    I have been a patient for years now, I don't understand the change, I just called and was literally…read morelaughed at on the phone while trying to handle a referral request that the neurologist that I need to see for my sever migraine attack that I just experienced insisted I get from my primary MD. This was the second request. The receptionist was clearly having a joking conversation as she answered the phone, in a good mood fine, laughing?? a little strange, continuing to laugh during our conversation and after putting me on hold, entirely unprofessional. All this on top of when I asked the number it was originally faxed to she said and I quote " well I wasn't the one who faxed it, I just called you and told you it was done!" ... then when I asked again what number it was faxed to "Hold on (laughing) I have to get to another screen!" then still no answer to the question and put me on hold, only to come back to the phone still laughing and tell me it was electronically signed by the doctor and that all she knows. I work in this field and happen to know the EPIC software that they use. It is clear that they sent it to the wrong doctor and are refusing to admit that is what happened. That to me is shady. When she asked me for the doctor's name and fax number again, that was when I was certain. I am very disappointed and hope that someone at Providence reviews their YELPS. Better luck next time. For the record, they still have amazing docs. It's too bad the office staff has been acting so shady. They are making people wait, lying and, over all unprofessionalism as of late.

    Every appointment they have been late. Our kids doctor is great and we received great care from her…read more but that's the only positive. This office harasses you on being "on time" which is 15 minutes before your appointment which is typical for any appointment but they are consistently late. Always running 30 minutes to an hour late into your appointment time. It's ridiculous. Yesterday we ended care at this office due to them being late AGAIN. We called ahead this time to confirm with whether or not they were running on time so we wouldn't have to wait super long with a newborn. They said they were on time so we proceeded with the appointment. When we got there, my husband asked about timing and come to find out they were running late. We arrived 5 minutes early as we don't come 15 minutes anymore because we were tired of waiting regardless of our set time. He sat down and waited until 9:05 which is 5 minutes past our actual appointment time as to which my husband got up and asked how late they were running and was told probably another 15-20 minutes before he's put into an exam room which he then asked how long it would be once he's in the exam room and the front lady kind of shrugged and couldn't give him a time. Also, the front desk lady acts like a complete Karen. She mwanted to argue with my husband about ID verification which is completely fine they wanted to see his ID but all because he made a comment about saying "oh is this a new policy" and she snapped at him about it and said "it's always been this way" which he responded just saying "oh this is the first time other than our first initial appointment" she proceeded to correct him only to have the same thing happen with the next patients walking in saying the same thing. I found it completely rude, not necessary at all and unprofessional. She needs a lesson on human decency, this whole office does. At this point, my husband let them know that we would be leaving and transferring our care. So we didn't make the appointment and left. During our ride home my husband called Optum and we transferred our care. We were saw later that afternoon and were in and out of a different office within 20-30 minutes. They were actually ahead of time. Will not be going back to the Optum Harbour Point ever again.
