I only got worse during…read morethat time but she just kept utilizing the same tired & outdated strategies that obviously were not working for me. Furthermore, it was clear from things she said that she cared more about building her business and clientele than about helping people. The last straw was when she started pushing the movie "The Secret" on me and insisting that a client of hers got the traffic lights to change in his favor by envisioning it hard enough. I think that anecdote was a good example of the overall experience I had with her - - she would try to convince me that if I just wanted to feel better badly enough it would come true. Therefore if I wasn't feeling better I obviously just wasn't envisioning it hard enough or coming to therapy often enough. I wish I could have those years back & see someone else. Or that she could have been a big enough person to admit that she wasn't in a position to help & refer me to someone who could have. Thank goodness things are better now but I will never get those years back.

However, Dr. Cassandra Cauble was instantly a breath of fresh air to me. She helped me with many things over the years, and helped me to uncover things I never even knew were there. Finally I understood why some of the issues in my life were there, and more importantly where they came from. Everything suddenly made sense, so it gave me a place to start in my healing process. She was someone I trusted, felt safe with, and honestly looked forward to seeing because it became a place for me to feel like there was hope and sense in the reasons for my struggles. Most of the time it felt more like talking to a friend rather than a doctor, and she went outside of my expectations to be there for me and help me throughout the years. She was both empathetic and instructive.

That is my opinion. I will provide supporting facts. Full disclosure: Ferrick spoke against me in Court after she was appointed as a Behavioral Interventionist in the re-unification of our child with his mother, whom he had refused to see since turning 16. Fact: Ferrick is NOT a medical doctor, yet she made a medical diagnosis upon which she based her recommendation to the Court, which backfired and caused financial and emotional damage to all parties involved. (My comment; Two MD doctors, with MD degrees, literally laughed at her obviously wrong diagnosis.) Fact: Ferrick claimed the child could not think straight (cognitive decline) due to his weight. The kid was getting straight A's in multiple AP classes, had a 1540 SAT, and ended up as high school Valedictorian. I am not making this up. Fact: Ferrick told the Court I hated my mother and wanted my child to also hate his mother. But.....I had told her the exact opposite. I had a wonderful relationship with my mother and can prove it. (My comment; Instead of verifying even once if she heard right, given how impactful this was, and why I would ever 'admit' this, Ferrick just plowed ahead). There is actually and unfortunately more. But this is plenty.
