Bellantoni is the best! They have done our sprinkler system, and they do our weekly landscaping, tick and mosquito treatment, gutter cleaning, and seasonable flower plantings! OK, let's be clear: Michael Bellantoni: DOES NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS DOES NOT NEED YOUR BUSINESS Instead, he'll give you an outrageous quote for his work and he figures what the hell, "if this dummy is willing to pay me THAT much to mow his lawn, why not, I'll do it" (not an actual quote, just what I surmise). He literally doesn't care whether he gets your business or not. Yes, you can view this as a sign of his success as a landscaper, but I cannot stomach this level of arrogance and conceit. The reality is that he's got a huge commercial business and I'm sure those clients are getting their rear-ends kissed, as are the small percentage of his residential clients who are practically running personal botanical gardens in their backyards. For the rest of us..... he's doing us a favor if he blesses us with his services. In addition, his staff is slow, labored and worst of all, deceptive or at best, disingenuous. At the end of the day, if you're willing to pay Rolls Royce prices, go for it, I'm sure your property will look great. I'd rather pay Mercedes prices, still have my property look great (which it does) and work with someone who gives a damn about my business. read more

Very deceptive and unresponsive company. Paid for a drainage investigation and had to follow up countless times for results and recommendations. Seems they only care about charging you heftily for the initial investigation, but not about solving any actual drainage issues. Stay away! read more

As a homeowner I feel obligated to warn others who are considering using Bellatoni Landscape. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any contractor/company. Not only was the project very delayed, countless mistakes were made, essentially everything they planted died and they tried to charge me for work that was never done. Add in, the owner of the company has the absolute worst customer service skills. I commissioned Bellantoni last summer to do some landscape design work (trees/plants/shrubs), build a raised patio and do some other masonry work. I could go into great detail about my disappointment, but here are some of the high (or low) notes: My front walkway and steps were to be repaired. The first attempt was done incorrectly and looked worse than when they started. I pointed it out to the project manager who acknowledged the shoddy work and said "i'll send over our A team to fix it". Not sure why i did not deserve the A team initially. The raised patio was supposed to by approximately 18 inches above the ground. But due to measurement errors by them, the patio ended up being 36 inches above the ground. I never would have built that patio, but it was too late to stop because they did not realize their mistake until after they started. Essentially every tree and plant they planted as per our contract died. And despite having a warranty with my contract, they gave me a very difficult time about replacing them. It was not until i said we will resolve this through other means, did they agree to do so. HOWEVER, they refused to replace everything that died and they also replaced my trees with different trees. I now have two different trees next to each other in front of my house. They also did some other masonry work. Most of which already is cracked or is falling apart. Rather than being a stand up company in a customer first business, they refused to repair any of their sub par work and hid behind language in the warranty. For all of my troubles, the owner of the company did not offer an apology or any concessions. Rather he tried to charge me for work that was never done. There are countless other things I could post. As I wrote at the beginning, I feel compelled to warn others who may be considering Bellantoni Landscaping. I will never use them again!!!! read more

0 stars is really more appropriate than 1 star but that is not an option. I just bought a home and was looking to find a landscaper. I called several companies and Bellantoni was one of the first to call me back. They had little flexibility in terms of what time of day they were willing to meet me at the property to give me a quote. I ended up going into work late one morning to accommodate their schedule. Nevertheless, I met with a nice guy named Paul who spent about 5 minutes with me at the house, gave me a few suggestions on thing I might want to do with the property, and said he would email me a quote within 2-3 days. That was almost 2 months ago. I never heard back. I obtained his business card and so when I didn't hear from him, I tried emailing him. He never responded to me. I tried calling the company and the receptionist said someone would call me back "soon" with a proposal. Again, I'm still waiting ... so unprofessional! What a waste of my time. read more

I met with David to look at our co op property. Despite seeming interested he never submitted a proposal for our property. I called a few times to follow up but still never received a proposal. They may do good work but my review is not good. It must be nice to have so much work that you can blow off potential customers. read more

Called for an irrigation mitigation. They sent a young man out on July 27. He said they would charge $170.00 per hour to look in the downspouts to see what the issue was. They would call me to set up an appointment. On August 10, I signed a contract for them to come out. Never heard from them again. I called and was told they sent me an email requesting a deposit for the work! (never heard of that before). I scoured my emails, junk mail, spam..no emails from them. It's almost a month since they sent someone over and nothing has been scheduled or done. My husband called and they said they would re send the email. They charge a 3% fee for credit cards. They should just give a cash discount, not charge extra, makes you feel scammed. Anyway, I do N O T like chasing down businesses to hand them my project! The several reviews saying they don't really want our business feels spot on!! There are MANY other qualified irrigation specialists out there, I already called another. read more

Stay away from this company. Paid $1000.00 for professional drainage issue investigation and recommendation. Representative came unprepared - had not even read the report of the investigation much less have a recommendation for the alleviation of the problem. Did not respond to emails at all. Had to call the office repeatedly. Finally three months later said the investigation has to be repeated, We had enough and asked for a refund. Hopefully that comes through and we have to start all over again. read more

Happiness is a Bellantoni truck in your driveway. I LOVE this company. They did my sprinkler system and they maintain it (I have only had one minor repair in all the years I have had it). They turned the sprinkler system on in the spring and off in the fall. They planted bushes for me, clean my gutters, did some waterproofing for me. I have used them over the last 25 years and trust them completely. On November 7, I had my back stairs rebuilt and they fixed my front sidewalk. They repaired my stockade fence a few years ago and 2 years ago rehabilitated my lawn. I do not think they are expensive, I think they are fair. They tell you a time frame; they come in that time frame. Often they come right at the earliest time. Their scheduling staff (I think it is one amazing person, Donna) is fabulous. Always cheerful too. Sometimes you look at the estimate and cannot decide if you want to do it or not. If you later think you want to but cannot find the estimate, Donna emails you another copy. I am under a "nom de plume" but if you contact them and want to talk to me, they have my permission to give me your information and I am happy to talk to you. I was so happy with my steps I took a picture of the person who did it and took a photo of the front walk. It is amazing, what a difference. As to scheduling estimates, sometimes you have to get a farther out date then you would like because they are in high demand and are known as one of the main companies for water control in Westchester county. They just completed a massive job at my church in Scarsdale. They are worth waiting for and building a relationship with. read more

I have done 3 major projects with Daniel at Bellantoni. Thanks to him, they have gone off marvelously. I had drainage (including town permits/inspections), landscaping (including many large trees relocated and installed) and a large masonary project done He was extremely patient, educational, courteous and professional. If I had not met him and Bellantoni, I would have had to find individual contracters for each piece and would not have been so knowledgeable about my needs. Through it all, there was strong communication and follow through. I plan on using them again in the near future for more work. read more

But then they decided that my account didn't bring in enough money for them so they increased my price by 275%, from annual $136 for turn-off/turn-on to $187 for turn-off only!! No communication of increase. I was reluctant to call Bellantoni's after reading such a horrible review on yelp. However, I called the company in spite of the review & decided to give them a chance. The company will not make an appointment, but rather give you a window of time for a person to show up. I was not happy about that, but I agreed. After waiting an hour for Andrew to show up, I had to leave. I figured he would show after I left. I instructed my help to tell him that I had waited & had to go & that he should leave. Well, he never showed, nor did he or the company call. No apologies, nothing, as though we never had an appointment. Next time I will put more credence in these reviews. read more

Absolutely love Bellantoni Landscaping, they are by far the best landscaping company I have used. Donna is always pleasant and efficient whenever I call. They have done a wonderful job with my driveway as well as the sprinkler system and just put up my outside Holiday decor. Yes they give you a time frame and are always on my property within the time frame. Most companies that are providing service to a home generally give a time frame, I believe it it standard. Everyone I have dealt with at Bellantoni is very pleasant and knowledgeable. read more
