If you are renting equipment, either motorized or not, he sincerely takes the time to ensure proper use for safety but not in a condescending way. My wife had never ridden a jet ski before and he spoke to her encouragingly and gave her instructions of what to do if she decided she wanted to drive. Which at first she was terrified of. No doubt, when we were out on the water she screamed "Ok, my turn...I want to drive!!" We had a great 4 days away from work, kids, and school while celebrating our Friday the 13th successful brain tumor removals (separate, but surgeries the same day different years). Angelo and Lazy Days were an excellent addition to rounding out our stay. We reserved two chairs for the days we were there, we kayaked, jet skied, and enjoyed our company when Angelo dropped in to ensure we were comfortable. I am critical and I work in customer service. If you don't know how to serve or have a problem with the words "server" or "service" you are in the wrong business. Angelo knows what it is to give a part of himself, in service, to enhance your time. And we reciprocated by thanking him and appreciating him, as you should. I reached out day before to confirm we were still good and we were! We confirmed the meeting time at the beach access. Day of they arrived ON TIME as scheduled and would you believe.. I was not available ( I was taking get ready pictures for my nephews wedding and the Bride & Groom were running about 30 minutes behind)... I apologized and asked if there was a way for him to leave it for me and he said YES! He locked it up and sent the combination to the lock. Ya'll I had not even had a chance to pay him yet! Communication could be better…read more We paid for 3 days of a set, 2 chairs and an umbrella, for $120 plus the extra 20% fee since we paid with card. No problems with set up our first or third day. Look ahead at the weather because there is a no refund policy, even if it storms and they have no plan to set up that day. We didn't know that there was no plan to setup our second day until we called Larry that afternoon since our chairs and umbrella were still chained up vs set up. He said he isn't setting up, nor refunding for the day that we had paid for already. We had expected it setup by the time we came back from the NAS, but we still went out and enjoyed the beach as best as we could that day with no chairs and just used our kids umbrella. It was stormy early the second day and windy the rest of the day, but the 3rd day was also extremely windy with no problems with set up.

We could see the ocean and feel the salty air hit our cheeks and sometimes tangle our hair but it was always something my family and I looked forward to. We met Sage and her family maybe four years ago. I was so impressed to learn that Sage was only a teenager when she founded her company. Her family supported her idea of supplying Navarre with bikes to maneuver around the quaint town. And it grew beyond bikes. Our time in Navarre was always with Sage Paddles on the itinerary after discovering how peaceful and memorable scooting around town afforded our family. We wanted to support Sage and her sweet family especially after we learned of her story. Sadly, as of last year they no longer have scooters available. We never quite got to the bottom of why but we have cherished the memories this small family owned company helped us create.
