I've seen the state of the facility myself, and if you have a unit there--or are thinking about renting one--get out now. It is currently a complete "free-for-all" and totally unsafe for your belongings. Here is exactly what's going on as of May 2026: The front gate is broken wide open. Anyone from the general public can drive or walk right in at any time. There is no perimeter control at all. The security cameras and alarms don't work. They are either completely non-functional or non-existent. If your unit is broken into, there will be zero footage of it. No one is watching the place. There are no security guards or staff on-site to patrol or monitor who is on the grounds. Marco has already sent a formal notice to the facility manager and their corporate office (InSite Property Group / Optivest) regarding this massive negligence and breach of contract. It's honestly insulting that they are still charging people for "secure" storage when the gates are open and the cameras are off. If management doesn't fix this immediately, this is headed straight to the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division.
