I had a great experience with Angelmedic. I was nervous taking a CPR class during COVID but the class was very small - just myself, one other participant, and our instructor - and safety precautions were taken. Our instructor Paul was funny and personable, and did his best to make the content interesting and relevant. He did a great job bringing up real life examples of emergencies and took our training beyond the content of the Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED class. I have been CPR and first aid certified for about 15 years and this is the first class that I actually learned new, interesting things. Angelmedic also sells PPE and first aid accessories, and I picked up a professional grade tourniquet for my first aid kit, and a CPR face mask key chain to keep on me. I highly recommend Angelmedic for CPR training. All of the instructors have medical training and backgrounds, and they did a great job keeping the material fresh with real life stories. I registered and paid for the first Thursday class in May after signing up back in April. Since then, every week that I've been on my way to the location, I've received a text message saying the class was canceled or providing another reason why it could not be held. I lost so much business because of this place. I requested a refund over a month ago, but I still have not received it. I have called multiple times, left messages, and sent emails, yet no one has returned my calls or responded to my requests. I am requesting that my refund be processed immediately. I have made every reasonable effort to resolve this matter directly. If I do not receive my refund or a response within the next few business days, I will have no choice but to dispute the charge with my bank and pursue any other appropriate consumer protection options. read more

I am beyond frustrated with my experience with Angelmedic CPR. If I could give zero stars, I would. Back in early August, I reached out to them to schedule CPR training for over 20 staff members. We settled on a date, paid the deposit, and took care of the invoice. Everything seemed good to go--until the day before the training. Literally the day before the training, I received a message saying they needed to reschedule due to their instructor suffering from a mild stroke. While I understand emergencies happen, the last-minute notice threw our entire schedule into chaos. After the initial letdown, I decided to give them another chance. In September, I reached out again to schedule a training for February--again for 20+ staff members. We locked in the date, paid the deposit, and hoped for the best. However, in the days before the training, I reached out in advance and mentioned that while not all 20+ staff members could make it, we'd still have over 10 present. Then, at 6 PM the night before the scheduled training--while I was out of the office--I received an email stating, "We had you scheduled for 10 staff, however, the instructor is unable to provide the course due to low attendance. We need to arrange a virtual course so everyone can attend. If this doesn't work for you, we can provide a refund." Excuse me? Not only had I clearly communicated our needs from the start, but they also dropped this bombshell the night before with zero warning. It's baffling how they got our numbers wrong after multiple confirmations. And offering a virtual course as a last-minute alternative was not only unprofessional but completely impractical for our needs. To make matters worse, I noticed a Yelp review from last December where someone else experienced a nearly identical issue--again with the excuse of a medical emergency it's becoming clear this might be a recurring issue. Overall, Angelmedic CPR demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism, poor communication, and complete disregard for our organization's needs. I would not recommend them to anyone needing reliable and professional CPR training. Save yourself the headache and find a company that respects your time and commitments. read more

I paid AngelMed $550 for CPR training on October 25. The training date was scheduled on October 30. On October 29 they said the needed to reschedule the training due to a medical emergency. The email said, "Our instructor called this evening that they are in the emergency room being evaluated for a suspected stroke. They're being admitted for 48 hours observation. We're going to need to reschedule Wednesday's skills session. We are unable to find someone by tomorrow. Can you provide another date?" We tried to reschedule but they were unable to do so within the time frame I needed. I requested a refund on November 4. Per their policy, "If Angelmedic cancels within 48 hours of your course you'll be offed a full refund." After I requested the refund, they stopped responding to my emails and calls. According to the BBB website, this has happened before with other customers. read more

This is the 2nd time I've used Angelmedics. 2 years ago I took the class with Tina (the owner) and she was great. I went in being very knowledgeable about CPR, but still managed to learn new things and become more confident in my abilities to administer first aid/CPR. My certification recently expired and I didn't realize it until the day before, so I began to panic because I needed it done ASAP in order to continue working. I went into my email and got the name & number for Angelmedics and got in the class for 2 days later. When I arrived, I met the instructor, Paul. He was very friendly, warm & welcoming. He's a veteran of the British Army and just a fascinating, intelligent and hilarious guy. He brought such a unique feeling to the class, while it is a serious subject matter, he was able to incorporate humor into it and make it much more easy to pay attention to and even enjoy. He could be very serious, but also entertaining which I truly appreciated for the 2.5 hour class! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to become CPR certified. My instructor Paul was awesome!! Kept the class engaging, succinct and made a lot of jokes along the way. I got to brush up on my skills without feeling bored out of my mind. I also was lucky enough to have the other person in my class not show up so it was an amazing one-on-one experience. He was also extremely flexible, willing to wait a few minutes to see if the other person was late and was willing to stay after I had completed to help them catch up if they had shown. He also informed me if it was past a point in the class or if they did miss the class they would be able to reschedule at a later date. Personally I had missed my first class due to a family emergency- i was unable to connect by calling or emailing but I was able to reschedule pain-free by texting the number listed. I love the flexibility! Overall amazing experience and if I am able to I would renew with them in a heartbeat. read more
