Courtesy gets it and says my battery is dead and that could cause the issue with the code because they don't see any transmission issue yet asks to fix it for $800. One weekend later they charge me $1200 because they needed to replace some wires. Fine. Literally the next day car won't start. I get it jumped. Next day won't start again. This is with my $800 brand new battery and $400 wiring. I'm not a car guy in any sense of the word however I truly believe they broke something and refused to take ownership. My car worked before I brought it in and didn't after I left. Last thing I heard was the BCM was drawing power from my battery (which it wasn't before I brought my car in) junked the car after they told me it would be another $800. RIP Big Bertha.

Unfortunately, my experience with Pro-Am Collision has been incredibly frustrating. They received…read moremy Toyota Grand Highlander around Memorial Day, and as of September 11, I am still dealing with unresolved issues from this repair. I initially worked with Randy, who encouraged me to purchase a replacement wheel and tire directly from Toyota and assured me that they would get the $907.91 expense approved through State Farm. Based on that assurance, I purchased it myself. Months later, I am still out $907.91. There was also an issue with one of my vehicle's sensors that Pro-Am was supposed to fix. I arranged an entire day around bringing my vehicle in and was told Randy would have a rental car set up for me. That didn't happen. I was sent to Enterprise, only to be told they did not have a vehicle for me. After wasting essentially an entire day getting the runaround, I finally told Pro-Am I was done trying to coordinate the repair through them. I took the vehicle back to Toyota, where they fixed the sensor for $198.85. There is also a door guard on my rear door that still needs to be replaced. Pro-Am already has the part, and Toyota agreed to install it if Pro-Am would simply get the part to them. That still has not happened. On July 31, I reached out to Jake at Pro-Am and laid all of this out again. I provided him with the $198.85 Toyota sensor repair cost, reminded him about the $907.91 wheel reimbursement, and explained that Toyota was waiting for the door guard. Jake responded that he would follow up with me. It is now September 11. I never received that follow-up. I understand that complications happen with collision repairs. What has been unacceptable is the lack of follow-through. Nearly four months after Pro-Am received my vehicle, I am still out more than $1,100 for expenses related to this repair, still waiting for a part they already have to make its way to Toyota, and still having to be the person chasing down answers. At this point, I don't know what else I'm supposed to do to get this repair completely resolved.

Zero stars. Never NEVER come to this scam of a shop. They "rebuilt" our transmission, didn't…read moreassemble it correctly - trans filter dropped off causing us to have it towed to them for re-repair (they didn't cover cost of tow even though it was in warranty). Vehicle still did not function correctly, returned a third time under warranty to get it fixed and was told "a little leaking is normal for an old transmission and there is nothing wrong". After a year of saving to get it fixed at a reputable shop we found that it had loose bolts, missing friction material, most rebuild parts were still original, damaged parts that should have been replaced, and a "new" torque converter that ate itself - all in less than 2000 miles of use. They refused to even work with us on compensation or even talk to us (went in person twice, sent TWO physical letters to them and got no replies or calls) - horrible place, never ever come here.

So they replaced that then they charged me $1,100 after they told me it was only going to be 750. And then when I confronted them about the huge difference in price the owner threatened me threatened to keep my vehicle and overcharge me for storage fees for every single day if I didn't just pay and leave . So I had my vehicle brought to a real mechanic and sure enough these assholes put the wrong serpentine belt on and put it on there so tight that it had to be totally disassembled to get it off . And so then putting that wrong serpentine belt on would have caused so many future problems for my vehicle . This was the second time they've done this to me . So the first time I brought it in for the same issue . So anyways they replace the fuel pump I pay that time it was $1,200 I don't have the receipt anymore otherwise I'd post that too but this has been about a year now . And I just didn't think about leaving any kind of review because I was pretty upset . You know so anyways I gave them $1,200 I leave I get two blocks away in my power steering doesn't work anymore so I turn right around go right back and dude comes out trying to act like he's looking for what the problem is then he offers to put it back on the lift to show me something and then gives me this line where he says oh I could just shed a tear for you too talking to me and my boyfriend . Once this place is original owners passed away the place went down the hill fast I will never bring my vehicle here ever again the only time I ever did in the beginning was for the $13 oil changes . And I cannot find their business that's open right now otherwise I'd be blasting this all over their website . But these people are shady as hell and will try to fight you if you disagree with them because that's what the owner Dave did to me . You're all pieces of s*** Dave and your son.
