I took my 6 year old daughter to get her hair done, as she was going to be a flower girl. The hair looked fine during the event, but utter shock and disappointment took over as we took her hair down, and gave her a shower later that night. First the smell of burnt hair was quite intense - we shampooed her hair 3 times, and nothing was getting the stench out (we had to wash her pillow and pillow case because the smell permeated them). Her hair was also falling out in clumps (see photo) - to the point that we had to get 4 inches cut the next day. When I contacted the salon, I was told that my concern would be relayed to the owner, but it has been a week since my call, and no one has contacted me. I had my hair done by Bella and my makeup done by Nella for my wedding. I cannot praise them enough times on their talent and execution of my entire look. Bella just knew what would work best with my face and my wedding dress and made some major magic happen with my hair. I got complimented all day and night. My makeup was flawless. Nella gave me the natural look I wanted but with enough drama to stand out in the crowd and in my pictures. When I arrived at the salon in the morning they had bagels, coffee, oj and other goodies set up for all the brides to enjoy. I went there for my wedding day, for the consultation I had a picture with me, yes I know you never get your hair done exactly like the picture, Bella looked at it and told me she knew exactly what to do to give me the hairstyle I wanted... She wasn't lying! She worked her magic on my hair! She made the hairstyle I wanted and she made a few amazing changes to make the style fit my face! Two years after my wedding, I am compelled to finally write down into words what I experienced at this place. I was getting married and excitedly booked Bella Nella as I thought that was the best place to go for your wedding. I payed somewhere around $650-$700 and made sure a trial appointment was included too. When I went for my trial, Bella held my hair around and said "this is how we'll do it." She didn't really ask what I wanted and there was no makeup done at this trial. The whole thing was rushed and honestly I was stupid to have just gone with it. I thought maybe I misunderstood the whole trial thing. I hadn't. I originally booked my appointment for 5:30am. I wanted to make sure id be done on time for my wedding. When I went for my trial Bella changed my appointment for 7:30 and said there's no need for me to come so early. Again, I went with it. Fast forward to my wedding day. When I went in for my appointment there were THREE other BRIDES booked for the same time! Not only that but there were other customers as well. Bella and Nella were the only hair and makeup stylists there. They both switched off brides. One did hair the other makeup, then switched off and switched off again. Never fully finishing a bride in one sitting. After originally booking my appointment for 5:30, my hair and makeup started being done somewhere around 9:30! Mind you, I had to be done by 11. So they started my hair and makeup then switched off and started on my mom and switched off again to other brides then myself again. As a BRIDE, Nella half assed my makeup. She probably spend max 20 minutes on my makeup. I do better daily makeup then they did for my wedding! My hair was nothing like I wanted it to be. It was what Bella thought would look good. I had red lipstick so I asked if I could have a tube to go, and I didn't realize at the moment that the one they gave me was finished. At the very bottom of the tube! I couldn't retouch my wedding makeup!!! I was out of the salon at 11:30. I was late to my own wedding. I spend $60,000 on my wedding to look like crap. Overall I'm so incredibly disappointed! The thought of how apathetic these ladies are, especially the makeup artist just makes me want to cry! This is the one most important day in a woman's life! Each bride that sits In your chair has a story. We dream of our wedding day all our lives! Makeup on a bride is not something you can half-ass! I urge everyone reading this to go somewhere else! Don't be sucked in by the thought of being in a "spa" on your wedding day. There's nothing glamorous about what I went through. read more

I am re-posting my review since yelp is a better source for most of us nowadays! This place is a practical joke and I tend to believe that the 5 stars ratings are not real. Here is my experience from this place. I was with a small group for my cousin's wedding. Well she was the bride so she went a head to get her so called "special treatment". Once we arrived we were given the most dirtiest towels to wear to protect our clothing (seriously what a big deal for the money you pay)!!! Next, without having any clue who would have taken care of my hair, I was taken to sit under one of those huge hair dryers with hair rollers on which as a result they burned the hell out of my hair. Next one of those ladies who was in charge of hair styling started to work on my hair. So as she works on my hair I was witness to see how they're working on another bride! I looked at her face then at her hair and I couldn't help myself but to bursts into laugh. Have you ever seen one of those huge Teflon cookwares, that was her big day "hair style". Unfortunately I was about to be another victim of this ridiculous place. So, I'm asking for a style which was depicted in one of the magazine I ended up having the most hugest hair style on top of my head. Being of course a nice customer, I told the lady that my head looks a huge pumpkin and please do something with it...this is not only me, and I've noticed these people don't care about what the customer asks! Have I mentioned about their air-brushed make up. There is this Asian lady who does their make up. Gosh she just sprays and I don't even know what to say about her eye make up. In the end the crew is asking for our pictures for their so called website. To be honest there were at least about 10 people over there who were as unhappy as I was and I was just wondering how on earth they've become so famous!!! If I could give this salon a description in just one word it would be 'OUTDATED'. Don't waste time and money on their trials, don't waste time showing them pictures of what you want either because YOUR NOT GONNA GET IT ANYWAY. The morning of my wedding, I went to the salon and was greeted by Bella. She went on and on about her trip to Paris for a fashion show and I was just a nervous wreck watching her do my hair. I could see she was creating something that was nowhere near what I had asked her for. Once hair was done, I sat with Nella to do my make up. I could tell she was just exhausted from doing this for such a long time. She took really long to put eyeliner on me and I was just so anxious to leave. To make matters worse, I had booked my photographer to come to the salon with me to take pictures there and he couldnt get me to smile because my hair was just horrific. I rushed out of there and went to the salon where my sister and bridesmaids were and the stylists fixed my hair without taking a dime. We did have quite a laugh though because as soon as I sat on the stylists chair at the other salon, there were loose rolls of hair falling out from my updo.
