My daughters have not only improved on their techniques but have also built meaningful friendships and become much more confident. Thank god for this studio…read more I "retired" from dance and gymnastics about 5 years ago or so. I was always nervous to go back. Afraid I was too old. Afraid I wouldn't be good enough anymore. Afraid I wouldn't have time etc. etc. This place is so welcoming. It really has a family feel. A lot of the kids, adults and teachers have been there for years and they are more then open to allowing others join the fam : ) I feel good about myself because of the encouragement I have received from Nichole and Byron (tumbling and jazz teachers) They are fun and make coming after a long day of work exciting for me. It's nice to feel that I have nothing to be afraid of anymore, a lot in due part to the environment, schedule and variety of classes offered.

What sets them apart from other zumba instructors is that Amy and Susan are so genuine and caring. I FELL IN LOVE WITH CATHERINE, CARL AND AUNTIE SHARON, AND, CJ, THEIR SON. We performed all over. Competed at Tahiti Fete, 3 yrs. In 99 we won our division. Total excitement. This was a great group of caring people. Never saw anger, or rudeness from anyone. Would love to go back, even at my age, 83, still can move the old hips. Listen to Hawaiian music all the time. Wish I could remember the dances. I wish them nothing but the very best. My favorite 4 1/2 years of dance.

Another great thing about Alice is that she's not afraid to tell you when a move looks different than you may have intended and is flexible on changing up the routine to better suit you. Please don't listen to the parents that complain about the policies. With young girls, they are a Godsend and very well thought-out to reduce drama and increase the time the instructors have to teach the girls, which is what they should be doing. I wish Lori started a consulting company and taught other organizations how to run a business smoothly because there are several other kids/teens activities we have been involved in that I have wished had her policies! After 10 years, I can tell you that Lori loves the girls and everything she does is for them first. Her own daughters went through the studio, so she knows what parents and kids want and she does everything possible to make that happen. The result for us has been a lot of great friends and great memories at events, competitions, Disneyland, a cruise, Europe, and charity performances everywhere. And still the kids have the ability to do other activities because Lori even works closely with the local high schools' dance, cheer, and leadership departments. Can't recommend Next Step enough! Regarding the auto-enroll policiy, don't complain. There are limited spots in a dance room, so say thank you to them for saving a spot for your kid. Most of Danville just leaves you to fend for yourself!

There's always melt downs, potty breaks, kids sleeping on the floor, ponding on walls etc -teacher doesn't seem to have control of the class -recital super disorganized, costumes came last minute, daddy daughter in person practice was over Memorial Day weekend which lots of folks can't make due to being out of town. Biggest gripe is that it was an outdoor recital in June in Livermore. It was over 90 degrees. -no ventilation in waiting room (so hot in June) Overall I think my daughter did improve her dance skills but I'm rooting for them to really improve their admin issues before re-enrolling.

The water is not clean. You have sand in the bottom of the pool . It's cold the water is ocean cold. this morning when I went to the pool, it was so cold that I was not able to swim in the water. I felt that I was going to get sick what is going on and when will this get fixed?
