Overall they are the best I've had in a long time. I grew up in New York, so New York Style pizza, true NY Pizza does not exist in Florida. However, its the closest I've seen in Florida to NY Pizza. I love Garlic on my pizza, some say I love to have Pizza with my Garlic. I get fresh garlic added as a topping. However, lately all the garlic is concentrated in one small area, usually in the middle so that first bite of the slice is almost too much Garlic, but as you move closer to the crust, there is almost no garlic at all. Its seems like they don't sprinkle the garlic or make much of an effort to spread it around. I'd rather wait a few more minutes for my food and have it right, than get it faster and be sloppy. The teen girls at the counter are clueless about requests like, "Can you spread the toppings all over the whole pizza, that you are charging me extra for?" I get the deer in headlights look with the fear of God in their eyes, not a clue what I am asking. They don't know how to enter that into the computer. There is no button on computer that says evenly distribute toppings. Case in point of quality slips when production is more important. I ordered Chicken Parm when it was slow, ordered shortly after they opened at around 4:30pm. It was by far the best in my life, the chicken was tender, juicy and could cut it with a fork. Amazing. On New Years eve, at 7pm, I ordered it again, expecting the same. However, when I got it, the chicken was burned and they covered the burn with cheese and extra sauce. They knew it was burned, hence why extra sauce but sent it out anyway. As a general rule, its always a red flag when you can't see the breading, they are covering something up. So I lifted the cheese and blackened chicken. It was dried out and way over cooked. It was hard to chew and had to saw through it 8 or 9 cuts with a knife to get through the chicken. By far the worst chicken parm I ever got. But I moved the chicken off to the side and ate the pasta. The middle of the chicken where it was thicker, was better, so after cutting off the burnt parts, it was barely passable as edible. I ordered the half Sicilian Pizza, and two slices on one end had NO Cheese. Really? The other end, had cheese but no sauce. Did the cheese slide because of careless handling / wreckless driving of delivery person, or did it leave the store that way? Will never know?!?! I ordered it again in person a week later, again when it was slow, and every slice had cheese and sauce. Overall the food is good, but order early before they get swamped, because to get the orders out, quality will slip. The is no consistency from order to order and nobody is checking the orders before they go out to make sure quality is maintained. read more

Completely disappointed tonight. Ordered my food at 545pm and it arrived at 715pm completely cold. The driver got lost and didn't have GPS ( he told me). He called me at 645pm to ask for directions and was on the other side of town. I called Bella Roma at 7 to express my satisfaction but got. Toning but a sorry and if your food is cold when it arrives call back and we will remake it. Not what I wanted to hear. Of course I called because it was cold and was told they can remake it but couldn't tell me how long til I would get it! I've been waiting 90mins by now! I'm Really Disappointed about the Delivery Driver that made a U-turn in front of me as I'm driving down the road, I had to Slam on my brakes so I didn't hit him, honked my horn so he knew I was there just to get the Middle Finger Pointed at me! We were looking for a new pizza place to try out, the pictures of the pizza looked good. But after getting a large pizza and garlic knots, the dough was flavorless. For me the crust of a pizza is a big part of really makes a good pizza, and this tasted like nothing, no salt or anything. I love a thin crispy crust pizza but the pizza crust was so so thin in the center, almost not there, that about half of a slice was soaked through and basically separated from the rest of the pizza because the crust had become so soggy. The garlic knots were the same issue, the dough was flavorless, and seemed stale :( and also didnt have any garlic or butter/oil on them, which is a pretty crucial part of it being a GARLIC knot. The sauce was good but it was very difficult to enjoy the pizza with the crust tasting so bland. We were very disappointed, we were really looking forward to some good pizza. :( read more

Tried the lasagna, tiramisu & garlic knots today. Garlic knots were awesome! Tiramisu was very tasty after I thawed it in the microwave-custard layer was frozen, so I assume they get the desserts this way. Lasagna-just ok. VERY salty & there was very little meat in this entree. More ricotta cheese than needed as well, for my liking. Staff was very friendly and prompt. We just has a pepperoni pizza from the new location on Canoe Creek and it was hands down the best pizza we have had since our search began of all of the pizza places in Saint Cloud. The dough was cooked perfectly and the amount of cheese and pepperoni was perfect. We ordered a small because we weren't sure but this is our to go to and only go place for really good pizza. Vegetarians BEWARE! Ordered a spinach and cheese calzone for delivery. Had eaten half of the calzone when I tasted sausage. Called the location and simply told them what had happened. I had ordered a pizza and pie along with the calzone. Wanted a credit back for ONLY the calzone even though I was very nauseous after ingesting meat. Was told there was nothing they could do and they were SORRY about the mistake. Then he reviewed my order and told me that I actually had ordered the meat calzone. I haven't eaten meat in 8 years and know I didn't order it with meat. I told him that they must've misunderstood me. Still wouldn't credit my account. When asked to speak to a manager I was told they were too busy. If I had asked for a full refund I MIGHT understand the weariness, but for only a partial refund this is outrageous. I have tried alot of pizza places in central fl. In my humble opinion the true test of a pizza place is does the plain cheese pizza stand up on its own. Anyone can top some bread dough with sauce and hide a bad pizza with tons of toppings. This pizza tastes good even with out toppings. Topped or just cheesed bella roma is the best you'll find. Heard that this was a great place so we decided to order and have it delivered. We were told 30 to 45 minutes. After waiting an hour and a half we called to find out when our pizza would be there and we were told "it's out for delivery but I don't know when it will be there because I don't know which driver has it." So we waiting 30 more minutes we decided to cancel because we had to feed our kids and this was ridiculous. The the driver decided to call my husband and yell and cuss at him because he "had to pay for the pizza" and that people like us don't deserve his food. Ordered 4 delivery a "Gourmet" Bruchetta,lg. last nite. Bad call on our part. Nothing wrong w/the delivery aspect of this scenario, HOWEVER, The product that was delivered had NO resemblance to the menu description at all! We added extra toppings that appeared invisible & I'm sure that fresh Basil has never graced this establishment. I called the Mgr. & explained my displeasure @ being misled & he REFUSED to credit my CC for the charge. He offered a 3/4 CREDIT @ Bella Roma(I'm really excited to go there again!). I cannot agree with most of the reviews of this restaurant. I was told this was a very good Italian restaurant and they delivered to my area in St. Cloud. The first order was an antipasto. I was told 40 minutes to delivery. It was not delivered for over an hour and a half. It was ok. I wanted to give it another try so I ordered mozzarella sticks and eggplant parmigiana. Both were ice cold when received and the sauce was not seasoned and very bitter. Gave it one last try; this time just spaghetti and meatballs. It was cold when delivered and again tasteless and bitter. I called each time I had a problem but nothing seemed to be changing. The young lady I spoke to was very rude and screamed at me through the phone..."what the hell do you want me to do"? I have never gone back and never will regardless how much praise or foodies they get. read more
