Many times this store is out of what you need. The same items are still out two or three weeks later.

It's amazing how I find that I need things when I'm on the road in the Sprinter van. Today, it was bottled water and a screwdriver. A strange combination but Walmart carries both and I also took advantage of the restroom while I was here. The store was in good condition compared to other Walmarts I've patronized, with very few carts loose in the parking lot and most aisles well stocked. I was actually greeted when I walked into the store and this was almost shocking. Restroom was clean and stocked. I had no issue finding what I needed and paying for it. This Walmart is no good, I went in there looking for one thing and one thing only for them to not even have it. The thing was frosted animal crackers, you would think that the Walmart would have that because it should be a staple for them but they did not. I was throughly disappointed as were the other two people that were with me. If you are looking for frosted animal crackers the Cornelia Walmart is not the place to go. I think that they need to keep extra in the back but that's just my personal opinion. I think it is extremely unacceptable that they would not have such an amazing item like animal crackers but they did not. This was probably the worst trip I have ever taken to the Walmart. If the people at Walmart see this I would love to get a pass to get free frosted animal crackers because it's just not right. I'm not really one to go and write a review about the Walmart but this time really set me off. Finally this was honestly the worst experience I've ever had at any Walmart I've ever had, I feel like I was personally disrespected by this Walmart and should bet getting free frosted animal crackers but I cannot be the one to grant that, that is up to Walmart. I love shopping at this location, my husband and I like going at weird hours during the day. Most of the time when it's not to busy, so my anxiety level doesn't get to high. There are a few complaints that I have I can't find dairy free cream cheese or any dairy free cheese that is good to make pizza with I have shop somewhere else for those products, other than that Walmart you rock!! read more

Very cluttered and overstocked with 'stuff', but not enough carefully selected stock, in my opinion. I often do not find what I am looking for, due to the extremely confusing setup. This is where Target stores always excel - they are well-lit, uncluttered, and very intuitively designed. I spend as little time here as possible because I always leave feeling frustrated by the confusion. Also, just a very personal complaint - no cruelty-free animal products like meat, eggs and dairy. I will never buy these things from WalMart since I know where they come from and the cruel conditions under which the animals are raised and processed. read more

Admittedly, I stopped in for a bottle of water and cash back, so I didn't walk through this walmart, although it's not super at all. From the looks of the outdoors, it seems like it's been here a while, but inside it's the standard walmart layout. Not too much more to add. read more

The store manager here has yet again ruined my travel plans. I have made not one, but two plans to visit my friend (as a school teacher, my time is not flexible) once over fall break, and once, this coming week, for Christmas. I travel from Indianapolis to visit, and as an avid supporter of Walmart, I'm horrified by this treatment of managerial employees and making last minute schedule changes, despite explanation. Now, not only are the employee's plans ruined because of being called in to work during my visit, YET AGAIN, but now my Christmas plans, a shopper and supporter of Walmart, are ruined by one woman. I have other shopping options and if a Walmart manager does not care about my 9+ hour drive to visit my friend in plans that we have had set, maybe it's time I utilize them, or we find a Store Manager that cares. read more

I've been to a lot of Walmarts. This one has very friendly associates for the most part, but the stock is pretty lacking. Go to the vitamin section for example. Every WM I've been to has been organized, with all the vitamins and supplements in alphabetical order. Not here. As I try not to feed the Amazon machine more than I have to, I end up ordering stuff online and having it delivered to store -- but this is stuff that should be in the store to start with. I have tried to find someone that likes the new Wal-Mart in Cornelia. So far, I haven't found a single person. One of the most common statements is: "I liked the old one better" Here are some of the complaints: "I can never find anything like I could in the old store- it is certainly bigger, but not better." "Why are the hooks and shelves bare?" "Why are the aisles going one way crashing into another going the other way- all over the place?" "Did you go to the opening? That was the most pitiful opening in the history of openings" "I thought the old store had much more that I needed. Who is ordering all these things?" I could go on and on about what persons have found (or not found) at the new store. I, personally, find no fault with the persons that work there-however one can never find an employee in the area you are trying to find something. Today I was in the Garden Center and there were 9 persons in line waiting to check out. A week ago, I found only three check out counters open with a long line behind each. Can't the store open more checkouts? I wanted to complain to Management, but there was no one in the office. If the "higher-ups" would let the employees at the store run things, I feel that it would be much better. I know that Wal-Mart is aware that those of us in the area have really no other place to shop and so possibly that is why there are so many negative things at the store. But many persons are driving to other Wal-Marts because they are so disappointed. The high cost of gas is preventing more of this, but I really feel that something should be done. POOR service, Walmart CLAIMS to honor competor's coupons well I guess it is just who you ask. Cahiers were rude and they must think that the money is comming out of their pockets. SO I TAKE A COMPETOR'S COUPON, THE CAHIER PULLS OUT A POLICY BOOK AND SAYS" OH WE DON'T ACCEPT THAT ONE." A competor's coupon is a competor's coupon no matter face value. Then the cahier is so rude to me that the manager has to finish ringing up my ordder. Aisle are full of stock any time of day. Workers are more concerned with personal chit chat than helping most of the time. Customer service is not up to par. More times than not they are out of what you need or it is not stocked in the correct place. The check out line is what takes the cake. The entire left side of the store rarely has a register open. I have more than one time left because I didn't care to stand in line for 20 minutes. read more

Too many corners, too many dead ends. You get in a corner and can't get out because shoppers are looking for their items on the shelves and there are displays in the middle so you just can't move around. Things are not put together logically. Employees don't rate very high on customer assistance issues. If you can find them they are often engaged in their own conversations and ignore customers or simply don't know where things are. They had rather say "right over there" rather than make sure they are telling you correctly. Most of the time "right over there" is not the correct answer. Very frustrating to shop there......I will just continue to shop at the Commerce, GA Walmart. read more
