They used a hot plate to keep the main dishes warm. We both thought the lamb dish was excellent. However, my wife did not care for the vegetarian dish (I liked it). Overall, we had a good meal here and a good night out. However, we eat a lot of Indian food and my wife cooks great Indian food (she is Dutch not. Indian). I heard…read morerecently this local restaurant was voted second best curry house in Edinburgh so was keen to try. I have to say it was delicious and was really impressed. Great flavours, fresh and tasty and great nan bread too. My wife who is very hard to please actually said "this is the best takeaway I've ever had" - high praise indeed.
