They carry an entire stock of the items they carry and never have empty shelves. Finding what she is looking for is always easy. The checkout lines can get busy, but they do move and the cashiers have always been friendly and helpful on each visit. The Kohl's Cash rewards program is a nice feature and keeps Kohl's as an option when looking at running to Kohl's for an item or ordering from Amazon. I understand the expiration date on your Kohl's Cash but wish they stayed active slightly longer. Returns have always been an easy process when items do not fit properly. During the pandemic when dressing rooms were closed, we never had any issues with making a return. The dressing rooms are now back open and my wife and the few times I have used them have found them to be well maintained, private, and secure.

I mean where else can you buy a yo-yo, a bicycle handle-bar bell, a game of jax or bins of penny candies that are no longer a penny. It looked like most of the customers here were window shopping with lots of "I remember those", "come see this" or "what the heck is that". This store is a great place to reminisce and it's definitely a touchy-feely store that everyone picks up everything to get a closer look so most items here are like a Petri dish, a little hand sanitizer might be something you'll want to pick up while you're here. The staff is really great and can point you in the right direction if there's a particular item you're looking for unless it's a block of salt , a sack of flour or a country ham in a cloth sack hanging from the ceiling, it's not that kind of general store the only mason jars I saw here were filled with cat-eye marbles. I asked the clerk at that time could I return it if it didn't fit since it was for Christmas. She replied YES. As it turned out, It didn't fit him, and I tried to return it today. The woman I talked with was rude, condescending, and downright ugly. She said I purchased it on "Gold Rush Days", and she would not give me a refund because it was a last sale. I don't go to county fairs (they are too hectic, and I can't walk for long periods), so I didn't purchase it then, for sure. It still had tags attached to it, albeit I had cut off the cost of the shirt since it was a gift. I asked for a credit which she refused to give me. I asked to see the manager, and she said she was the owner. Her name was Anna or Abby something, but she refused to give me her last name. I explained that I could not use the shirt, but she didn't care. Her face and words said it all. I have purchased hundreds and hundreds of dollars in clothes and items for my teen and young adult grandchildren and for my husband, daughters, and sons-in-law over the last 14 years, but I will NOT buy anymore from this store, and I will tell my friends of my terrible experience with the owner.
