strict budget. The design of my ring took time, but the result is stunning! I brought in a ruby I had on hand (we are both July babies), my first engagement ring, Mark's wedding ring, and numerous other pieces with small diamond chips. The diamond from my ring, a diamond from Mark's ring, the ruby, and most of the diamond chips from the other gold and silver jewelry I brought with me were used to create my ring. A FAR cry from most Jewelers I've visited in the northeast (who are either cookie cutter chains or too pretentious for their worth). The lovely woman who helped me yesterday was (is) so sweet, conversational, patient, and helpful - never imposing or pushy. It was kind of like when you meet someone in a salon and start talking while you're getting pedicures. I'm pretty picky and I have very slim fingers. I must have tried on 20(+?) rings before finding a lovely, delicate diamond/pink sapphire band, perfect for what I was looking for. I return to PA every few years and plan to include Henderson's as a regular stop from this point forward. Their sign says "Jewelers," but they seem more like very nice people who happen to sell and repair treasures.
