During my first visit, I worked with Nicole, the owner, who was so kind, patient, and genuinely supportive. As someone who didn't fully know what I wanted yet, I never felt rushed or pressured--she made the entire experience feel exciting and comfortable. Nicole suggested I come back for an Alena Leena trunk show, and I'm so grateful I did. At my second appointment, Angelica helped me and was an amazing listener--she really understood my vision and helped guide me without ever pushing me in a direction that didn't feel like "me." That visit turned out to be everything. I found my dream dress from the trunk show collection, but I also couldn't stop thinking about another dress I had fallen in love with during my first visit (which happened to be on sale!). Of course I then searched yelp and google to see reviews but there wasn't much to go by. I was a bit hesitant since I had a lace dress with various layers and was on a tight timeline. After coming across her Facebook page I saw some more feedback and figured I'd at least give a call. Personally I've had bad experiences with dry cleaners and bridal shops so I felt more comfortable if I could find someone like Teresa. In speaking to Teresa, explaining to her the dress and the timeline (as I was currently out of town) we made an appointment for me to bring it in as soon I was in town. She said she could meet the timing before I left for the next trip, which is when I needed the dress. Upon meeting her I couldn't help but feel I was in great hands, what's more she understood how the body impacts how clothes fit and flow. During my time there I saw a few customers coming in and through their interactions I can see they loved her work, they trusted she'd deliver and they had a nice relationship. I couldn't help but wonder how is it there weren't an abundance of glowing reviews. The only thing I can think of is maybe we'd all love to have this fabulous find all to ourselves and keep Teresa as the best kept secret.
