Well, without going into too much details...I felt he "threw me under the bus". I later went on line, got the documents off the Washoe County Court website, filed my own motions changing Washoe to Douglas, had a hearing on my own and got full custody of my daughter. His plan was to just go back and forth with my X's attorney and yell at me to submit and pay $1000's. I think I paid $12 filing fee... I gave 2 stars because I did get my daughter and she is doing great :) I am trying to help her and her mother to get along. Forgiveness in life is SO IMPORTANT!

Ms. Caffaratti represented my abuser in court proceedings. In that role, motions were filed that…read moreresulted in protective orders being dropped and required continued interaction with my abuser. Those outcomes were extremely harmful and retraumatizing for me. As a survivor of severe domestic violence, I have suffered life-altering physical injuries, including a double mastectomy due to blunt force trauma, removal of a significant portion of my chest cavity, and years of physical therapy related to neck injuries and nodules resulting from repeated strangulation. The legal outcomes in this case directly impacted my sense of safety while I was still coping with these serious medical consequences. I was 8 month pregnant when Ms. Caffaratti began assisting my domestic abuser. Based on my experience, I believe this advocacy showed a willingness to push ethical boundaries without adequate consideration for the real-world impact on survivors of abuse. This review reflects my perspective as someone directly affected by those legal actions.
