From what I've learned, LPN programs normally require in‑person clinical hours, so this was a major red flag. In addition to the tuition cost of around $16,000, students were required to pay separately for books, and there was a $75 fee for every failed exam. Another concern was the lack of transparency. I repeatedly asked for the full names of the instructors and the owner of the school, but I never received that information. I also never received a student handbook, which made it difficult to understand the program's policies or expectations. Throughout my time there, I never saw my instructors' faces on Zoom, and I could not verify whether they were licensed RNs qualified to teach an LPN curriculum. The school had hundreds of students from different states and countries, yet I never met anyone who had actually completed the program.
