I cannot recommend this dealership. I contacted them about my interest in a truck, which according to their website was able for an immediate test drive and purchase. Their internet sales manager contacted me and I scheduled a test for the next day. I arrived at the dealership after driving for an hour / 50 miles 1 way to the dealership ( 2 hours and 100 miles round trip), only to be informed that A) they had no record of my scheduled test drive, B) the truck was not on the lot and C) it was the owners truck and not intended to be sold. The representative who met me at the door was unapologetic and didn't seem to care. At the time of writing, the truck is still shown on their website as "on the lot" with the option to send an offer. I cannot recommend this dealership and will not be purchasing any future vehicles from them if this is how they do business, baiting people into coming to the lot, only to not have the requested vehicles in stock, hoping to up-sale another model. The service department at the Belk Ford in Oxford, MS was unconcerned with the issued and made it clear that our truck was nearly 10 years old; therefore, they were not responsible for the repair. All the silver letters on the back of our 9 yr. old F150 fall off. The service department wanted to blame the heat on the lettering falling off, this is Mississippi, it's always hot during the summer! If hot cause the problem, lettering from every F150 throughout the U.S should have fallen off. It has been unseasonably hot throughout the U.S. The service department told us we would have to purchase the new lettering and pay the hourly service fee to remount the lettering, unbelievable. read more

I had my Ford F250 Super Duty towed to Belk Ford in Oxford 3 1/2 weeks ago because I was told they would get it in the shop that day or the next morning. After a week went by with no call from Belk I drove up there to see what was going on. The service dept told me they had not even looked at my truck yet. I waiting until Thursday and call the service dept back and was told they still had not got it in, but they would get it in that afternoon or Friday morning. The following Monday (2 weeks now) I call again and was told they would have it in the shop the next morning. When I had not heard from them Wednesday I call and was told it was going into the shop to be looked at. Saturday when I still had heard nothing I called Belk to talk to a manager. He advised the service dept was closed but he would call be back Monday morning (now 3 weeks) and advise what was goin on. He never called me so I call at 4pm and spoke with him. He transferred me to the service dept manager, who transferred me the the service rep in service. She told me they could find nothing wrong with my truck, and also stated "the mechanic said it has 300,000 miles on it (on a 6.0 diesel that was bullet proofed at 180,000 miles) so they could not do anything with it. When I asked did you put it on the computer I was told "it doesn't have any codes. Then I asked about the driver side front bearing they were suppose to look at, and was told "he never looked at that". So she told me they would pull it into the shop and have that checked (the truck had been there for 3 weeks at this point). I waited and called back Thursday (3 1/2 weeks now) to speak with the General Manager. He told me he would find out what's going on and call me right back. One hour later the Service rep called me and said my truck was test driven and quit on them so they had to towed back to Belk, but I would not be billed for the tow, but she stated "BELK WOULD NOT BE LOOKING AT MY TRUCK OR FIXING IT, AND I NEEDED TO HAVE OT TOWED SOMEWHERE ELSE". How can any Ford Dealership do this to Ford customers. I have bought 11 new Fords over the past 20 years and have never experienced anything remotely close to the service provided by this dealership. My next step is to contact Ford directly to file a complaint in Belk Ford Oxford. My recommendation is too NEVER do business with Belk Ford in Oxford Mississippi. (UPDATE) I contact Ford directly and got a reference number for the complaint I filed on Belk Ford through Ford. Service department doesn't tell you the whole story and steals your property Brought my truck in on a Monday morning for a transmission fault, service manager told me that they'd call me that afternoon or the next day with a diagnosis. Two weeks later after multiple calls and visits to the service department I was finally informed that they never inspected it and it wasn't going to be inspected for another 2-6 weeks. I picked up my truck and drove it to another dealership that had it diagnosed the next day and a new transmission in 3 days. On top of being lead on and told multiple times that it would be looked at that day or the next and never following through I had a Milwaukee tool box locked in the bed of my truck under a bed cover. after a week in the shop I needed my thousands of dollars in tools. To my surprise my entire tool kit was missing. I confronted the service manager and he said it wasn't their responsibility for property stolen from my vehicle that you can only get to with the keys. I filed a police report and with approximately $1200 in tools being stolen it is a felony level. the deputy at the Oxford police department told me that there was a dozen reports of stolen property from vehicles at belk. If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is so shady. They'll quote you on a price one day and if you call back and ask about THE EXACT SAME THING they'll give you a hiked price. They also break parts on your car just so they can charge extra to fix the parts THEY broke. They'll also charge you 200 dollars call it it a diagnostic fee but that's not even the price of the diagnostic fee. service and do not stand behind their workmanship*** I will start off this review by giving you the full story of my business relationship with Belk Ford in Oxford, Mississippi. In October of 2017 my Dad called me and said after looking at trucks for several weeks that wasn't probably going to be able to get a new truck due to several dealerships wanting to take take advantage of him with pricing and financing interest rates. My dad is a senior citizen but is pretty sharp for his age. So I asked dad what he wanted in a truck, the color, interior, engine etc. Then I asked what was was gonna put down and wanted to do on financing. My dad usually has a credit score between 750-820. After talking to several dealerships with no luck I contacted Belk Ford. I spoke with dean and was able to work out a fair deal over the phone with no bull crap or haggling. I was very happy with the deal the gave my dad ! In March of 2018 I decided I was ready to get a new f250 and trade in my 2015 f150. I spoke with dean again and after I decided what truck I wanted we worked out a fair deal and I purchased my truck. I was very happy with the way I was treated again. After about 4 months my truck developed what is called "death wobble" this is a problem that Ford has been aware of for several years now but will not acknowledge this as a problem or recall vehicles. I brought my truck in to have this problem repaired they replaced a part and made some adjustments and off I went. About a week later I had my wife and daughter in my truck with me going about 70 mph on the interstate where I crossed a bridge and when my truck crossed the expansion joint of the bridge it began to shake violently "death wobble" I got the truck under control and calmed down my family and took it back to the dealership the next day, on the way to Belk it death wobbled about 4 times. After inspection of my truck the service mechanic could not find any issue so he consulted Ford tech support which instructed him to install an aftermarket dual steering stabilizer kit on the truck. This upgrade was not covered under warranty and cost me $500. At the time it was frustrating but I approved the repairs even though I didn't think I should have to do this to a $70,000 truck. This corrected the issue and I have only had one other intermittent issue with a oil light on my truck that took a few time to diagnose. My truck and my dads truck have been serviced at Belk Ford every single time since the day we left the lot. In April of 2020 my brother in law decided it was time to purchase a new truck. I picked up the phone worked the deal with Belk we drove down and he bought a truck that day! In October of 2020 while in Wyoming I looked under my truck to find the plug to my engine block heater and found that my steering stabilizer kit had shifted downward from what I am assuming as improper torquing or improper installation. This caused the bracket to rub my sway bar and wore the sway bar and bracket about 1/8 inch each way. I took my truck to Belk after several days of having my truck they called and informed me that it would not be covered under warranty and that the repair was gonna be $400+ dollars. I asked why it was not covered and AL and Mike informed me that the bracket was bent from me bottoming my truck out . I then asked them how could a bracket bend downward onto the sway bar from bottoming out and there be no damage to the sway bar. They then informed me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that they are the mechanics not me . After expressing my frustration in a very upset manor they agreed to do the repair at half the cost. Me being in North Carolina working I agreed. Once my truck was repaired I returned to pick it up. I then tried to get more answers and try to get them to stand behind there work but they would not ! Mike and AL then bullied me by saying you agreed to this repair over the phone . You need to be a man of your word and pay the bill! I was a Belk Ford customer for life until this day! They not only lost my business but also my dad and brother in laws as well. They took advantage of my elderly parents. They traded in a 2010 escape with 95000 miles on it and absolutely nothing wrong with it. They gave them $1000 for it. Trade in value was between $2500 and $4000 according to multiple on line sources. Then they turned around and put it on their lot for $8000. If I had known before hand I would have stopped them from trading it in. Belk Ford definitely took advantage of my parents. Luckily for them I live out of state or I would be there having a long talk with the sales manager. read more

Impressive and professional customer service from Tommy of the sales team. I wanted to purchase one of their pre-owned autos I saw on their website for my son who is a student at Ole Miss. His old car died and he needed a reliable vehicle to get to St. Louis for a summer internship that started on Saturday. My concern was, it was Wednesday, he needed the car by Friday morning, he was in Oxford and I was in Pennsylvania. Tommy took care of everything super efficiently - decent offer on the trade-in, pushed thru all the paperwork and overnighted it for me to sign Thursday morning. Paperwork overnighted back to Tommy that same day and the new car was picked up by my son Friday morning as promised. I have owned Fords since 1992 and used dealerships in Houston, TX, Austin, Tx, Shreveport, LA; Batesville, Ms and Laurel, MS. By far the worst dealership of any brand I have ever dealt with. I took it for a test drive and everything was great, the CARFAX came out with no issues. Super nice friendly people. Then literally the same day as i got the insurance to drive off their lot the check engine light came on. Next day i called them, they said you bought it as is! I explained to him my service issue and he spoke with the service manager, Pam, who promptly took my vehicle to the service department where her service team noted the problem and took immediate action to address my service needs. He gave me a reasonable price, talked me through the whole buying process, and explained every detail of the bill. I told him I wasn't sure if I should buy now or wait until after summer when I move here permanently. He offered to store my car for me all summer, free of charge. We were looking for white van with a light colored interior...the Belk Team had the very car in stock. John, our salesman, went over the features (unlike some dealerships...John knows his product)...we drive the van (Sienna) and just loved it. The three AC units was a big plus. John also did all the sales documents and it makes the sale a lot smoother. We are pleased with our new car. So we gave a Prius V (44 mpg in town) and the Sienna Van (25-28 mpg on road)...so we are good to go! We are a Toyota family and love the quality of their cars. read more

12/15/16 Update: I decided to give Belk one more try in an attempt to avoid a large expense to tow my car to Batesville. I was able to speak/work with Pam (Service Manager) after my very frustrating first experience. Pam was VERY helpful and VERY honest. She was honest with me when I brought it back and they were too busy to look at my car the first day even after she promised me that it would get looked at when we talked the day before. But instead of dancing around, making up stories about how/why they didn't look at it. She just said it was a crazy day and they didn't look at it. She was apologetic and honest. Something I (and every other customer appreciates). Bottomline they finally did get to my car the next day, found the problematic issue causing the engine light to come on. And Fixed it. Pam was great, I highly recommend staying away from Jessie. I'm sure a very nice young lady, but was always defensive and came across as telling half-truths every time. Just be honest, that's all people expect. Original Review: The Service department there is a joke. They had my daughters car for 3 full days. Her engine light was flashing (which is obviously a serious issue), they kept saying "we are looking at it, but it's not the only car in Service". I must have heard "it's not the only car in Service" 5 times (like anyone needs to be told something that obvious). My daughter picked up her car Friday (after dropping it off on Tuesday), the engine light started flashing nearly immediately on 3 mile drive to her house. It appears to me that Service is either A) Incompetent or B) Lying (as in they never even looked at it - which is what it appears to me. Every conversation I tried to have with the Service Advisor was contentious (Jessie was VERY defensive on all 3 conversations I had with her). I always started out being friendly (but inquisitive), Jessie always started out defensive and surly. I just have a hard time getting my head around how a Ford dealership can have a car for 3 days with an engine light flashing and not be able to at least diagnose the problem. They kept saying it's one of 3 things. This isn't Brain surgery here. Needless to say, now I have to have her car towed to the Ford Dealership in Batesville in the hopes they at least have people competent enough to determine why the engine light is flashing. Do NOT bring you vehicle into the Service department here. I have worked with dozens of dealerships over my many years and cars and I've never dealt with such rude and apparently incompetent people in my life. read more
