Then you set up a Paypal account, charge people for classes, and have a no refund, no change, no late admittance, no exceptions policy. BEWARE, if you have a life which has occasional emergencies, or a job that can call you in at the last minute, or maybe can't make personal calls from work, THIS IS NOT THE PROVIDER FOR YOU!!! You will quickly and permanently be separated from your hard-earned money. Most CPR customers are probably EMTs, Paramedics, RNs, etc., and don't get paid a ton in the first place. You certainly can't afford to waste money. GO ELSEWHERE! Here's what happened to me. On February 12, 2019, I paid $135.00 for a recertification of my ACLS license for a class on February 20. On February 20, I was called into work last minute. On the way to work, I tired to use the link in the email they sent me to try to arrange a different class date, but the web site said it was too late to change my appointment. The voice mail said they do not respond to voice mail messages, and the only way to contact them was via email. But that evening, when I emailed them (because I can't send personal emails from work), they replied saying they hadn't heard from me and I would have to pay for another class (see upload). Sure they hadn't heard from me, there's only one way to contact them, and that might not be possible for working people. Inconvenient at best. But based on a very similar review here on Yelp, perhaps it's predictive of the customer service you'll receive from this vendor. read more

I just took my BLS (Basic Life Support) for Health Care Provider course this morning! Amanda was incredibly friendly and helpful the moment I walked in the door. The course took only about 3 hours. I also thought it was a great price for the class. Everything about my experience was easy from registering for the class, having several days to chose from to take the class, directions to the office, and payment. I was able to sign up for the course just the previous day. There were only two other students in my class. By the way, this was my first time ever taking a CPR class and I received a 100% on the written exam. I highly recommended Mid-Florida CPR. My BLS license was due to expire on the last day of this month (1/2021) and as a registered nurse you literally get suspended or terminated if you fail to provide your certifications before the deadline. I didn't want to renew it at work because that would mean driving there on my day off Mid-FL CPR came through with the availability and convenience. I was impressed with the safe learning environment, multiple mannequins and equipment. The class sizes are small allowing them to follow COVID-19 guidelines well. The instructor: Jerry made the class lively, fun, informative, and comfortable. You claim your AHA card right before you leave as well. I will renew my ACLS and BLS with them henceforth! read more

I definitely recommend Mid-Florida CPR if you are looking to get certified. I did the First Aid CPR AED and was able to get my certificate right after completing the class. I was surprised that they no longer give you a printed card since the AHA recently switched to electronic ones but you can still print a copy out yourself to put in your wallet. Class size was small, utilized the videos in combination with hands on practice. I had to quickly find a place to take PALS on very short notice. Mid-Florida CPR was easy to register with and even easier to work with, to ensure I was ready for the class. With clear cut instructions about pretesting and directions to get to the facility, the process to take the class was painless. The instructor was friendly and very informative and helpful. Took the ACLS and BLS course after mine expired. So happy to have found Mid-Florida CPR to take these courses again! Kimber was excellent and the courses were run smoothly and efficiently. Small class size which helped with more 1 on 1 attention when needed. Also you get electronic and printed (if requested) copies of your cards the same day. I recently took ACLS here and a great experience. The instructor was Amanda and she made the material really easy to understand and practicing pushing buttons on the real defibrillator def helped me feel prepared to run a code. At the end she showed a video from TV shows and movies that had CPR scenes and it was fun to see how much I learned about what they were doing wrong! Never seen anything like that in another class but it was awesome. Will definitely renew here from now on....highly recommend. read more

Super simple to sign up and very energetic and friendly staff! With just two of us taking the class, it was a great advantage to be able to ask questions about anything and our instructor was very helpful in demonstrating the techniques and making sure we performed them correctly! Being able to receive my card the same day was also a major bonus!
