I started going to Belill Eye Care myself, out of convenience (it's right in town). I have since grown to realize how much I appreciate the level of care I receive at each of my visits. Dr. Belill stays on top of the newest techniques and tries to keep the best equipment in his office. I truly believe that you won't find this level of care elsewhere in the area. I have since started bringing my whole family (youngest is 3 years old) and the experience has been fantastic. To put my previous comment in context, I have been going to ophthamologists and optometrists since I was 4 years old and I am now 33. I took my 2 children to Dr Balill. The office was great. Staff was excellent. But dr seemed very cold and distant. Didnt really answer questions and seemed annoyed that my youngest was fussy. Their TV screen in their room also talked a lot about vaccines, which is not something I'd expect for a eye doctor that has no business in the vaccine industry. Very huge turn off for me when I saw that, and how the dr acted. He did fantastic with my oldest, but toddlers dont seem to be his strong suit. Probably wont return because of it, which is a bummer since it's so close to our home and the closest pediatric eye dr. Hopefully Dr works on his behavior with younger patients in the future. read more

Dr. Belill is an excellent eye doctor. Hands down the more thorough and attentive eye exam I have ever received. We have been going to him for several years now and his care is top notch. The office staff is also always so friendly and helpful. Booking an appointment is usually about four weeks out but they ALWAYS get you in right away for an emergency. They have also fixed my sunglasses in minutes when I had just popped in unannounced expecting to just leave them there to pick up another day. I can't say enough about how much we love this place. This is my 4th year with Dr. Belill. I am very pleased with the indepth testing they do and the friendliness of the entire office staff. Felica is very kind and detail oriented in sizing and ordering new glasses. Brittany, I believe, took me back for pre exam testing. She was very kind and good to talk to you. The doctor and staff are the nicest people. They welcome you like you were family. I have been to numerous different optomotrists. I have finally found the last place I will go to. We love Belill eye care in Clio, MI. He gives the most thorough exam I have every received . Dr. Belill is a very knowledgeable and intelligent Doctor.
