I get my package and instead of my Steve Madden boots I ordered the shoes were switched to some cheap Amazon dupes! It's clear someone from this location who shipped the shoes switched them! This Belk was nice! So I don't think I've been to a Belk's Department Store since I was a teenager, so it was a nice place to stop on a recent trip to the area. Belk is much like a JC Penney, Dillards, or any traditional department store. This location was super clean and organized. The one thing initially I was confused about was where the departments were. I couldn't find a sign for the men's department, but when I realized it was on the second floor, that's where I headed. They had a lot of different options, styles and brands available for reasonable prices. The crowds here seemed minimal so you really could take your time, comb the aisles and find that perfect item either for yourself or that loved-one during the holiday. They've got a home department, women's, children's, cologne and jewelry department(s) as well. Fortunately or unfortunately I didn't find anything. I did remember that back in the day I opened up a Belk card, but sadly closed it because I never used it. Maybe one day it'll be time to open another? read more

Not too fond of this Belk. Customer service has always been iffy. More detail on that...sometimes people are as friendly and helpful as can be then some days, dismissive or you can barely find anyone. I could just say that's a part of customer service and as I always say, different people, different days, different attitudes. This day in particular, I could not find any open register to check out. Frustrating. I was interesting buying new towels. There were no prices. We saw a lady folding towels and doing other other little things and asked for the prices, and said "I don't know"..."I'll have to take it to the register" and my issue was the tone and dismissiveness of it. My parents and I just walked away. While walking away, I noticed other individuals unpacking boxes and pricing. This is an assumption of mine, but if you are working on setting up new items, shipments or whatever the case may be, maybe start with that so we can empathize with "you" and understand this inconvenience instead of making it feel as though we are bothering you. Ya know, "I apologize but we don't currently have prices for any items and actually in process of doing that now...etc.". Regardless, as I stated we left. If I have to make a M.A.C. run, I would come back because those girls are always full of life. read more

So disappointed in this Belk store. This use to be a nice store to shop, especially at Christmas. I waited in line for about 30 minutes to return an item, with only two shoppers ahead of me. My mother wanted to shop more this past Saturday, but in waiting an hour to return an item, she did not want to shop the store further in case she would experience the same wait time. Again, so very disappointed as this use to be a very nice store to shop year round. read more

Belk - Outside - Department Stores Near Me - Macon, Georgia

M*A*C Cosmetics inside BELK I've been to this specific location at least 5-6 times in the last year or so. For a while I had no idea their was a MAC in Macon, I believe a lot of people aren't aware of this. However a nail tech from a nail salon told me about this location and ever since I've been going to this location. The first artist I dealt with was Colleen and she was very professional. She was sort of quiet but she did an amazing job with my makeup and did everything she was suppose to do. Every artist I've dealt with personally at this location has been helpful if their not too busy. This location isn't very busy during the weekday unless their is a major event going on in the area. If you plan to go on the weekend or for prom I highly recommend you make an appointment with an artist. Colleen is my favorite so if your new to the area I highly recommend her if she's available. If she's not available you can ask for Brandon or Katrina. read more

Belk is a store similar to Dillard's and Macy's with, IMO, better deals on most of their items. Men's clothing, Women's clothing, kids clothing, jewelry, housewares, bedding... this place has a wide variety of all. As far as mens brand clothing they have Crown & Ivey, Saddlebred, Nautica, Izod, Levi... just to name a few. I prefer coming here rather than some of the other department stores due to their prices. They almost always have some things I like that are on sale. Who doesn't like cheaper prices? Be sure to check the weekly ad to find something you'll like or browse around. My only gripe is that it can be a little messy at times, but again I'd rather come here than other department stores. read more

I absolute love this Mac counter. No matter if they are crowded or slow ,each individual that comes will be taking care of. Everyone that works there are  very professional and very  helpful. Everytime I go to the counter to get my eyelashes put on ,which is every two weeks or so. They last and also stay on.   I try to visit Jenny because  it's always a Good experiment and 10/10 I purchase the products that we experiment with. Sometimes when I go to get it professional done everything is done correctly . The right foundation is used on my skin ,eyebrows are not to big or to small,everything  looks natural . ,although they are capable of doing clean  dramatic looks. I highly recommend this Mac Counter to anyone prom ,parties birthday shoots,etc read more

Jenny is the absolute best. She's been doing my makeup for 5 years now and I don't trust anyone like I do her. The MAC makeup is in my option the absolute best. It holds up all day and all night for any formal event I have to go to. Be sure to see them for any makeup needs! read more

Horrible makeup artist...she has my eyelashes on wrong and used the wrong foundation color on me. She did my eye makeup way too dark then what I requested and she rushed through everything. I ended up going to the Clinique counter and they did an excellent job on my face! Very friendly. My maternity photos turned out great because of Clinique not MAC read more
