This is nothing compared to other home health services we have had after falls, which has typically been 16 sessions (usually they provided 2 sessions a week for a month, then renew for another month). I picked up an item and later discovered that Apria had kept my credit card on file without my knowledge or authorization. When I received a bill with incorrect insurance details, I called to correct it--only to find out they had already charged my card 12 days earlier! To make matters worse, I contacted Apria's corporate office and learned that Oxnard is required to get authorization from patients before storing payment details--which they absolutely did NOT do. This is a blatant violation of trust and proper billing practices. If this isn't credit card fraud, I don't know what is! I am filing a report and urge others to think twice before doing business with this location. Shady practices like this should not go unchecked. Apria Healthcare, you should be ashamed!
