Maner deserves every one of these five stars!…read more Our home was built five years ago, and recently the seals on four of our windows failed, leaving them cloudy. I made one call to Maner, and from that point on, the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The replacement windows were ordered promptly, and a few weeks later, their scheduler contacted me to arrange the installation. Everyone I dealt with--from the customer service representative I initially spoke with, to the scheduler, to the gentleman who came out to replace the windows--was courteous, helpful, professional, and a pleasure to work with. A special shout-out to the window fitter who came to our home. He was friendly and professional, and called ahead each time he had to come out to give me an update on when he would be at the house. He did a fantastic job, and was patient with my pushy dogs. It's refreshing to experience this level of customer service. They stood behind their product, made the replacement process incredibly easy, and treated us like valued customers.

I had used Augusta Granite in the past when Carl the owner was still running the company. So,…read morerecently I hired them to install granite in my bathroom. During the installation around my Jacuzzi spa tub, they jacked up the tub to the point where they broke all the jets on the sides of the tub. Didn't know until after I paid and finished the project to find all the jets broken and leaking. When I called to complain, they took no responsibility and blamed the tile contractor who didn't do anything in jacking up tub and installing the granite. But they promised to have supervisor call me...no call. When I called again and asked to speak with Carl, they said he is an absentee owner. ( Guess he makes so much money he has retired and lets the clowns run the business). Im tired of people from the whitehouse to the local granite company blaming other people. I was left with a $1000 of repair bills for their horrible installation. Cant and won't recommend!!!

Poor customer service. Carpet remnant left when new home was finished DOES NOT match my master…read morebedroom carpet, but does match the 2 guest bedrooms. I needed to make a repair at the doorway that was widened to accommodate wheelchair access from the master bedroom to the master bath. Merit's representative, Isaiah Parham and I agreed to repair carpet taking swatch from my master bedroom closet that would match existing carpet. In addition I had 1 piece of laminate flooring that bubbled on the surface needing replacement. I had extra laminate for that repair. I subsequently was quoted $800 to make the repairs. This, in my personal opinion, is a very outrageous price given it should only take 1 hour max to make both repairs. Due the lack of good faith in providing reasonable pricing for this repair, I would never ever recommend Merit Carpet due to their lack of basic customer service.
