There was a person selling bracelets that are welded on your wrist right there for an exact fit, seemed fun. They had tea and scones and British gifts out for the coronation day. The Union Station legendary ribs were so/so but this store was a hit for me. There is a wide variety of items to peruse with many unique items in both the upstairs and on the main floor. I came to browse and burn time till the restaurant opened and was pleasantly surprised with a must-have find. I couldn't walk away from a beautiful leather cross-bag. The pony hair was so soft and the colors were gorgeous. With tax, I forked over $200.00; expensive, you bet! Worth it for the find; you bet! The cashier was pleasant and knowledgeable of all the items in the store. I'll be back to spend more time to carefully look at the fun selections such as clothes, jewelry and soaps.

The pumps usually work, and the ones that have any issues are clearly marked with what issues are occurring (whether the entire pump is out of service or if just the card reader at the pump is not functioning.) Also, they may just be the only location in the metro Detroit area that has zero sugar Baja Blast Mountain Dew stocked and available...which is a definite plus, if you are a caffeine fiend.

Just like everyone around this time last year, I got a little stir crazy. Ended up ripping out a…read morewall in my bathroom in DIY attempt to create more storage space in lieu of going to a concert or bar. Needless to say, after months of thinking, "I'll get to it. I know what I'm doing!" I realized there would be a lot of drywall repair work and drywall was not my thing, so I reached out to a few peole. Turns out my parents' neighbor was Tom from MI New Bathroom. He knows drywall! After a few pics and texts back and forth, and his honest take on what he would do if it was his bathroom, he came out to inspect the project. And here's what I love about him: After being a bit reluctant to fix rather than replace, he came up with a plan to both frame out my storage area as well as repair all the drywall AND do a prime paint coat! What's better? He knocked it out in two days! The best part was how clean and tidy the job looked. Now I can move forward with the pandemic paint I bought back in 2020 to finish it up! What started as a low-budget failing DIY project turned into a perfect job. I'm very happy with Tom's work.
