Birthday cake
Lisbeth T.

This birthday cake is horrible! First time I eat cake from here that is not good. We ordered chocolate raspberry filling with whipped frosting. Inside I get all around the edges inside with regular frosting nasty. And only the center has the raspberry filling . Why put over an inch of regular frosting! That wasn't what I ordered. Ruined my cake! And not confetti that was ordered as well. Where they put the frosting has NO raspberry filling! Rip off! Smh Oh and on top of all this, service is garbage! No one is at the bakery department! You have to hunt for a person for help!

Seven dollar chicken salad sandwich with no chicken salad. Boo. Zero out of 10.

Avoid buying premade sandwiches at this store. They are completely deceptive with filling showing on the cut edges but nothing behind it. Dry bread. With a couple bites of chicken salad. Unacceptable. I bought it on a road trip and had to drive back because it was so bad. Shame on you Belair.

I frequent this store location because it's near my place of employment. Of course this means I come during lunch for their deli items. Chinese food and sandwiches. I'm usually satisfied with both and highly recommend you try them out. Especially the sandwiches. I prefer them over subway. I got the tri tip sandwich loaded with everything. Service is also great and very accommodating of any request.

Mold on baked goods. All of these particular brand packages have expiration dates of Aug 17. Today is Oct. 22.... This can make someone seriously sick.

12/4/21 Or should I say Raley's? Quality/Quantity - Always fresh and good quality. Atmosphere - Love the full service bathrooms. Good signage and buttons for bathroom service. This is one way to keep your bathrooms clean and well serviced. Cost a little more in labor but probably worth it, especially for a higher end supermarket. Appreciate the sink outside of the toilets. I also appreciate all the "Sacramento" Decor throughout the market. Service - GREAT at least for the bathrooms:) Price - You get what you pay for. A little higher in prices, but worth it for the quality and service. Owner Suggestion - Keep up the good work!

I don't know how I have lived in Sac for 25 years and have never been here. The store is filled with eye popping quality foods. Think of it as a smaller version of Whole Foods when it comes to food quality and prices. I noticed they had some top quality cuts of meats. The prices are quite high so I'll have to splurge some time on a nice steak. I did notice some items were pretty reasonably priced. For example, I was rather surprised to see they had a very large variety of Temple coffee beans for for $14.99 a bag. That's cheaper than I have seen elsewhere but I didn't pay close attention to the size since I was fully stocked on coffee at the moment. I had to try one of their legendary made to order sandwiches. Someone had recommended The Tuscany. Boy, was that delicious! And the sandwich was very large for $9.99, I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. There are tables outside so I purchased a bottle soda and a sandwich. Unfortunately, I didn't think ahead because there are no bottle openers available for customers to use so I was unable to enjoy my nice cold drink with my sandwich. I'll have to either bring my own bottle opener next time or choose a drink that is a screw top or flip opener.

I've always wanted to try their sandwiches because I've heard so many people rave about them! The…read morefirst sandwich I tried was the Corti Special on a Dutch Crunch roll, and the second time I also got the Corti Special, but on a sweet roll. The Corti Special is where they choose the types of meat that go into your sandwich. Their sandwiches are big enough for two people. I don't remember exactly what meats were in my first sandwich, but I definitely enjoyed that one more. The second time, the sweet roll got a little soggy for my liking, and I wasn't a big fan of the beef that was included. I am definitely a fan of their honey mustard, though! You can order your sandwiches online, or if you're ordering in-store, there's a slip you can fill out with your order. I waited about 20-30 minutes for my first sandwich, which wasn't too bad considering it was a busy weekend. The second time, I only waited about 5 minutes. They still have a great variety of meats, cheeses, and alcohol. It's a good place to stop by if you're looking to pick up some specialty grocery items along with a sandwich.

Adj: Small but Mighty little Grocery Outlet…read more Still a good one, an oldie but a goodie. We've been coming here for over a decade, and it's still a consistently good GO. For a more pricey part of town since it's in midtown, just on the edge of downtown really, this GO has stayed reasonable in all it offers. It's located at 1700 Capitol Ave not far from the east side of Capitol Park a few blocks from the Capitol Rose Garden. This GO is right across 17th St from the East End Complex buildings with offices for the CA Dept of Public Health and CA Dept of Health Care Services. Out front there were still some herbs and spring seasonal plants on sale, although only 1 rack of them left, since it's already kind of late in the planting season. This is a smaller store, given how expensive real estate is in downtown, but the owners have really packed it all in. Every section has most everything other bigger Grocery Outlet stores carry, except maybe not as many of any given item, but overall, I see that most things I'm looking for and buy regularly at my neighborhood GO is still available here. You've got your fruits, veggies, meats, cheeses, dairy (milk and yogurt), sundries, pantry staples like cans and dry pasta, seasoning (sauces and spices), freezer items (frozen veg, meats and heat-and-eat meals), and beers & wines all available here with great variety. As you enter the store there's a super convenient grab-n-go deli cold case section for quick ready-to-eat lunches which is super helpful for office workers who might be just looking to get something very quickly for lunch without breaking the bank. You can get a salad kit, a ready-made sandwich, pre-cut fruits, some cheeses, or a deli salad in this section. There's also a small floral section right near here so if you were looking for a gift to give to a coworker/boss/friend/your significant other, you can very easily and quickly find a nice potted plant or a small bouquet and be on your way. It's definitely not a full-service floral dept, but there's a good assortment of plants and flowers to choose from and some of were even tropical plants that looked pretty unique! Next there's the health & beauty section next, and it's pretty comprehensive. Next is the produce section and it's smaller than a suburban GO, but it's still got a little bit of most kinds of veggies and fruits you'd be looking for, and if you're ok with a different brand of salad than your go-to brand, you'd definitely find some here, so the key is flexibility while shopping at GO. Then there's the meat dept next to the produce section, it is smaller, but still a good sized display case filled with meats of all kinds, and next to that are the dairy cold cases where I saw some pretty nice brands of creamers such as Califia coconut creamer and Nutpods creamer, both priced so much lower than regular grocery stores, I'll add pics of those. My fav section is the snacks area. I found some snacks here that have been out of stock at 2 other GO's I visited looking for them, so I stocked up and bought a bunch so I won't run out! So thankful that they had them in stock! The rest of the store is laid out and stocked with pretty much the same items as other bigger GO's. You've got your dairy, frozen, pantry staples, and wine sections in addition to the other departments I already mentioned, and everything looked pretty well organized and quite easy to find. One thing is that the aisles here are closer together probably so they can save space and maximize their shelves to provide as much wonderful grocery items to their customers as they can. Check out was quite easy and the cashier was friendly and quick. Thank you Midtown GO and we hope you will keep on keeping us well-fed at affordable prices. I'll definitely be back to restock when I run low on my essentials and to look for new and exciting items at my favorite "bargain market"!

The longer lines were rolling pretty quickly, but our cashier decided to be pretty chatty with SOME of her guests. The two gentlemen in front of me must have really caught her attention because she started a conversation with them right away, without them initiating it. It took her more than 10 minutes to ring them up because she kept stopping and talking, and I could not believe that she was disregarding the line growing behind me. I thought she'd greet me just as nicely since i greeted her very friendly, but I guess i didn't have the same effect as the gentlemen in front of me. I had almost run out of shower soap and did not want to wait one or two days for an Amazon delivery. I was also looking for a better option than the liquid soap I normally use, something more natural and free of unnecessary chemicals. I first went to Target on Fulton Avenue and spent about 15 to 20 minutes looking, but I could not find what I wanted. Then I remembered that I had purchased an oatmeal soap at Trader Joe's before, so I drove a few more minutes to your store. I had just come from the gym, so honestly, I was stinky and in desperate need of taking a shower with a good soap. The bar of soap was the only item I grabbed. When I came to the cashier, I realized that I had forgotten my wallet. I tried to use the electronic payment app on my phone, but my card was locked. I had locked it for security reasons, and the app had changed the way to reopen it. I struggled with it for a few seconds. Without a second thought, K. Ervita pulled out her phone and paid for my soap. I told her, "Oh, please, you don't have to," but she said it was okay. I was embarrassed and grateful at the same time. I was so surprised that I even forgot to ask her name, but thankfully, I found it on the receipt. We are all going through different struggles. She did not know my situation. I could have been going through a truly difficult time and not had enough money to pay for that soap. Still, this kind lady simply saw someone who needed help and paid for it. I could return to the store and give her the $5.00 she paid for me, but I feel that might defeat the purpose of her random act of kindness. Instead, I plan to intentionally look for someone else I can bless and continue what she started. I also want to thank you for helping create the kind of work family where an employee would do something like this. Her act made my day and convinced me to become a more loyal Trader Joe's customer. No amount of marketing or advertising can accomplish what one sincere act of kindness can do. When a company encourages employees to treat customers with empathy and care, people remember it.
